Beware ... I took my projector to Atlas to be analyzed. Projector had a yellow light when projecting ... the diagnostic fee is $25 which I happily paid. After a few days Atlas called to say there was a problem with the mother board and the cost to repair would be $300. I decided to buy a new projector and went to pick up old projector at Atlas ... I decided to continue troubleshooting the yellow light ... I read that it might be due to faulty VGA cord to computer. I tested a new VGA cord and the problem is solved. The light is yellow with the old VGA cord and perfect with the new cord. read more

These guys are great. Have bought replacement lamps for our DLP tv here in the past. Today needed a new color wheel. Wanted to do myself (replacing the lamp is easy) but this was a little more daunting. Only charged $60 for the labor. And, they showed me how to do it so next time I can do it myself. This place is not good dont go there find a different place they quote you with a crazy price to fix your electronics they do that so you can just forget about the repair and just buy a new one but before they take good parts off and put bad ones . I took my 55 inches tv to their shop the TV was blinking 7 times when I dropped and after I decided not to pay the crazy amount for repair I decided to take it home but I noticed it was blinking 8 times instead of 7 times so that means a totally different code means they probably swap parts this people are not honest stay away from this place . read more

At first they told me my projector was not broken, then I came to pick it up and it changed to "unfixalbe." Then they tried a strong arm sale on a used projector that was worth about $50, but they were pitching it for $600. Would not trust these guys. read more

Wow! These guys are repair Wizards. Have an older subsurface surveying instrument. Factory said they no longer make them, so they no longer fix them. Found out about Atlas on a website. Mailed them the locator and they called me a few days after I mailed it. Said they could repair it and the price was reasonable (much less than buying a new one). This place is a rip off. I bought a DLP bulb from the elderly man and I should have questioned that it was in an open package but did not. My mistake. When I drove back home (1 hr drive) and tried replacing the old bulb it did not work. The next day I drove back an hour to return it with the 90 day return policy and the younger man accused me of trying to return a used bulb. The elderly man that sold it to me was not there to back me up. I have filed a BBB complaint and of course the younger guy again accused me of trying to return a used bulb. My 60" plasma lost connection with my receiver and was getting a no signal. I found Atlas on Yelp with great reviews so I thought I could trust getting an honest opinion from a technician. When talking to a technician on the phone they quickly knew it was the TV not the receiver. Instead of buying a new plasma for $2k, they diagnosed it to be the HDMI board which was going to cost around 10% of the cost to buy a new plasma. The repair resolved my issue and confident I can get another 3-4 years out of my TV. They called me the same day with the diagnosis and estimated cost and the total turn around time was just 3 days because they had to order a part. The staff was very friendly and they were quick to help me unload the large heavy TV right when I pulled up. I will definitely return to Atlas for any future electronic repairs or advice and may consider checking out their refurbished electronic devices before buying new because I now trust their quality work. read more

Do not take your device to these people. If you are an informed consumer run fast. I gave these ruthless thugs my TV three weeks ago. The problems started as soon at they received payment. A mislabeled my TV into their system was the first concern. After an official diagnosis and estimate for repair, which was very high. I informed the tech that I located the parts from the manufacturer three times cheaper than he quoted . I was screamed at and cursed by the thug of a technician " go buy your own damn parts". After the disrespect i asked if I acquired the parts would he install them and what was his labor cost? He hung up. I called back worried and told him to just fix it at the agreed cost. (Their tactic- Take your TV, tell you its hopeless, and tax the hell out of you in what might be an emotional moment for you.) Three weeks later and three estimates later, my TV is still broken because of the lack of respect for their customer. I made a surprice visit and enquired about my device and was told I was stupid and that he would right it down on a chalk board. Told him i m asking question for clarity not disrespect i was told to get out of his store. I tool another person with to serve as a witness in case they tried some silly stuff. They were so busy disrespecting me they had not noticed the person sitting in one of their chairs observing the complete exchange. Bottom line. If you a concerned about their trusty worthiness, and a companies integrity do not take your device there. I am a 42 year old College educated, tax paying, Dessert Storm and Bosnia U.S. Navy Veteran, I urge you to take your business to a place who will that will treat you with the respect and honor you expect. I had taken my smart tv to Atlas for repair and was greeted by very courteous and helpful personnel!!! A gentleman even showed me the work area and how they do the work. I come from a semiconductor quality control background and they were very organized and clean! John Khoury helped me move the tv from my truck and I was very grateful because I had just had back surgery. This company is very customer service friendly which I wished more would be like them! They answered all my questions and were willing to work with and help you! The work performed was excellent! The most important quality that impressed me the most is the customer service and courtesy. Politeness and Courteousness is a rare quality today and Atlas has shown both! I took my 65" Mitsubishi DLP to Atlas because I had shopped there twice over the years for replacement lamps. They apparently have every lamp imaginable in stock (5 stars). This is a disheveled shop but that doesn't bother me. It usually means that there is a technician or owner that really knows his trade there. My problem description was that the blacks are glowing and the whites are bleeding into the blacks like viewing the image through a light fog. I picked up the set a couple of days later and was told nothing was wrong. I even asked the repair tech directly. He said "Everything's okay. We couldn't find anything wrong" I wasn't charged the $25.00 estimate fee. I was amazed that they couldn't see the 'glaring' issue. After some research in a forum, There is one internal lens that gets a coating built up on it that is not dust. Following the instructions, I removed the light engine and opened it and cleaned the quarter-sized splotch from the lens with a disposable lens wipe. The picture is totally restored now. No halos or foggy whites. Just pure blacks. This took me 1-1/2 hours carefully reading the instructions. A professional could do it in half that time. I would have paid a couple of hundred bucks to get this done by someone. I'm disappointed that they didn't even acknowledge the problem. And that guy is calibrating sets? Here is how it's done guys. expert service. diagnosed problem before driving an hour to store.have a 9 year old samsung 72" dlp in pristine condition. flashing indicator lights on front did not correspond to owner's manual description. purchased a new lamp that was in stock. all oem bulb equipment which is extremely important in proper picture quality. I took my plasma TV here hoping to get the replacement board it needed ordered and installed but after weeks of waiting for this part to get in I gave up on these guys. I called them several times on the status of the part only to be told every time it was on back order and that's all I was ever told. When I gave up and decided to go pick up my TV the young guy who works there brought it out and put it down and promptly walked away without offering any help to carry it out of their store. I thought after reading all their positive reviews from other people this would be a good place to get my old plasma serviced but it did not turn out good for me at all. I heard they were the best in town so I took an Infocus projector for repair because the picture was flickering. They replaced the lamp for $250. The picture is till flickering and now is also dim around the edges. I took the unit back and was told I'd have to pay another $25 diagnostic fee because there must be something else wrong with the unit...Duh. After a supposed diagnosis, someone with moussed hair and an arrogant attitude told me the power supply was bad and would cost $300-$400. Really?? If the power supply was bad the lamp wouldn't still be running. I think they have enough business and don't really care anymore. read more

Very good experience with Atlas. I took our 75" Samsung for repair when the power supply board went out and recommend them enthusiastically. John (owner) could not have been better to work with. My time is very limited and I asked if it could be expedited and he actually completed the repair in under an hour and at a very fair price. (I had a quote from another shop closer to home at nearly DOUBLE the cost with a 10 day turnaround!) I believe that Atlas is an authorized repair center and evidently they have extensive parts on hand. Atlas has a really friendly staff, is fairly priced and very professionally run. I have a samsung dlp big screen tv. Replaced the lamp thinking that was the problem. Was not so after some research decided it was the ballast. Took it to Atlas Electronics and they tested the ballast and it was good. They asked me to bring the tv in and they would test the color wheel. That is what they thought it would be. Sure enough it was the color wheel they installed in less than 15 minutes good price help me solve a problem instead of selling me a ballast and then having to buy a color wheel too. These guys are the best in the business! My first experience with these guys was about a year ago. I took in a TV assuming it was shot but I was referred to these guys by a friend and decided to give them a try. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and soon after met by a technician who was very professional and straight forward which was refreshing. He said he would diagnose the issue and contact me with what he found. Only a few hours later I received a call from them. They had identified the issue, told me what needed to be done (which was order parts), and let me decided how to I wanted to proceed. I had previously stated I needed it done quickly but when they called 24 hours later I was shocked. I had a TV working like new in 1 day. I have since used them recently and had just as great of an experience as the first time.
