Becauses of that and what I have discovered as a result of this experience about Triple AAA not taking responsibility for arranging a tow with a tow company with an F+ Rating tand classified as not reputable that did expensive damage. While Triple AAA has been told by the insurance company that they had to pay the $1,000 deductable they have not done so,. I have received two calls by somebody who represents Triple AAA who has bullied me into believing that they are not liable for arranging a tow with an incompetent towing company instead of paying the $1,000 deductable as they should for engaging such a horrible incompent towing Company. Geico insurance did not do their part either. Consequently, I did not renew my Triple AAA service and have become insured by another insurance company once it became clear that Geico is an insurance company more interested in insuring clients for their maximum profit and not an auto insurance company who insures you in a way they are looking out for your best interests. Same is tru of Triple AAA given the way they have refused to take responsibility for having arranged a tow with a towing company that is not reputable or qulified to do a tow. What has occured in JUne of 2026 is proof.

I don't…read moreknow much about mechanics in the area and was unfortunate enough to have my car break down on 302, the day before a long driving trip to Tennessee. As I slowly rolled into a nearby parking lot, I immediately called AAA for a tow (these guys are the local AAA towing company). I didn't know what the issue was but my car was overheating and the engine light had gone on. Arghhhhh!!! It was 4:30 on Sunday and I knew, that in Maine, there are no late night car repair shops (I'm from Ohio where you can find someone to work on your car until midnight). I opened the hood and sure enough the belt to my water pump had broken (later I learned the water pump had gone bad causing the belt to split). So I sat there and waited. A series of events happened that don't pertain to this business, but eventually the tow truck driver showed up (I think his name was Bobby?) and he helped me out. We ended up taking my car to their repair shop. I was going on faith that I would have a good experience and that they could get my car fixed ASAP, the next day, so we could hit the road. I knew nothing about these guys other than they were close local and that "Bobby" worked for them. Well it wasn't quite ASAP, but they did get my car running the next day and they did a great job making sure it was road worthy again. I had a good experience and would return to them for more mechanic needs.

Whatever he used to remove the cover from the recovery hook on my front bumper making a chip in my paint. He was very persistent in getting into my car to look for the two hook after I already told him I did not have one. I felt very uneasy about him towing my car and I did not trust him. I chose to send him packing without him towing my vehicle, I chose to pay out of my pocket to reputable towing company to have my car towed to the repair shop. Do not use this towing company!!

Moody's in general has horrible customer service. First they gave me a quote and then after getting…read moremy car in the shop call me and say it is going to cost 50% more then they told me. And oh by the way your car is all in pieces so really nothing you can do about it. Then once I say ok not much choice I ask them if it will still be done on time and they tell me yes. Then I get a call the next day telling me they want to go over some more charges. Of course I completely lose my temper and ask even more cost! At this point and they say oh sorry did not realize you had been told no only the 50%. I then ask again if this will be done on time and I get I am not certain. I ask them to find out and get right back with me as I have to make plans. I am told yup they will do so. End of day rolls around no call. Next day I am suppose to pick the car up and get a call about noon time telling me not complete and they cannot even give me a date. This was a dent in the front passenger side of the car folks really no big deal. A $1,500 job turns into a almost $2,300 job and they cannot complete this in a weeks time. And I think the worse thing is they really do not see this as problem. I plan on filling a complaint with the Better Businesses Bureau along with the state attorney generals office. I am certain this will do no good but will hopefully cause them a little discomfort at lest. Whenever I get my car back I can only hope that they at lest do good work. I am not holding my breath after this however. Like
