These guys are great. Have bought replacement lamps for our DLP tv here in the past. Today needed a new color wheel. Wanted to do myself (replacing the lamp is easy) but this was a little more daunting. Only charged $60 for the labor. And, they showed me how to do it so next time I can do it myself. Hopefully won't have to. They promise to beat the parts prices of anyone in DFW. Also sell refurbished TVs at really good prices. Before you drop serious $ at a big box store you should see their large selection. read more

Beware ... I took my projector to Atlas to be analyzed. Projector had a yellow light when projecting ... the diagnostic fee is $25 which I happily paid. After a few days Atlas called to say there was a problem with the mother board and the cost to repair would be $300. I decided to buy a new projector and went to pick up old projector at Atlas ... I decided to continue troubleshooting the yellow light ... I read that it might be due to faulty VGA cord to computer. I tested a new VGA cord and the problem is solved. The light is yellow with the old VGA cord and perfect with the new cord. read more

We had a projector lamp go out over super bowl weekend - really inconvenient to say the least! I called Atlas Electronics on Sunday afternoon a few hours before the game and got no answer and by looking at yelp it looked like they were closed. Well, the guy who runs the place called me back and chatted with me about my needs. He was the only place in town I could find all weekend that actually had a replacement lamp in-stock and he offered to meet me at his shop even though he was technically closed. He went above and beyond to take care of my needs and advise me of the choices he had for replacement lamps. I was really impressed with his patience and customer service - even on a sunday (his day off) just an hour or so before the super bowl! Thank you so much for your help! read more

At first they told me my projector was not broken, then I came to pick it up and it changed to "unfixalbe." Then they tried a strong arm sale on a used projector that was worth about $50, but they were pitching it for $600. Would not trust these guys. read more

Great place with excellent prices and very helpful associates. I will recommend Atlas to all of my friends and family.

Very professional, prompt, capable of diagnosing and fixing any electronic equipment. Thank you for fixing my Tv

These guys know their stuff! Took a while to get fixed and communication is pretty poor BUT like I said they know their stuff. Fixed my tv and DVD player and price was fair. If you have the time try em out. read more

This place is not good dont go there find a different place they quote you with a crazy price to fix your electronics they do that so you can just forget about the repair and just buy a new one but before they take good parts off and put bad ones . I took my 55 inches tv to their shop the TV was blinking 7 times when I dropped and after I decided not to pay the crazy amount for repair I decided to take it home but I noticed it was blinking 8 times instead of 7 times so that means a totally different code means they probably swap parts this people are not honest stay away from this place . read more

I took a brand new karaoke machine in May of the year to Atlas repair shop due to a short in the speakers. I would call & visit Atlas for updates & I would be told we are waiting on parts from China all the way up until January of the next year. Covid pandemic started around February. I was unable to reach a live person. I called in March, April, then visited the store in May. They told me they had no record of me or my karaoke machine & could not help me. I left. I visited again & same thing. I told them I wanted my karaoke machine & they told me it went to a warehouse & was gone from there. They never called or communicated they received the parts or that I needed to come pick it up or anything. One employee told me he was going to build me another karaoke & he was to call me when he was completed. Never a phone call or communication from Atlas. I called again & was told by receptionist that she would look into it & call me back. Atlas never did. Now I'm out of my karaoke that I only had a month, the $25 I gave to Atlas to look at the karaoke before they stole it from me & my own dignity for them taking advantage of me & lying to me all those months! This is a sorry, dirty, low down repair shop! I will never use their service again. Nor would I recommend them to anyone! read more

Took TV back after a new issue came up after I got home. They could not replicate problem. TV seems fine now. They were great about resolving the problem under warranty of their repairs! read more

This place is a rip off. I bought a DLP bulb from the elderly man and I should have questioned that it was in an open package but did not. My mistake. When I drove back home (1 hr drive) and tried replacing the old bulb it did not work. The next day I drove back an hour to return it with the 90 day return policy and the younger man accused me of trying to return a used bulb. The elderly man that sold it to me was not there to back me up. I have filed a BBB complaint and of course the younger guy again accused me of trying to return a used bulb. I will swear on my first Grand child's life that I returned the bulb they sold me. read more

Wow! These guys are repair Wizards. Have an older subsurface surveying instrument. Factory said they no longer make them, so they no longer fix them. Found out about Atlas on a website. Mailed them the locator and they called me a few days after I mailed it. Said they could repair it and the price was reasonable (much less than buying a new one). They got it done and back to me in one week. Hard to find good techs like Atlas nowadays. I recommend them 100% read more

I live north of Lake Lewisville and it is well worth the trip to get excellent service from John and Sam. They are a wonderful place and go above and beyond when it comes to helping their customers. I wish more businesses could learn from them. Customer for life! read more

My 60" plasma lost connection with my receiver and was getting a no signal. I found Atlas on Yelp with great reviews so I thought I could trust getting an honest opinion from a technician. When talking to a technician on the phone they quickly knew it was the TV not the receiver. Instead of buying a new plasma for $2k, they diagnosed it to be the HDMI board which was going to cost around 10% of the cost to buy a new plasma. The repair resolved my issue and confident I can get another 3-4 years out of my TV. They called me the same day with the diagnosis and estimated cost and the total turn around time was just 3 days because they had to order a part. The staff was very friendly and they were quick to help me unload the large heavy TV right when I pulled up. I will definitely return to Atlas for any future electronic repairs or advice and may consider checking out their refurbished electronic devices before buying new because I now trust their quality work. read more

If I could I wish this business was not in business worst customer service talking to people with disrespect telling them to shut up and walk out their store when they had known first that my tv was not repairable they still Charger to just look at and tell me it was not besides that I pick my tv today and they yet give me the remote control that's not the right one who it was their fault for misplacing it having to make 3 trips to get a control and the guy assaulting me read more

So very happy to know a place in Irving that doesn't want o tip you off. Growing up in Las Colinas it feels like half the places think money is indespensible and don't really focus on service or fixing the problem because they assume we grow money and will be back. atlas does not do that. Their knowledge, pricing, skills, and parts have saved a lot of time and money for me. I am so blessed to have found s place that actually cares and more importantly gets the job done!!!! Yay!!!! read more

The owner of this place "John" and the receptionist have atrocious attitudes and just gave bad service. Overpriced and very unappreciative of the business I gave them. read more

Most impeccable, and efficient work delivered in the shortest amount of time so you don't lose any business. I have taken a couple of my laser machines and my microderm machine to them and received them back working like brand new. The staff here is exceptionally friendly, and thoroughly knowledge regardless who the manufacturer of my equipment is. I will also say they were TEN TIMES more reliable than the company from whom I purchased my laser device; which is valued at *six* figures by the way, which Atlas was able to bring back to life :) Thanks for everything guys!! read more

Do not take your device to these people. If you are an informed consumer run fast. I gave these ruthless thugs my TV three weeks ago. The problems started as soon at they received payment. A mislabeled my TV into their system was the first concern. After an official diagnosis and estimate for repair, which was very high. I informed the tech that I located the parts from the manufacturer three times cheaper than he quoted . I was screamed at and cursed by the thug of a technician " go buy your own damn parts". After the disrespect i asked if I acquired the parts would he install them and what was his labor cost? He hung up. I called back worried and told him to just fix it at the agreed cost. (Their tactic- Take your TV, tell you its hopeless, and tax the hell out of you in what might be an emotional moment for you.) Three weeks later and three estimates later, my TV is still broken because of the lack of respect for their customer. I made a surprice visit and enquired about my device and was told I was stupid and that he would right it down on a chalk board. Told him i m asking question for clarity not disrespect i was told to get out of his store. I tool another person with to serve as a witness in case they tried some silly stuff. They were so busy disrespecting me they had not noticed the person sitting in one of their chairs observing the complete exchange. Bottom line. If you a concerned about their trusty worthiness, and a companies integrity do not take your device there. I am a 42 year old College educated, tax paying, Dessert Storm and Bosnia U.S. Navy Veteran, I urge you to take your business to a place who will that will treat you with the respect and honor you expect. I drove 25 miles to fine you all and ill drive 50 miles to find any one who is not your business. Thanks Buddy! read more

I had taken my smart tv to Atlas for repair and was greeted by very courteous and helpful personnel!!! A gentleman even showed me the work area and how they do the work. I come from a semiconductor quality control background and they were very organized and clean! John Khoury helped me move the tv from my truck and I was very grateful because I had just had back surgery. This company is very customer service friendly which I wished more would be like them! They answered all my questions and were willing to work with and help you! The work performed was excellent! The most important quality that impressed me the most is the customer service and courtesy. Politeness and Courteousness is a rare quality today and Atlas has shown both! Lastly the prices were very good! I highly recommend Atlas for Electronic repairs. It is hard to find an honest and trustworthy place of business! Thank you Atlas. I will be doing future business and tell my friends of your place of business! Sincerely yours....Des Fong. read more

I took my 65" Mitsubishi DLP to Atlas because I had shopped there twice over the years for replacement lamps. They apparently have every lamp imaginable in stock (5 stars). This is a disheveled shop but that doesn't bother me. It usually means that there is a technician or owner that really knows his trade there. My problem description was that the blacks are glowing and the whites are bleeding into the blacks like viewing the image through a light fog. I picked up the set a couple of days later and was told nothing was wrong. I even asked the repair tech directly. He said "Everything's okay. We couldn't find anything wrong" I wasn't charged the $25.00 estimate fee. I was amazed that they couldn't see the 'glaring' issue. After some research in a forum, There is one internal lens that gets a coating built up on it that is not dust. Following the instructions, I removed the light engine and opened it and cleaned the quarter-sized splotch from the lens with a disposable lens wipe. The picture is totally restored now. No halos or foggy whites. Just pure blacks. This took me 1-1/2 hours carefully reading the instructions. A professional could do it in half that time. I would have paid a couple of hundred bucks to get this done by someone. I'm disappointed that they didn't even acknowledge the problem. And that guy is calibrating sets? Here is how it's done guys. And this post is almost three years old. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1148792&pp=30 read more

I had a great experience when I had an issue with two TV's due to a power surge. I was nervous that they weren't going to be able to be repaired or it was going to cost a fortune. John treated me very fair and this was definitely worth the extra few minutes driving. They gave me a quote and stuck to it and everything is working great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

I took my plasma TV here hoping to get the replacement board it needed ordered and installed but after weeks of waiting for this part to get in I gave up on these guys. I called them several times on the status of the part only to be told every time it was on back order and that's all I was ever told. When I gave up and decided to go pick up my TV the young guy who works there brought it out and put it down and promptly walked away without offering any help to carry it out of their store. I thought after reading all their positive reviews from other people this would be a good place to get my old plasma serviced but it did not turn out good for me at all. Next time I go with an authorized service provider only. read more

I heard they were the best in town so I took an Infocus projector for repair because the picture was flickering. They replaced the lamp for $250. The picture is till flickering and now is also dim around the edges. I took the unit back and was told I'd have to pay another $25 diagnostic fee because there must be something else wrong with the unit...Duh. After a supposed diagnosis, someone with moussed hair and an arrogant attitude told me the power supply was bad and would cost $300-$400. Really?? If the power supply was bad the lamp wouldn't still be running. I think they have enough business and don't really care anymore. read more

Very good experience with Atlas. I took our 75" Samsung for repair when the power supply board went out and recommend them enthusiastically. John (owner) could not have been better to work with. My time is very limited and I asked if it could be expedited and he actually completed the repair in under an hour and at a very fair price. (I had a quote from another shop closer to home at nearly DOUBLE the cost with a 10 day turnaround!) I believe that Atlas is an authorized repair center and evidently they have extensive parts on hand. Atlas has a really friendly staff, is fairly priced and very professionally run. Strongly recommended. read more

Couldn't ask for a better experience. Well organized shop and the Atlas team are obviously the real deal. They were honest and transparent about the Epson Projector I brought in for repair. I have a samsung dlp big screen tv. Replaced the lamp thinking that was the problem. Was not so after some research decided it was the ballast. Took it to Atlas Electronics and they tested the ballast and it was good. They asked me to bring the tv in and they would test the color wheel. That is what they thought it would be. Sure enough it was the color wheel they installed in less than 15 minutes good price help me solve a problem instead of selling me a ballast and then having to buy a color wheel too.
