Schulz Brau had the whole ambience down, a beer hall that transports you to Germany. A wide inviting hall with share tables or more private tables if you don't want to be too social. My family got a variety of things. We got the bratwurst for our 9 year old with a side of seasoned fries. The curry wurst fries and the wiener style schnitzel with spatzle and German cucumber salad. We also had to get a pretzel because why not? The food took a little bit to come out which was understandable. In the meantime my husband and I each got a beer. The beers were fantastic. When we got our food it all was really good and came out fresh and hot. The curry wurst fries were great. The curry wasn't spicy it was more creamy with great subtle flavor on top of the crispy fries and the charred brats. The weiner style schnitzel, surprised me with how much I liked it. The light breading on the pork was nice and crispy and the lingonberry jam and lemon slice added a nice refreshing touch. The spatzle was good with the cheese sauce over it. For me the cucumber salad was the only thing I had that wasn't super good. The cucumber was fresh and the dressing on it light but it wasn't my favorite. I loved their pretzel with the cheese dip that was a mixture of Brie and cream cheese with some spices. Everything just really came out well made and tasted good. We definitely want to come back and try more things. It seems like a great place to come catch up with friends and hang with your family.
