Very cool place. Love the vintage signage to list the beers. The Monday 20 oz drink special is awesome. Outdoor seating is a plus in addition to the large number of seats available inside.

I was happy with my visit. Good beer, cool vibe, located next to a few other breweries so in my opinion good location. I liked that they sold single cans so you could try a variety without needing to buy a whole 4 pack. Nice spot!

What an absolute blast of a place to hangout at! Finally came down and checked out this bar and couldn't have had a better time! There is tons of space on their wrap-around deck with seating and walkways along the railing if you prefer to hangout outside, and if you're more in the mood to sit indoors, there is plenty of seating inside as well. You'll have tons of options for beers, and the staff here couldn't be more friendly. Outside, there is even an outdoor stage environment where they host local events and entertainment. Definitely recommend checking out this place if you haven't stopped in already.

Went to Hi-wire for a drag show . I enjoyed myself. Such great vibes. Very spacious as well.

Nice place, animal friendly. Website scan very difficult to navigate. Bartender knowledgeable, if a little short on words, but good at his job. Free table games, ping pong etc, nice to have. Try it out. You will not be disappointed. They make the most delicious sour beers. Yummy

Having taken countless trips over the mountains to Asheville, I was excited to hear HiWire was coming to nearby Knoxville. This venue is a wonderfully raucous beer circus. The noise level will tell you that much and don't be surprised to let out a mild shout occasionally. However, they have plenty of patio seating lining the back side of the building to relax. The beer menu can be seen as soon as you enter and their brews are a welcomed sight in E Tennessee. Their IPAs are stellar and they pride themselves on their lagers. Not as many dark beers but they will certainly have time to rotate the list. The "bed of nails" brown is a standout in my opinion. They also have a few Togo package beers available also. My group enjoyed the ping pong and footy-billiards in the open area. I spotted a few disc golf baskets that will get some use in the coming months as well. No TVs but I've heard they will break out a projector for the Saturday College football crowd. They have a rotating food truck schedule so that will solve the 4th beer weary eyes situation. The inside is a great wide-open rustic space to socialize. Cheers!

Dropped in on a Saturday for a few Hi-Wire IPAs. Pleasantly surprised to see Well Station BBQ setting up. Get in line early if you're hungry. Great indoor, outdoor space and easy area to park.

Not much to it. We went on a Sunday afternoon and that probably contributed to the lack of people and entertainment.

Vinny is the kind of bartender who makes you question whether you came for a drink or accidentally bought tickets to a comedy show. Within five minutes, he had us laughing harder than we expected to in a brewery. He's got this perfectly chaotic, eccentric energy--like if a stand-up comedian and a craft beer encyclopedia merged into one person. One second he's passionately explaining the notes of a hazy IPA, and the next he's roasting your drink choice in the most charming way possible. What really makes Vinny stand out is how he reads the room. He somehow knows exactly when to crack a joke, when to hype up a beer, and when to just vibe with you like you've been friends for years. It never feels forced--it's just who he is. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy spreads to everyone around him. Also, let's be clear: the beer recommendations? Elite. Vinny doesn't miss. Even if you walk in saying, "I don't really like beer," he'll hand you something that makes you rethink your entire personality. Between the incredible beer at Xul and Vinny's unmatched personality, this place is dangerously easy to stay at way longer than you planned. Came for one drink, stayed for three... and honestly, probably would've stayed for five if Vinny hadn't jokingly told us to "go home and hydrate." 10/10 experience. Vinny, if you see this--never change.

Had Vinny as my waiter and he was the BEST! Great experience! It had great drinks and great food!read more

Our pup travels everywhere with us, so finding these spots is important to us. It was very spacious too - so we weren't on top of other guests. For lunch, we got the deviled eggs to start - something that is a go-to for us. They were solid and enjoyable. For the main, we opted for the Abridged burger and the Chicken club. Both were solid as well. Fries were crispy, but a bit over-salted, and I enjoy some salt. So made a note for next time to "go light". Service was good too. There's parking out front and plenty on the streets nearby. I was in Knoxville with some friends and we decided to check out Last Days of Autumn Brewing - the storefront is a bit sketchy but don't let that fool you - the taproom is larger than it appears from the street. You walk through to reach the bar towards the back of the room. We decided on some flights to sample what was being offered. I had: * Young Nathan Jr Bitter - Session/Ordinary 4.9% ABV - Malty roasty body, well balanced sweet malt to hoppy finish note of chocolate. Fairly easy drinking. 3.8/5 * 94 Accord Pale Ale - American 4.5% ABV - Citrus notes with a somewhat bitter hoppy finish, great lacing. 3.5/5 * Oracle 25 (Galena) Pale Ale - American 5.5% ABV - Very easy drinks lager, light body with rice? I'd imagine it would be great with food as it's very neutral. 3/5 * Six Gun Sound Porter - English 4.5% ABV - Fruity medium body bitter, citrus and herbal notes with a hard stop finish. Well balanced, not much sweet malt to speak of. 3.5/5 Overall I felt like the beer was competently made but very directed towards the neighbors, that from the look of the place, were frequent visitors. Also the general ABV of what I sampled I felt were produced as accompaniment to the food being offered (the night I visited was apparently a seafood night).
