Atum Restaurant used to have a sister restaurant called Atum Desserant, specializing in fancy desserts and ginormous dessert platters. But, it closed down permanently :(
Luckily, the original Atum Restaurant (you're reading about it right now) still operates and they offer lunch, dinner and high tea experiences. The restaurant is located at on 1/F of K11 Art Mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. You will have to make your way through a narrow alley of mini shops, and you will see Atum just tucked away on the left to the end.
We made a reservation around 2pm to celebrate NYE with my mom, and we were set to order the high tea set. It is $408 for 2 people, and it comes with a full platter of 24-piece mini sweet x savory finger foods, 2 garden salads, and 2 hot beverages (I ordered the rose & buckwheat tea, and mom had a cafe mocha). We also ordered the Pear and crab salad dish to share, and it was refreshing and delicious!
Food presentation is A+. I love their use of colours and making it very appealing and appetizing! It is especially amazing when you catch the chef creating multiple platters at the food preparation counter with such creativity, precision and details. I did find some of the sweets a bit too sweet for my liking, but overall, the food and drinks were very tasty :) read more
