I was properly greeted as soon as I walked into the store. After Leo at the front desk saw my iPhone's condition he provided a repair quote for battery and screen replacement. I was so relieved he told me they are well-stocked with all the parts necessary. I was originally told it would take about an hour and a half for the repair to be done. I was willing to wait so I did. I was offered bottled water to drink. Within a few minutes Leo told me that he assigned my repair to the technician and gave it priority since I was waiting. Now that's great Customer Service. I can testify I only waited about 10 minutes and within that time frame Leo came back to tell me my iPhone X was finished being repaired. Such a pleasant surprise in today's climate to be treated like a valued customer. I was given courteous treatment and priority as a customer in their store. Summarizing, it is so refreshing that Repair Republic is a local Oak Cliff business which treats customers with respect and provides expert and fast repairs. He "fixed" the phone and I got it back the following day and I sent the phone off to be traded in. Soon after the phone stopped working and the screen began flashing a green light and my trade in denied and I was sent back the phone. I'm writing this review because the owner of the store was unwilling to look at my phone without charging me again for the questionable work that he performed on it. He insinuated that I damaged the phone again rather than consider his work to have been faulty. I suspect he used aftermarket parts on my iPhone or did not install it properly which caused it to malfunction. Now I know why he offered me a reasonable price. The quality of his work will not last and you'll be out of your phone. I also suspect he did not properly assess the damage of the phone and only fixed parts of the problem. Take your business elsewhere. The customer service was extremely poor and disrespectful. The owner would not even listen to understand the problem before accusing me of breaking the phone again.

Definitely do not recommend…read more They fixed my daughter's phone for $215. She started getting error messages right away, saying it was not a comparable device. When we asked about it, they said that's normal. (Incredibly annoying!) Then, shortly after she got a strange color blotch on the upper right corner. We didn't think much of it Bc they offer a "lifetime warranty". We took the phone back today at 10:45. They were supposed to open at 10 but no one was there & it was locked. Called the # & they said they were running late. We continued to wait until the guy showed up. He looked at the phone & said it isn't their fault & that they would need another $180 to fix the problem. He claimed that he thought it was because maybe my daughter sat on the phone. I explained to him that I weigh a lot more than my daughter and I said on my iPhone daily, and have never had the issue. He said, "Well, you have an original screen". I told him that I didn't realize that the screen that they replaced it with wouldn't be similar to the original quality of the screen, & he just shrugged his shoulders. I told him that we already spent a lot of money on the screen & didn't want to pay $180 more. He said he couldn't help us under warranty & suggested that my daughter "go be more careful with her phone". Place stinks. Would never use them again. Headed to buy a new phone now. Wish I had never wasted time or money here.

Both cameras worked when I handed them to him to repair, and wasn't working 20-minutes later when he gave them back. He said it would cost $15 each to replace the cameras on the phones to make them operational again. I declined --and that was 3 months ago. Last week the front of the phone fell off because I guess the glue got old in 3-months, and I saw the reason the camera didn't work. There was a bunch of dust on the camera lens. I cleaned the camera lens, then took the phone to be re-glued at a different repair place. My camera now works on that phone. CommCentral was trying to scam me out of $15 on each phone, when all they would've done is wiped away dust --and how did it get dusty?
