2.5 years ago (early 2019) I had a radiator replaced here (this included a thermostat). Last year I had to replace a defective radiator cap... not a big deal BUT my radiator just went bad 6/20/21. My current repair shop had to replace a defective thermostat along with the radiator. I informed Dr. Rob's Garage that there radiator supplier was giving them bad/defective/cheap products and they never responded. I would expect a "thank you for the information... we'll look into it"... but that's what you'd expect from a customer focused org. I guess their suppliers are more important then their customers. read more

Simply outstanding. I called around 8 in the morning and was told to bring the car in at 10. Needed the air conditioning checked. they immediately took the car in and while I waited fixed the problem. The people were superb, the waiting area was very comfortable with WiFi available. I've been a long time customer at Dr. Robs. It started when my older vehicle broke down and called AAA for a tow and they recommended Dr. Robs as they are an AAA approved garage. I made an appointment at Dr. Rob's Garage for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The appointment was on Monday at Noon, the issue was an ETC Indicator and check engine light. I was told they thought it was a hose but even though it's a Jeep and NAPA, VIP are local they said they would not be able to get a hose until the next day. I found a ride home. The following day I didn't get a call, so I called at noon to see the status of my vehicle and I was told that they were out straight and hadn't got it in yet. I said I would call back later. I called at 3:45 pm and was told they had just put it in the bay but would need to keep it overnight so they could run test it in the morning. They called me at 8:30 am.the next morning and said I was all set. I got a ride, paid $357. for 2 hoses, anti-freeze and labor, and drove 14 miles home. The following morning, my wife took it to work and 6 miles into it, the ETC INDICATOR and check engine light came back on. AAA was called, put the Jeep on a flatbed to Dr. Rob's. I met AAA there at 9:15 am. and checked the Jeep in and showed a picture of the dashboard lights on. I didn't hear from Dr. Rob's prior to going to get my wife from work and I stopped by after 2 pm. and the Jeep had not been moved since it was dropped by AAA. I went into the office and they said it was going in the bay next. I received a call at 3:45 pm. saying the problem was a head gasket actually 2. I would be looking at around $1200. to $1900. now. STAY AWAY FROM DR. ROB'S. They didn't act professional, compassionate or concerned about the delays, inconvenience or lack of communication. read more

This is an excellent, helpful, family-run business. They have done a variety of work for me. They are very reasonably-priced and thoughtful of my time and needs. I have recommended them to friends.
