We needed a car fast. After some comparison shopping, we decided on a Honda CRV. I spoke to a…read moresalesperson at another Honda dealer a little closer to where we live. They didn't have the model we wanted in stock. But offered us a higher end model at the same price. I thought it was too good to be true but they assured me it was. We made an appointment to see them that evening. Well, like they say, if it's too good to be true, then it probably isn't true. Sure enough, when we arrived, they wanted $5 grand more. I had spoken to Zack Coker earlier and he had offered us the model we wanted at a great price. Said they could give it to us that night. So after the horrible experience at Hendrick Honda (oops, did that slip out?), I was prepared to be disappointed once again. We arrived at 7 that night, 2 hours before closing. They assured me we could complete the transaction and go home with our car that night. Zack was off that day (but he still set up the sale) and had asked colleague Ed Haddad to meet with us. He had the contract all typed up and ready to go. We pored over it and wouldn't you know, the price was exactly as promised. I kept asking, are you sure? They were as good as their word. The finance manager (Tyler, if memory serves) made the payment process as smooth as could be. And we went home that very night with our shiny new Honda.

The good: not much to talk about other than they have a good selection of new vehicles for sale…read more Yes, I bought a new car but everything involved was a bad experience. From the time that I arrived and test drove an SUV, purchased it with cash and still had to go and sit at the finance dept., it took 6 hours of my time to leave with the vehicle only to return to have a part replaced the next week and they ordered the wrong part. The sales person Nicholas was nothing special. Nice guy but he could have cared less about making car buying a five star experience. It should not take 45 minutes to make a sale and a whole day to drive it off the lot. I will not be returning for any other service because if buying took forever, I don't care to experience the service department.

This was, by far, the best experience I've had buying a new vehicle. Every question and concern was…read moreaddressed, every representative was patient and courteous, every single step of the way. The finance manager, Cody, was the tip of the iceberg. I was so spoiled by his outstanding treatment and care, I will expect this service from here on out. Purchasing a new car is usually so taxing. Delray Hyundai literally made the experience a pleasure. I am so thankful I chose this dealership.

Horrible experience. Do not ever go there for any reason!…read more I went in to get the paint recall work done on my Hyundai. The entire top of my car has paint peeling off, and it looks terrible. About six months ago, the Delray dealership told me they couldn't help me because they didn't have a contract with an auto paint company like Maaco. They suggested I go to Coral Springs Hyundai, where they said the repair could be handled. They told me the job would take about 10 business days, and I would have to leave my car there with no loaner car. That's a 30-minute drive just to drop off my vehicle for a defect caused by Hyundai's substandard paint, with no transportation provided. Then, three weeks ago, the Delray dealership called me out of the blue and said they could now handle the recall repair locally. They told me to bring the car in and that they would provide a loaner vehicle until the work was finished. So I brought the car in, and they gave me a loaner. After five days, they suddenly called and told me to bring the loaner back and pick up my car because nothing had been done. Their explanation was that my car had been in a previous fender bender, so they could no longer perform the recall repair. First of all, they were the ones who called me and asked me to bring the car in, which would make you think the approval process had already been completed -- not something they would decide five days later after doing nothing. Second, the minor fender bender caused zero damage to the roof, which is where the paint is peeling. The bumper wasn't even scratched. What does that have to do with a paint defect on the roof caused by Hyundai's recall issue? In the end, I had to return the loaner, pick up my car, and leave with nothing done. They completely wasted my time. To make matters worse, the dealership told me this was a "corporate Hyundai decision." When I called Hyundai corporate to file a complaint, they told me the decision was made entirely by the dealership, not corporate. So which is it? The entire situation was poorly handled, misleading, and a complete waste of my time. I don't understand why they would call me in the first place if they had no intention of honoring the recall repair. All they accomplished was frustrating and losing a loyal customer.
