Not too often do I give out the fives but this place did it. NOT fancy but when your food is good, don't need to be. Brisket was great, Zucchini fries on point but the family brought it all together. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks for having us...

Fried mushrooms

One word...YUMMERS! Everyone is right...it is off the beaten path and a hole in the wall, but that is my kind of place. I got the ribbon fries, plain, the South Carolina dog, a cheeseburger, and fried mushrooms w/ spicey ranch. I took it to go and it even traveled well. I tried everything and everything was on point! One of the owners even offered me a sample of brisket and that did not disappoint! THE CRUST!!! Can't wait to take my son there for some brisket because he loves it! Looking forward to my next visit already! Well done! Family run, and they were ALL running it!! Great

This is a family owned out of the way place which is right up my alley. The wife and I got several things and there were some definite winners. The spicy Italian beef was very good with great flavor and super soft bun. The loaded fries were cooked to perfection. Somebody knows how to work a deep fryer. A good fry can be hard to come by. Will will return to try the various hotdogs they are known for.

Absolutely delicious brisket! We went in and were told it was a Tuesday/Saturday brisket day and it did not disappoint. We also tried the fried pickles and mushrooms which were perfect. The coleslaw was a hit and the kids sliders were perfect. I didn't get a photograph of the brisket as I gobbled it down! Cute little spot, very kind owners and amazing food. We can't wait to go back and try the pulled pork which smelled amazing. A must stop in Oak Ridge!

Nice little restaurant right off the beaten path with great, friendly customer service and delicious food!! The burger was one of the best I've had. Fries were hot and fresh. The tamale was ok, but not your traditional Mexican tamale.

YUM! I should've taken pictures before we ate, but it looked so good we couldn't wait. Everything we had was delicious! We started with the Coney and Chicago dogs, which were so good we went back and ordered the Wisconsin and Off Road dogs. The pork on the Off Road was some of the best I've had! My fave was the Wisconsin with the grilled onions and peppers. Also tried the pizza puff, which was super tasty. Get the tangy dipping sauce with it! The owners were SO friendly and the price was absolutely right too. It may be a little hidden, but it is so so worth the trip! We can't wait to go back and try more!

Great food, outstanding service! It's a little hard to find, but well worth the trip. Small family owned spot, will definitely return. Try the Carolina dog, it's great!

Just had a beef and chicago dog today, love the poppy seed buns. They make it all exactly the way they do it in Chicago.

I've had my eye on this place for a minute and finally found a moment to get over and check them…read moreout. Very please in the atmosphere and quality. They give me the authentic Chicago hot dog joint, just on the far, far, far Southside. The Chicago hot dog was authentic. Not only do they use Vienna Beef hot dogs but they use Vienna Beef poppyseed buns. That is truly legit. Also had the Italian Beef. It was good, not great, but very good. We also had an order of breaded mushrooms and onion rings. Both hit the spot. The onion rings were probably higher rated, and according to the fellas who work there, they are beer battered. And thank God they don't try to force ranch dipping with these like other spots do. Ketchup is the appropriate dipping for both shrooms and rings. Highly recommend them, will be going back. A lot.

If you want an authentic "Chicago dog" experience, the closest thing you'll get here is the foul…read moref-bomb language from the guy behind the counter. They were out of both appetizers we tried to order and were given warm cans of soda because they didn't have any in the fridge. The restaurant is small, cluttered behind the counter and we literally watched the manager (owner maybe?) stand at the front counter taste-testing a vendor's hot sauces; pulling apart a bun and eating at the front counter has to be a health code violation. Just gross. In my best Randy Jackson voice, "It's a no for me, dog," on this hotdog joint.
