The waitress told us to grab a seat wherever we wanted. She was quick on taking our drink order. After reviewing the menu we decided on the lunch special & a capri salad. Our capri salad arrived & looked appetizing. After our first bite we looked at each & said "it's not Florence". The tomatoes did not have flavor, drizzle of olive oil was light & very light balsamic vinegar. The lunch special of 2 slices with 2 toppings was outstanding, even with a big flop. It's big enough for two people or tomorrow's lunch. Will go again, maybe for dinner.

It's very open and spacious in the brewery. And now that I know it's dog-friendly, the pup will be coming with us next time!. They have bands occasionally, too - so make sure you check the schedule. We arrived one night, and the band was sold out - so we had to leave, but had just enough time to have a brew and a pie. So check in before heading that way to ensure you can indeed get in. It can get busy, and the line can get long - so be prepared, and you might want to get two at a time those nights. As for the food, I have to say the Greek salad was AMAZING. Super fresh, zingy dressing. Just so good. The pizza was decent - nice thin crust and fresh toppings. Will it go down as the best pizza you've had - nah, but it goes good with a cold brew. Overall solid place.

Hmmmm, I really wanted to love this place as it's in my hood, but I was kinda let down…read more The staff when we went were super young and seemed a lot were new so I was trying to be patient. But the sweet girl taking orders didn't really know what she was doing and put in our order a bit wrong. The couple in front of us had their order messed up too. The interior of the place wasn't that inviting or clean, but we opted to eat in anyway. But IF we go back that won't be happening. My husband got a basic cheese pizza because that's how he judges all pizza places the first time around. It was just OK to him. I got the pickle chips since they were 'breaded in-house' and the BBQ Burger. The pickle chips were so over-seasoned and salty I couldn't even eat them - and I LOVE salt. What a shame. The only redeeming thing was the burger and fries. While the burger didn't have what it was supposed to on it and you don't get the option on the temperature of the meat, it was still a good burger. The fries were also super crispy and fluffy inside. So pretty hit-and-miss for me. I'm going to have to think twice before I go back.

While they DO have hibachi…read moregoodies that can be served on a specialty pizza, note that most of their menu is served as individual, more traditional items (like hibachi, a burger, or pizza...not all meshed together). This place was a bit of a hike for us but so worth it for the delicious pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, garlic knots, and deluxe hibachi that comes with beef, chicken, and shrimp and a side salad and soup. If we were rating this place on the pizza and knots alone-5 stars all day long. The crust is so light, chewy and flavorful. The garlic knots actually remind me of the super unique rolls at the local Brazilian steakhouse. They have an outer chew but the inside is so soft that it almost melts in your mouth. The hibachi was...okay. My first bite of the entire meal was the beef and it was unfortunately so chewy that it was inedible. I crossed my fingers it was just that one piece. Nope. Our family ended up discarding every piece of beef, which was an expensive disappointment. The shrimp and chicken were tasty but overshadowed by the sea of onions and mushrooms. We were grateful for the salad and soup, although we couldn't distinguish what the soup was meant to be. My kiddo asked what the hot, brown salt water was. :-) The ginger salad was iceberg lettuce with a very thick, chunky ginger dressing. If that's your thing, rock on! For hibachi, we will probably stick with Fuji. In general, we will be back for the pizza soon and look forward to trying the burgers, which we've heard are great.

The pizza here is consistently fantastic, which is why we continue to come back. Unfortunately, the…read moreservice timing has become a recurring frustration for us. On several visits, we have specifically requested that our garlic cheese bread and salad arrive before the pizza so we can actually enjoy the appetizer and salad course first. Tonight, we again had a very clear conversation about this request, yet everything arrived in the exact opposite order. What was most frustrating was being told that "the pizza comes out when the pizza comes out," as though there is no ability for the front staff and kitchen to coordinate timing. In an open-concept restaurant where the order staff and kitchen are working side by side, it seems like simple communication could easily solve this issue. We truly enjoy the food and want this restaurant to succeed, but proper pacing of a meal is part of good dining service. Appetizers and salads should enhance the experience -- not arrive simultaneously with or after the main course. We hope management will take this constructively because the food deserves service that matches its quality

Hands Down, One of the Best Pizza Restaurants in the U.S.!…read more I'm not kidding, this place is that good! It rivals some of the best pizza we've had in Italy, and it's right here in Knoxville, Tennessee! HINT: Make sure you have reservations! We went on a Thursday night and the place was absolutely packed. Thankfully, we had reservations! Once we were seated, we cooled down with an ice-cold beer and got started with Sourdough & Olive Oil, simple, but incredibly good. Then came the Mozzarella and a Special Pâté & Pickle Plate, which included a Mushroom & Pistachio Pâté. WOW! That pâté was crazy good! If you like getting outside your comfort zone and trying something different, this is a MUST. My son and I love to venture out and try new things, so we decided to take it up a notch and ordered the Trust Fall. They basically take over and create two pizzas with random toppings for you. What a cool concept! And let me tell you... SO, SO, SO GOOD! They even created our starter for us and paired everything with a bottle of wine. The whole experience was fun, creative, and completely different from your typical pizza restaurant. We also ordered the Sofia, a Pepperoni, and another pizza whose name escapes me. Every single one was AMAZING! And here's another HINT... DON'T EAT TOO MUCH! You're going to want room for the homemade Gelato! It is fantastic. One tip: If you already know you want a favorite flavor, especially Chocolate, order it with your meal. They can run out of the popular flavors. If you order it early, they'll scoop it up and save it in the freezer for you. Now THAT is service! Service was amazing. The pizzas were incredible. The concept was creative and fun. The gelato was the perfect finish. I honestly believe these are some of the best pizzas in the United States! If you live in Knoxville, or you're coming into town for a Vols football game , what are you waiting for?! GET YOUR RESERVATION IN NOW! You will not regret it. Cheers!
