The Kahlua cupcake was SO GOOD! I mean it's a bakery so maybe I shouldn't have been surprised, but it was a perfect match with a coffee. $2.50 for a cupcake and $2 for a coffee. I would've paid $4 just for the cupcake! The inside had a Kahlua filling that really hit the spot. The breakfast croissant has nice thick bacon with egg and cheese. It would've been a 5 star quick breakfast stop if the croissant hadn't gotten a little soggy being reheated. The burritos and croissants are premade and refrigerated, which I'm not complaining about at all. Just know that the pastry won't stay crisp. Still tastes great for a very fair price. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the clam chowder was. We got the large size (I think it was, like, $7-something) and it was enough for two of us to share. Nice and hot and hot the spot. I'd definitely stop here again.

An old CD based jukebox. Evidently it needs a little work but looks very interesting.

Leaving with a bad taste in my mouth from the Star Bakery just a week ago, I was dying for a decent…read morebreakfast. It was time to put Sunflower Sweets to the test. Walking in I already liked the vibe, it was delightfully welcoming. Another order at the counter and pay before getting your food. It was obvious though unlike The Star who seats you with a menu, then tells you to order at the "kiosk" when ready. Again, paying before food and service received equals no tip for food or service. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and an Apple Pie ish baked good. Server didn't even know what it was called. It was dished up in a togo container, even though I was dining in. For the eggs Bene, I asked if the hollandaise was house made before finding a table, she replied with, "everything is homemade", good answer. Seated at my table I attempted to eat said Apple Pie ish baked good. It was so hard I was unable to get a fork through the crust. Had to ask to have it put on a plate and warmed up. Once that happened, it was edible. Very good actually, just go a tad thinner on the outer edge crust and it would have been near perfect. Why it was not served hot and on a plate in the first place, I don't know. As I enjoyed my coffee, I had a flash back of the dumpster fire of a breakfast at The Star Bakery just 1 week prior and their god awful attempt at a cup of coffee. This coffee was however delicious and they brought me cream and sugar in case I wanted some. Waiting only 5 minutes, breakfast was served. Presentation was spot on, dash of paprika, micro greens, and an overall great appearance. Homemade bread, a thick slab of ham, not the thin Canadian crap, perfectly poached egg, this had all the landmarks of a delicious breakfast. I devoured the whole thing, it was in fact delicious. Room for improvement on the hollandaise, just a tad to much on the lemon juice, ease up on that, a hint of cayenne, and it would have been near perfection. Highly recommend this place. 3 stars is good in my book. They could easily pull 4 stars with some easy tweaks. Little on the service, not much on the food. Know what your baked items are called, serve them edible and not in a togo box. Make those hollandaise adjustments and boom, easy 4 stars. They are easy front runners in Madison county though with most other breakfast / bakery joints 1-2 stars.

Wow! Of all places, in Wise River, MT I found a hidden treasure today! Right off highway 43 in the…read moretown of Wise River is this cute little coffee shop. I had to pay a visit and I was so glad I did. They have good selection in their coffee menu. Such as Espressos, Lattes, Cappuccinos, and and more! I don't know why the coffee tasted so good. Perhaps its the glacial spring water around here? The milk froth in my coffee too was rich, creamy and perfectly frothy (could be all the farm fresh milk available in this small town). In addition to coffee, this coffee boutique offers some wonderful home made treats that the owner herself makes every morning! We tried her blueberry muffins and we were BLOWN AWAY with how delicious they were! This is not your run-of-the-mill blueberry muffins you get at your national coffee chains nor at a place like Costco. These muffins had a very generous amount of blueberries AND what seemed like raspberries! The berries too tasted as if they were recently picked. To top it all off, she had sprinkled a generous amount of raw sugar crystals! It was so good that as I was halfway through the canyon, I felt like turning around to go get another muffin and a latte! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner -- a very pleasant and super friendly lady by the name of Dawn. I highly recommend this wonderful place and everything this place has to offer -- on their menu! I know I will be a repeat customer at this place!
