I visited Texas Laser Academy to have my legs and underarms lasered. The first time I went, I was…read moreunable to receive service due to an issue that could have been spotted by a questionnaire in advance, obviating the need for me to drive there. The same thing happened the second time. The third time, I was given an iPad to fill out a form. I have a disability that makes it very difficult for me to type on an iPad or phone, so I asked for help with the form. The manager complained (in a very confrontational manner) that I did not fill out the form myself. I have never been treated that badly before or since. That manager is the only service person who has ever complained about my need for disability accommodations. When I suggested that all forms be sent to clients before the first visit, so problems could be noted and solved before clients had to drive to the studio, he became quite defensive. He showed no empathy. I have never been treated so badly by any service provider. I find it ironic that a manager at a school that teaches people to perform a service career would be so callous. My advice is that you consider driving up north to Austin's other laser school, where service is impeccable.

From the moment you sit down with her, she is extremely thorough--asking detailed questions about your skin, lifestyle, and concerns to make sure every treatment is perfectly tailored to you. I have very sensitive skin, and Liza takes that into careful consideration at every step, which makes me feel completely safe and cared for. During my recent Hydrodiamond facial, she incorporated cryo-wands and massage, and I left feeling like my skin had been completely rejuvenated and glowing from the inside out. Beyond her technical skill, Liza is incredibly personable, warm, and kind--she makes every visit feel like a pampering experience with a friend who genuinely cares about your skin.
