There isn't a better hot dog anywhere! There is just something different about the Royal's chili. Maybe it's because most of my dad's family uses a similar recipe. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would, they have some of the best hot dogs, fries, chicken fingers, sandwiches and salads in La Follette, Tennessee, every time I come here, even though I've only been here a few times, the staff is very friendly and they give me great service every time, and the place has a nice interior design, one day I'll bring some more people with me and we can play 8-Ball pool here, the restrooms are very nice and clean here too, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in Campbell County or any tourist who happens to drive through, I will definitely be back here, This is money well spent read more

Well, It's been a while since Old Pa and I went on a burger run so here goes. Met at Billy Joe's for a cut and decided that lunch would be at The Royal Lunch today. I have had this place in the back of my mind to try out for some time. First impression upon walking in was that I loved the atmosphere. This is My type of place. We decided to pony up to the bar and were greated by a couple employees right off. Finished scanning the menu about the time our waitress asked for our order. Royal Burger and Fries for me. Pa decided he was going with 2 Classic Hot Dogs and Fries. It took a bit for our food to arrive but nothing out of line considering the place was slammed. I think the entire LaFollette Fire Dept was there this afternoon. From first impression to the last bite The Royal Burger was awesome. Best burger in Campbell County as far as I'm concerned. Pa loved the dogs too. I can only imagine that their Chili/Meat Sauce is amazing because everybody was ordering this stuff on everything. It's definitely on my list to try next time I come back. Great meal, great atmosphere, great service. Can't believe it took so long to try The Royal Lunch. Won't take long to come back. read more

Stood outside door at 6:50 AM as 'OPEN' hour posted on door was 6:30am. Worker saw me from beginning as she put foods on grill. I waited until 7:05 am, so as not to interrupt. I taped on door @ 7:05 and ask 'are you serving'. She fingered 7:30. I ask why she had not advised as she saw me standing there and that was poor service. Response: ' So What '. Wife and I were regulars at this establishment until the last two visits. Did not get any kind of acknowledgement either time. Last time 8/3/19 @ 1pm didn't even get to order. Customer's that arrived after us got waited on before us. After ten minutes and no notice we were even sitting there we left.
