The food is good. Had to ask for extra steak for the salad since they only give you a small portion of it.

Chocolate cake DEVOURED

SECRET DESSERT MENU.... Had steaks (filets) with "smashed redskins"(mashed potatoes) and asparagus, what they usually come with. Nicely prepared, great food and service but prices are not low! Thats everywhere now. The dessert menu does not list, a chocolate cake...very, very good..but many of their desserts are! Gotta go back to try them ALL

Hawaiian chicken and bruschetta chicken

Ordered catering for a birthday party. The non-meat items were fine, but both orders of chicken were extremely undercooked. It was actually shocking. The manager was nice enough, but he didn't really seem to care. He directed me to the catering service who provided me with a refund for just the chicken. It was really disappointing.

Decided to take my nephew out to dinner tonight so we made reservations and headed to Atria's. Luckily it was not too busy tonight when we got here - Monday night or holiday but we got seated right away and got our food relatively quickly ... only 35 min to sit - order - eat and pay tonight. He got the Ruben and I got the BBQ pork -- both were good. Our waiter was nice and attentive... kept coming around to check in on us Definitely a place you want to try.

Famous Pot Roast Nachos

We had our early Valentine's Day dinner here yesterday. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to getting out of the house for a nice dinner. The restaurant itself is nice, we were greeted as soon as we arrived and seated right away. Our waitress was spectacular and I wish I could give a five star rating just for her. We started out with drinks and an appetizer. The famous pot roast nachos were really good. I ordered the 8 oz center cut filet well done (yes, I'm one of those people) with smashed redskin potatoes and island rice. The potatoes and rice were on point but my steak was not well done as I ordered. The waitress saw how red the steak was and immediately offered to have it sent back to be corrected. I didn't even have to ask, she was attentive and took the initiative on her own. She returned back to our table within 5 minutes with my steak. I cut into it and it was still red in the middle. I had to send it back yet again. The manager delivered the steak after the second time going back and apologized for the inconvenience. He also took it off of our check which was nice. After 2 tries they did finally serve me a well done steak as requested. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parmesan and enjoyed it. The portion was HUGE! He took home leftovers which hardly ever happens with him. Overall I think I would try this restaurant again. I just wouldn't order another steak from here.

Good quality food and large portions. We ordered a steak salad - steak was super tender. Two had pot pies...The biggest pot pies you've ever seen! They were the size of a dinner plate. It was light and flaky. Enough for two or more people to share. The Rueben was delicious- thick sliced bread and generous corned beef. The Agra Diablo was large and very spicy. Any of the entrees we had could have been shared for two smaller portions. Service could have been a little better - we did come on a Friday and the host staff was super friendly- But we saw our salad sitting in the expo window for about five minutes before I made it to our table. The waitress did not follow up after we received our food to see if we needed anything else.

Example of prices that were charged.

Should a Pumpking draft beer cost $11.00??? We had no idea until the bill came. The glass was rimmed, but it was a sticky, flowing mess. Scary to think that we'd have to pay $22.00 if I wanted two draft beers!?!? I'm glad that my husband got a different one. The next day, I ordered the same thing (Pumpking) at another restaurant, and it was $6.50. Nice and neatly rimmed glass too. Lesson learned.

My…read morefriends and I would come in high school on Thursdays for $1 Burger Nights (no longer around, RIP), and now we come to enjoy some drinks on the patio and hang out. The bar is located in a strip of stores along Old Clairton Road, just off of route 51. There is some parking in the front that is shared with all the other businesses, and then a parking lot across Old Clairton that gets used at night when the businesses that it is for are closed. Additionally, there is a private lot for the bar in the back, and parking at the Bill Green Shopping Center just a little ways down the road (sidewalks from Bill Green to the bar entrance). Due to a fire that occurred here a few years ago, the entire place has recently been remodeled and reoriented from how it was originally. The bar is now in the back, and the main dining room is in the front. There is also a great patio and outdoor space with open air seating, as well as some area under a porch. Everything is new, clean, and modern as a result of the remodel. On this visit, we came to hang out on a Saturday evening. It was raining, so we had to get a table inside. It was karaoke night, as they have each Saturday, so we got to take in the sights and sounds of several performers. Since we were there later in the evening, we just ordered appetizers to much on along with our drinks. I got the Fiesta Street Corn Dip. It was a great value for the price, and there was a ton to go around the whole table. I also sipped on a Summer Shandy from their seasonal draft list. Overall, the food menu has a decent selection, all at very reasonable prices. The draft list did not have any red or brown ales on it, but there was still a fair selection of drinks. The ladies who came around to our table were pleasant and helpful. It was rather crowded, but there would be times we would not see a server for extended periods of time. I do not think it helped that our table was tucked back in a corner, but wish we would have been visited on a somewhat more frequent basis to put additional orders in. I always have a good time at the P-Bar, and enjoy coming here. Especially in the summer, it is an ideal place to hang out and catch up with friends. And likely, if you are from the area, you will run into several people you know. I did not have their breakfast this time, but the breakfast they have on the weekends is worth a try as well!

Parking is a breeze and on site. As we walked in, we were greeted and immediately seated. The hostess gave us the option of a high top or bench seat. Inside was exceptionally clean. Seating was nicely spaced around the bar, perfect amount of spacing to not feel cramped and able to hear your date/guests. You can get away with casual dress (I wore shorts and a tee shirt) but I would not feel overdressed in nice clothes either, it could easily accommodate both. Our waitress was super nice. Actually, every staff member was very friendly, which made for a very pleasant atmosphere. We started with a pretzel, both the honey mustard and cheese sauce were delicious. I ordered the summer special "backyard burger" which is a 7oz char-grilled steak burger. My wife got the Angus with a salad. Everything came out as ordered and was delicious! Service was excellent. The Loose Moose is located on Brownsville Road, right over the boarder into Whitehall from Pleasant Hills. There is plenty of signage identifying the building from the road. Additionally, there is a large private parking lot that surrounds the establishment. This visit to the Moose was on a Monday evening in July. Mondays are one of their Wing Nights, where whole wings are $1.25 each. We primarily came for this special, but also ordered some other items to enjoy with the wings. The restaurant was not too crowded at the time we arrived, which was right before 8 PM. As stated, this is a restaurant and bar. So, when you walk in, the bar is straight ahead and the restaurant part is to the right. There are several booths and tables in the restaurant part. Tables can be pushed together to allow for a larger group to dine. Most of the booths seat 4 to 6 people. It is open seating, meaning you can choose your table. The atmosphere here is very much a hometown bar vibe. There are TVs, pool tables, dart boards, and lots of life coming from the patrons and regulars. There are a few bubble gum/candy machines in the lobby. In the breezeway, there is even a cigarette vending machine. After choosing our booth, we placed our order. Being that we come here rather frequently, we ordered some favorites at this visit. To start, we chose a Combo Platter for an appetizer. This is a platter with 4 different appetizers from a specific list. We got the Zucchini, Pickles, Onion Rings, and Hot Cheese Balls. The Zucchini here is thicker, and all of the fried items have a thicker batter/breading. We liked all the items, and thought the size of the platter was very good for the price! It was enough to share with a few people. In addition to my wings, I also ordered a salad. I had the plan of eating some, and then taking the rest home for a lunch the next day. The salads here are a hidden gem, in my opinion. My personal favorite is the Chef Salad, which is what I ordered this night. It is piled HIGH with turkey, ham, pepperoni, and cheese, along with lettuce and other veggies of course. It is delicious and very satisfying since there is so much meat and protein! I would highly recommend this item for anyone coming here. Our wings came out last, about 35 minutes after we sat down. They fry all of the wings to order, so they will take longer than one might expect. However, because of this they always come to the table hot and fresh. There are several different sauce options to choose from. On this trip, I got the Loose Moose Sweet, which is similar to a Sweet Thai Chili-type sauce. My fiancé ordered Garlic Parmesan with Mild Sauce on the side. I am never disappointed with the wings, and this day was no exception. The value at The Loose Moose is hard to beat. Along with the daily specials, their regular menu is very reasonably priced. Especially considering how much food is served for the prices. The salad I always order is less than $7, and is enough to split into two meals for me. All of the appetizers are under $8, with most being under $6. It is nice to be able to visit somewhere without spending a fortune for a good meal. Plus, there are Happy Hour drink specials during those times. Service here is friendly and good. The waitresses and staff are always kind, and do get to know their customers that frequent the place. My only complaint is more-so about the management regarding this. On busy nights, such as Wing Night, the place will be packed and there will be 2 servers for the entire dining room. You can go 15+ minutes without speaking to your server. This can get frustrating. However, the actual servers themselves are not the issue there. This would definitely be an area for improvement. We enjoy coming to The Loose Moose. My parents come here weekly, and I have been many times since they first introduced me. The specials and prices are hard to beat. It is close to me, and food is good, and the people and staff are friendly. It gives hometown bar vibes, which can be comforting and enjoyable for a lot of people. I would recommend giving this place a try, but be patient if you come during a busy time!

I think Jessie was the only person working. If she wasn't, I'm really sorry I am overlooking the other person. I just remember interacting with Jessie each time we went to the bar. She was patient, quick, and effectively completed our drink orders. I don't know how she was handling everyone's orders so well, but she did an amazing job. She even had the energy to create a drink for me using the descriptor of "something sweet and/ or fruity." I can't recall what it was made of anymore, but I know that it was delicious enough that my other friend, who normally thinks some of my drinks are a little "too sweet," wanted one of her own after she tried a sip of mine. All in all, I'd return again if it can be guaranteed that Jessie will be our bartender, or that whoever is there was trained by Jessie to do the job. Again, no disrespect to anyone else who may have been working, but our crew remembered how great she was at taking all of our orders. To the owner, if you haven't done so in a while, I'd recommend giving her a raise. And I'll share my usual disclaimer (feel free to read prior reviews where I highlight the service): no, I don't personally know Jessie, nor did she pay me to say this. I truly did enjoy the service she gave me and my friends.

It is a great local bar that has a solid flow of regulars located in South Park. There is ample amount of parking, as the old beer distributor building that was next door was recently demolished, and thus provides a lot more parking spaces for this business. I have never once had to wait for a table to dine here upon arrival. It does get busy at times, but even then I am always able to find a space either at a table or at the bar. They have various food and drink specials each day, but we almost always come on a Monday for the Wing Night. Wings are $1.30 each, and you can order them in whatever type of quantity you wish. They are not the largest wings I have had at a Wing Night, but they are not breaded and made-to-order. So, they take a little longer than other food items. However, they always come out hot and fresh. Some of our go-to sauces include the Sweet Teriyaki, the Garlic Parmesan, Honey BBQ, and Buffalo. Typically, we always get an appetizer as well. Have tried several of them over time, but we have been getting the Trio Platter lately. This visit, we went with the Zucchini Planks, Provolone Sticks, and Mini Tacos. It comes with three sauces, so we got Ranch, Santa Fe Ranch, and Marinara. The Zucchini Planks are smaller compared to most restaurants, but not bad. I like that the platter not only comes with the choice of the appetizers, but also the sauces. Another favorite of mine is the Grilled Cheese. This particular time, the cheese was not very melted and I was not asked if I wanted tomato or any additional toppings when I ordered. I usually am asked, and I usually enjoy this item. This might have been a one-off, but this particular time it was sub-par. The prices here are fair, for the most part. Depending on what you get, the value may not be there. Additionally, they charge extra for Ranch if ordering it with the wings. When we first started coming here, there was a bartender who always worked Mondays, and we loved her. She was friendly, always remembered us when we came in, and really took care of everyone. I do not believe she is with the bar anymore, and the staff seems to rotate on Mondays now. We have not had the same level of service with any of the new Monday staff. Not that it is necessarily terrible, but makes us miss the bartender who took such good care of us from prior visits. I would recommend stopping at Park Valley for a bite to eat or to hang out. The crowd is never too large, and everyone is friendly. Plus, it is a chance to support a locally owned and operated business.
