First off let me say the the man "AL" and the shop manager with the tattoos whom I can't remember…read moretheir names are good people and very professional. Now as for the owner of the shop "Mike" I was referred to him by a couple of people and when I told him how I got screwed over by another mechanic out of Augusta called Gearheads garage, Mike told me that he's not like that and he can take on any job because he can technically build a car from the ground up. So therefore, I brought my vehicle to him And I received my vehicle back in June 2023 and had it for a total of two days before I had to take it right back to him because it ran like crap. I would call back every two weeks just to see what the status was on my vehicle and there were months at a time that they would never even work on it, but yet they kept taking more work New cars while they still had my vehicle. I Finally get my vehicle back waiting and being patient, at one point, Mike even had the audacity to tell me I needed to be patient when I had already been a year and I hadn't even gotten any progress on my vehicle. I finally picked Up my vehicle today on August 14 of 2024, and this is the kind of work He puts out whenever he said that my fuel return line was clogged on the invoice. It states that it was diagnosed and repaired and this is the half work I got. In my opinion Mike is a lowlife, a con artist, and a thief after paying two invoices totally over $2500 for a vehicle that half ass runs when he said he could build a car from the ground up. I would never recommend anybody to this man's business Because of his unprofessionalism. I will also be contacting a lawyer and the press to look into this man. The owner is a unprofessional and acts childish and rolls his eyes when you tell him how his work is half assed and looks like crap. I never will suggest anyone to go this mechanic. I'm pretty sure he tries to con people into forgetting their vehicle or ranking up a bill so high that they can pay for it just to hope that he will fix it later to get a mechanics title and sell it for himself.

After someone backed into my car this past summer, I ended up taking it to Armand's Body Shop to do…read morethe repairs. I took it in at least four times, and each time they gave it back to me with different problems than when I went in. They were also unprofessional and hostile toward me when I returned, and the owner, Dan Dumont, threw me out of the shop on two of my visits. They were difficult to communicate with, and I had to keep calling and stopping by the shop just to get them to schedule a time to (try to) fix these ongoing issues. These issues started after the first time that Armand's said the repairs were done. I looked over the car and wrote down a list of 18 items that were either broken, missing, or improperly repaired. Some of these items included gritty paint on one panel, very sticky paint on another panel, pieces installed crooked, many missing and broken fasteners, and door buttons not working. I took the vehicle back in, the employees seemed inconvenienced and upset, but they fixed most of these issues. However, the vehicle came back to me with no air conditioning and several warning lights illuminated on the dash. Once those new issues were fixed, I also noticed a broken trim piece, which is when their attitude really started to shift. Dan insisted that they didn't break it and claimed that I've been taking the car home, breaking parts on it, and then bringing it back in to "nickel and dime" him. He then threatened to no longer abide by the warranty on their repairs. As with Dan, the employees at the shop have blamed me for breaking the numerous pieces that they have broken during the repair process. They keep complaining that "these cars are all made of plastic" or "I don't know who's been pulling on all this stuff", and they act angry and annoyed when I come back in to ask them to complete the repairs. During my last interaction with Armand's, I again made it clear that I would be fine with them outsourcing the repairs to another shop if they were unwilling or unable to do the work. Dan refused, saying he wasn't going to pay for that. I asked about their warranty, and Dan again said that he would not guarantee his work or complete the repairs: "I'm not going to warranty clipped-on items." When asked why not, he said "Because you've been back here too many times and I'm not doing it!" Dan told me "I really don't care what your opinion is" and then kicked me out of his shop again. At this point, the insurance company sent me to another local body shop, which was very professional and finished the repairs in one day. They also discovered that part of the reason why trim pieces had been coming off was because Armand's had used tape and/or glue to reattach them instead of doing the job correctly and replacing them. This process has been extremely frustrating and I do not recommend working with Armand's.
