If you truly want an intimate experience to learn all about the beer in the beer, making go to this location. Bergs aka Greg absolutely amazing! He was funny and he told us everything we ever wanted to know about the beer scene in Knoxville. My husband and I loved this place because they were very IPA heavy but also very sour/fruited/gluten-free heavy! Being from Orlando, we are only able to get one of their beers on the regular. Cocktails were well done and the wine pairings recommended astute. Nothing to complain about except some of the items were cold - there was one person serving the entire bar and restaurant and obviously had some timing issues. Also some attitude: after delivering cocktails to my wife and me he forgot her mom's - after I reminded him he said "oh I know" and then proceeded to serve four other patrons' order at the bar and then another two top's before even starting hers. It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm chalking this up to a short staffed situation and a specific individual, so if you live nearby or are traveling through looking for a nice spot for dinner or lunch I would definitely recommend. The environment is also very pleasant with a nice bar and dining room of high top tables.
