While exploring options near my new found home in TN Yelp lead me here. And I'm glad it did! First things - the exterior patio is so freaking fun! Lots of tables with shade umbrellas, a pool/fountain, lots of plants, and tons of fun & funky decor! I was absolutely going to sit outside to enjoy this! The inside of the beer house is great too - with the fun theme continued if that's more your thing. It's also important to note the beer house and restaurant are in SEPERATE buildings! Not an issue really - you just have to walk over, order, then they bring it to you. The beer house has a lot of brews on tap - local and imports! I believe there were about 24 to choose from so lots of options! You can even do flights (4 or 6) which I always do when at a new place to see what I might like a full pint of in the future. There was only one beerista to serve a long line of thirsty patrons, but she moved the line fairly quickly. The restaurant next door didn't have the same appeal as the beer joint and I'm not sure I'd find myself doing anything other than ordering food to be brought next door to me from there. Not exactly somewhere I'd like to sit and enjoy my food. (Maybe a clever ploy to get you to drink more beer - LOL) I enjoyed most of my flight for sure. As for food - I got the "famous chicken salad". The bread was nicely grilled and overall it was pretty good. But it wasn't my type of chicken salad - it was very sweet! Next time I'll opt for a pizza since they looked pretty good coming to others or some other type of sandwich. They also have live music occasionally too! So that's cool. We went as a group on Tuesday evening for trivia night. The ambience was great. A lot of street parking spots available. I got the pineapple cider which is super light and refreshing. My colleague's dark chocolate beer is so special. The pool is definitely the highlight, although the dummy is interesting. The trivia was so fun! It was a little chilly outside after it got dark and the manager guy helped us got a table indoors. Would love to come back during summer time to get some splashes. And next time will for sure get some good food. read more

My group is from out of town and we couldn't have felt more welcome. We ended up coming in trivia night (Tuesday) and had a great time! We had 3 of the pizza's Tuscan, bbq pork and all meat one and they were all good. The bbq was my favorite. The cauliflower wings were great and so were the funnel cake fries and the lava cake. They had an excellent draft selection and will help you make a choice if you can't pick. To top it off, we had difficulty getting an Uber or Lyft (repeated cancellations) so we were worried we would have to walk back to our hotel. The owner of the bar, Chris, ended up giving us a ride back to the hotel and refused any money for it. Just wonderful hospitality. Please show this place some love. If I come back to Oak Ridge, I will definitely come back here. read more

Finally gave this funky little place a try. The decor is eclectic to say the least. There is seating inside (picnic tables) and out. So, the seating is geared to groups. Would be nice to have a bar to sit and chat with the bartender if you drop in solo. There is a good selection of craft beers on tap and there is a kitchen serving food (appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and pizza). Fun atmosphere and a bonus, at least for me, was the music - hard rock and classic rock - playing while I was there. If you like beer, definitely check this place out. read more

Its starting to slip away. The dartboards are gone, trash lines the fence line. The beer selection is back to local brews and lacks inspiration or imagination. The adjacent cafe/restaurant is best summed up this way: It's Saturday night and they have no cheese sticks and no pretzels? That leaves deep fried food as the remaining options. Yuck. The music on the weekends is loud, my app tells me it's above 120Db. Hearing damage occurs at above 85Db after 20 minutes. read more

What a Rueben! Their sandwiches, panini, and pizza are always so good! The outdoor patio with live music is fun. We don't drink, and we still love going there for the food and occasional music. It's a fun atmosphere, almost like being on a beach vaca. Music is hit or miss, but the food is always yummy - and you can always sit inside the restaurant as well. read more

This review is just on the food we ordered. The ambience is great, the outdoor seating area is really cozy, the staff was friendly, and the beer options were impressive, although we did not have any tonight. We were just looking for a fun place to grab a bite before a movie and yelp led us to try this joint out. I ordered a simple BLT and fries, my husband ordered a burger. The food was beyond disappointing. Once I found the bacon on my BLT it was thin and chewy like it had been reheated or something. And there was barely any on the sandwich. My husband's hamburger tasted like a frozen patty or something you would get at a school cafeteria. His burger bun was also stale and hard on one side. The only thing that was okay were the fries and the homemade dipping sauce which had a nice kick. We did see others ordered food which looked better than what we were served, especially the pizza. If we come here again, we may give it a try. Very disappointed tonight, however. First impression was a big bust. read more

Crafters is our go-to every week. They have the best wings and pizza in town!! Everything is reasonably priced and the kitchen staff is so friendly. We have tried just about every sandwich on their menu and there is nothing that disappoints. Husbands favorite is the Cuban, while lately I have ordered the wings with the spicy Thai sauce. Getting brews right after work is pretty awesome. And on top of that, the best part of it is that the options they have here all suit my tastes in beers. This place is pretty centrally located and easy to get to along with plentiful spaces to park. I usually come here to for a quick beer after work at times and it's a great place to hang out. I've heard that Crafter's also has an active chess meetup here as well which is pretty cool, but I haven't had the chance to stop by to play. Overall, they have a pretty good selection and there's plenty of seating. The outside seating is plenty, but during the cold months I would guess that inside would be a little more packed and busier. The inside seating is a little limited, but during the 3 other seasons there's plenty of seating. Lastly, if you're hungry they provide food but you can only get it across the street at their restaurant. They serve small bar types of food. If that doesn't fancy your taste buds, then you have the choice of the food truck that's on rotation in the back. Overall, this place is great to drink at and it's just a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place if you're trying to find some custom craft beer but don't want to drive out to Hardin Valley or Knoxville. read more
