Great little family run business. Good food, their fried pies when they have them are out of this world.

I have always been a fan of Penn Station. I was excited to see one going in close to home. I…read moreordered a Cheesesteak and My Wife ordered a Grilled Turkey Provolone. My excitement started fading quickly after I arrived to pick up my order. You see, I was disappointed in myself because I was almost 20 minutes late. I was worried about the freshness of my order. I waited in the line marked "order pick up" noticing that my sandwiches were sitting on the counter. After being ignored by all 4 employees for over 5 minutes (including 1 that was standing within 3 feet of me) I said something to get some attention. She politely explained that the fries just went down. What? I thought to myself. It was supposed to be ready 20 minutes ago. Oh well, at least the fries will be fresh, and it was, after all, partially my fault for being late. However, the Cheesesteak with extra steak and cheese will soon be a block of cheese just sitting there on the counter. What I didn't understand is why I was still waiting after the fries had finished cooking. All I could think of what that cheesesteak sitting on the counter. Another 5 minutes passed before I approached the counter again. The employee stepped up and explained that "it is almost ready." I said those fries are almost ready? Pointing to the full bin of fries that they just filled an order out of. She said nothing, turned around, finally filled my order, then turned back to me and explained that she had "forgotten all about me. I was 1 of only 2 people in the place at the time of that comment. At least she was telling the truth. The entire time I was in there I felt ignored and forgotten. Two ladies waiting on their order made it clear to me that they felt the same way....... Finally home and time to unveil the sandwiches and eat. The Grilled Turkey Provolone is described as "Oven-roasted turkey breast, provolone, lettuce, Roma tomato YOUR CHOICE: mayo, spicy brown mustard, honey mustard." I guess they misspelled the words "Your Choice" because it should have read "Their Choice." I say that because they decided to leave the lettuce and roma tomato off the sandwich entirely. While I was waiting for my order a guy came back in the store with his bag because his order was also wrong. They had given him toppings he asked to leave off. I think anything but meat and cheese confuses this crew. Toppings seem to be where they struggle. As mentioned above, I ordered extra steak and extra cheese on my sub. I had to look for the steak in this roll of bread. Glad I ordered extra because regular amounts would have led to a bread sandwich with the smell of steak at best. I have been to Penn Stations in four different states, and they were all consistent. Until this one. I don't even recognize this as Penn Station. If you would have handed me that Cheesesteak without me knowing where it was from and told me it was Penn Station, I'd have called you a liar. Disappointing meal to say the least. The service was terrible, and the quality control was nowhere to be found. This all points to a subpar staff which is usually caused by lack of training from poor management. This place is newly opened, and they need to get it together fast or it will be quickly closed.

I asked for no ham and no mayo. Sandwich had both. I took the receipt in with the sandwich and she actually looked over the receipt like I didn't know what I'd ordered. Very insulting. No "I'm sorry about that" , nothing. Sandwich was remade and again the box was filthy. That must be this locations signature. Sandwich was ok at best. I ate half and threw the rest away. Will not be back. Will not recommend to others.

Early '90s couple of former firefighters in Jacksonville Florida decided the branch off into the sandwich chain. Originally started in the Jacksonville area franchise quickly but it didn't go very good and they bought back all the locations. They would thrive for many years in Florida Firehouse of course has fire station theme kind of things which makes it very unique same with the titles of their food and everything else. They would try a different marketing angle bringing in a investment group and the different kind of expansion. Continue to grow fairly well for the most part They're also in other countries not just America Puerto Rico, Switzerland and Canada. are found in two Florida airports Jacksonville and Orlando. Western New England University they also opened a location on campus. Expansions continue with over 50 in Ontario alone wanting to get to 90 more through Canada I came in and I ordered up one of my favorites that I used to really enjoy the New York steamer. Because I am a huge fan of corned beef and pastrami. One of these times I'll try a different sandwich one time allows and one of their salads this is a nice location.. it's an easy walk from the truck stop a few extra steps but it's okay very clean. The staff are very nice. Everything was very well presented and I enjoyed my food very much so this visit here and review gets four stars definitely above average for sure in my opinion.
