From the moment I walked in I found JAWS swag including a big head of a great white waiting to eat me.. The Edgartown location is by far the larger of the two locations on the island and has more stuff. I grabbed a Jaws shirt, MV hat and hot pink swim shorts for my next trip in Maui... The electric Palm tree shorts were unavailable in my size , wahhhh.... I appreciated the kids running the check out area. Very helpful and addressed all questions. Now the girl running the dressing rooms was a little too busy chatting with the helpers. However I accomplished my goals and had an amazing time shopping. Appreciated the amazing clothes made by this store. Almost makes me wanna buy a sailboat and rename myself BIFF. Vineyard Vines sets the example of how a store should conduct business. The store was not in complete disarray like so many stores are these days and superlative staffing. YOU ROCK VINEYARD VINES!

They have a cute children's section. When we visited around Christmas time they had a small selection of ornaments. They also have a really nice selection of chocolate, including locally crafted bars that we really enjoyed. I also purchased a convenient and spacious tote which was really practical for Christmas shopping and a nice souvenir of our visit. Definitely look forward to returning here. Since we were there in the pre-season, there wasn't much open on the island, and the bookstore owner took a great deal of time speaking to us about different ideas to pass our rainy days. I wandered around for hours, reading and enjoying some of the artwork in the small gallery while having a few cocktails. Service was okay and the bartenders were kind. The drinks they made were fine and some were very good, but one of the more memorable cocktails was the Manhattan Transfer, which was very strong and pleasant. I also liked The Hive. It was light, citrusy and just simple. My friends and I were surprised that everything was so reasonably priced that we ended up trying all the cocktails on the menu and a few local beers. We ended the night by picking up a few books to take back home :)
