Zero stars. They are WAY overpriced and sell you on things that don't hold up to the older products, just to make a few extra bucks. Example. I just wanted shellac and a worker insisted that I try this new product on my nails called metallic ( basically powder). It has been 1 week and it is chipping on almost every nail. Even though when I noticed the first chip I started putting my own top coat. They continue to chip. I am 3000 miles away and all they say is come in we will fix. I have another month of being on vacation. Not sure what they don't understand about that. They want to give me 20% off. I paid 55$ JUST FOR MY NAILS... Because they said it lasts longer than shellac. My total bill for a BASIC pedicure, eye brows and the metallic nails 105$... Here is our conversation over me trying to get a refund Me: I spent 105$ on this day and you sold me on this type saying it lasted longer than the shellac. I will not be back in Texas until thanksgiving night. I need the money refunded for my nails Me: My husband comes in and gets hundreds of dollars in gift cards. If this is not credited we will start going elsewhere Atlanta nail bar: we can fix your nails but we can not give you a refund. metallic is not a polish its just for design. you have to get the shellac for it to last long. you did not want to spend more money and get the shellac so its not going to last Me: Total lie. I wanted the shellac and the girl that has the same exact nails that works there was insistent that the powder was better Atlantis nail bar: for you we can fix it if you have time but you are out of the country but i can give you 20% off next time you come. i understand what youre saying but its policy we can not give a refund. we can only fix your nails Me: I will not be coming back and neither will my husband. I am going on yelp now to explain the issue I'm encountering. Send me a pic of something in writing that I will get 55$ worth of services for free for the last time I come in And I don't want it fixed I want a refund. Fixing it will only result in the same issue Atlantis Nail Bar if you write bad review we will not give you 20% off. Things like this happen and we are always open to fixing your nails but we can not issue a refund Me: If you cannot refund my money 20% is nothing to me because you are already over priced. So I am in the middle of writing my write up on yelp now Atlantis Nail Bar if you want to write a bad review go ahead, everyone knows that i do a good job on nails Me: Not new ppl Atlantis Nail Bar: okay thank you Me: You write up a store credit of 55$ plus 20% off and when I get back I will come in. I have not hit submit yet on yelp Me: The reason I am so annoyed is because your company sold me on the metallic when I wanted shellac. And I would have paid less Atlantis Nail Bar: i can only do 20% off your next visit Me: And no credit for the 55 I paid for just my nails? Atlantis Nail Bar: NO Zero stars. Atlantis Nail Bar if you write a bad review you get nothing Me: I'm fine with that Me: I'm out 10$. I would rather warn new ppl in the area than get a 10$ credit Me: I am also including this convo Then I get a text from another number saying this: Dear, it is the current Salon policy that we are going to fix the nails within 7 days. The manager is not authorized to refund. Please come in and have hem fixed. Thank you, Salon Owner. Me: Well as I stated when I was in there I would be gone for 1 month End.... read more

When I pay $162 for my nails and toes I expect the results to last at least for a day. I'm not sure why just the decorations of my toes cost $36 unless the price she quoted me was per toe. This would have been all well and good except for the fact that they all fell off within one day!! Obviously I had to pay what I owed but I will tell you I will never go back to her for a pedicure. It only took about 20 minutes for the actual pedicure and I have really dry feet so it normally takes my usual girl almost an hour to scrub and exfoliate my calluses. Not to mention the guy immediately cut my cuticle really bad and it bled almost the whole time and burned severely when he applied the callus remover. Then after a subpar very expensive pedicure I had to pay extra for the paraffin wax and extra for the shellac in addition to $36 worth of cheap rhinestones. I would have been okay with all of this except for the fact that I felt they were not very transparent about their pricing and probably figured I would be upset about the final cost. I decided to change my review to three stars instead of 2 because I really like the way that Yumi did my nails even though they were pretty expensive she was really fast and did exactly what I had envisioned. I will probably go back to her in the future if I want really good nail art done and have extra money to blow. read more

This used to be my goto, but I'm seriously considering not coming here anymore. I used to Love this nail shop. Friendly people, of course, but I started to notice that the prices literally started going UP.. or I'm getting up charged for sh** that I never even said to pay for! Both times I've come here it's been a tremendous amount of communication.. so me not really thinking they'd charge me more for what I never said I wanted because I came here so often and NEVER had an issue, I let them do whatever. Then I get my bill and it's like ... wtf? I never even said I wanted this shit. Came in for a full set, got charged for a manicure on top of my full set. Came in a week later for a toenail color change got charged for a full fucking pedicure .. like really? And I Love tipping so the more my bill is, the less I'm tipping. If I walk in expecting to pay 30 or 60 possibly 70, the average prices of my nails or toes on an average .. and my bill jumps 30 dollars more .. a tip is not even in question. I gave it 2 stars because I love a few people that work here .. but the establishment really has me f**ked up. read more

I SOLELY came here for my main man NICK who is by far one of the BEST nail technicians I have ever had while living here in Houston.... I am SUPER DUPER PICKY and Nick totally gets me... lol... I have been going to him for almost a year now and I refuse to let anyone else do my nails. He shapes them to my high standards lol..... He is a perfectionist (like myself) and once you get to know him, he very funny and friendly.... But you gotta get to know him.... lol.. I also enjoyed Stephanie; she is a sweet young lady that had the opportunity to do a wonderful job on my pedicure... She also knows how picky I am and she stepped to the challenge like a true professional..lololol... I also enjoyed talking to the owner Tritan... He is very well spoken, professional and easy going... I enjoyed the atmosphere and the customer service. The two young ladies (management) are GREAT as well. I can tell from my first visit that they truly do care about their customers and the service that Atlantis renders... I would TOTALLY recommend this place... read more

i love the way my nails were done, but honestly it would be nice to be greeting. "hello welcome in!" I walked in for the first time & no one acknowledged me good thing I had the common sense into walking in all way & signing in without anyone saying anything. I'm pregnant & it was a gift from hubby for me to go out and get pampered since I've been depressed & very sensitive lol. So you never know when people go out to get pampered it's most likely to help us feel better about ourselves & release some stress. I do understand some people prefer silence. I tried making light conversation, but the tech was a bit serious. I'm home alone all the time & the nail tech didn't talk to me either just ask what color & style. Yes that's what their job is I know, but I AM paying for good service as well. It was an awkward hour lol he was nice but somewhat a light conversation would be nice. read more

NICK NG NAILS IS HERE!!! I will follow this nail tech wherever he goes. I followed him from Skye to Amazing nails and now I am here at Atlantis. First of all I'd like to speak about Nick. Trust me when I tell you once you get your nails done with him you keep coming back. He has excellent customer service and listens to what I want and executes it perfectly. Second I would like to speak about this nail salon. When you walk in you feel this amazing energy. The owner and his sister are wonderful. Everyone is always smiling. I got a pedicure with Diana and let me just tell you the service was impeccable. The atmosphere here is amazing and I am glad Nick is here. I would recommend this salon to all my friends and family. Thank you Nick and thank you Atlantis nail bar for amazing nails and amazing service. read more

Get my lashes done by Yumi. Love her! My lashes always look great and last. I typically go every 3 weeks for a refill. Price is right on par with other salons but they still look good at the 3 week mark, which is not the case at other salons I have tried. Lashes are applied pain free and she's fast. She is honest and tells u ur own lashes can't hold fake lashes that are too long and heavy. I have had my nails dipped here and pedicures done. The pedicures feel wonderful. The dip nails last and they do great design work here. They always offer drinks and rush to greet u. I have been to many many many salons and it's hard to find 1 that does everything decently. This one is an exception. Go see Yumi, she is awesome!! read more

I tend to try many different salons quite often, because I am fairly picky. I am very relieved now that I have found Atlantis Nails. Everyone is sooo kind, and eager to hear any constructive(or not) criticism in order to make sure you are completely happy with any and every service provided. You can tell them exactly what you want and they find a way to do it. Also, I noticed if I had anything I wanted tweaked in any way (like making one nail a bit more squared) I just made a point to tell another employee if the sweetheart doing my nails at the time needed to better understand what I was wanting. No matter what you never leave unhappy because they make it a point to fix whatever you need, just ask for Yumi. read more

I love this place. It's only my third time going, but I return due to their outstanding customer service. There's an actual person working at the front desk that signs you in and asks what your wants are, instead of walking in and wondering who will greet you. You get a complimentary beverage, massage chair, amazing art scenery and lovely service. I got the $50 pedicure but it did include extra feet stuff plus a 10 minute chair back massage. My only complaint would be that my massage was only about 3 minutes. But other than that they actually take their time instead of flipping you in and out like hot pancakes! I will definitely return! Come here if you want to be treated well! read more

I'm in love with this salon. The Underwater architecture and paintings make it for a lovely and pretty scenery. The staff are really nice as well. I came in for a pedicure and a full set. It's was amazing because I got them done both at the same time. Very attentive. I liked that. My manicurist was Ms. Mary and she is awesome. My full-set was so flawless, I just went crazy and started asking for an insane amount of bling on them. I was decked out with alot of charms and Swarovski on my finger nails, it was such a blast. 2 weeks after and they still haven't came off. I see, nor feel any signs lifting. Ms. Mary and everyone at Atlantis will be seeing me very soon. Thank you. read more

I have been going to Atlantis for years now. Today I took a good friend of mine and we both felt amazing afterward. She is now willing to drive from another city just to come to Atlantis. We got full sets, pedicures and massages for a great price. We left feeling like we had "new" feet! I went to sleep as the massage was so relaxing. My nails are flawless!! Kenny(pedicure & massage) and Yumi(nails) are some of the best. They all do a great job. While there, we were able to laugh and talk to each other as if we were family. After a long week, I must say I am ready start a new week. I will be back in 2 weeks!! Please go check them out, you will not be disappointed. read more

I'm really disappointed with my recent visit. First, the acrylic nails were applied way too thick, making them look bulky and unnatural -- especially noticeable from the side. The finish isn't clean or professional, and the shape, while decent, is overshadowed by how heavy and uneven the product looks around the cuticle and tips. On top of that, I was overcharged for a basic pedicure that didn't even include polish. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher level of service and quality. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I didn't get what I paid for at all. I won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

This place had such a good atmosphere! Not only that, but it was extremely clean. They offered us drinks upon arrival and would ask if we needed anything throughout our time here. There were about ten of us (bridal party) that got stuff done and they were able to tend to all of us quickly and efficiently! I had a full powder set done by Luke, and he was very kind and gentle. I told him how I liked my nails thin, and he gave me just that! Will definitely come back! Also, I saw the owner here, and I can really admire the fact that she doesn't just boss people around, but she actually jumps in and helps out her staff. read more

Five stars across the board. Customer service- The staff goes out of their way way to ensure your comfort. They are sincerely nice people that want to make you happy. Cleanliness - I am a clean freak, especially nail salons, very clean! Ambiance- They have done a superb job designing this salon, I don't think you'd find anything nicer in any metro area. Products- I was shocked at the upscale products used for a simple pedicure, really top of the line organic oils. I had a facial, same thing. Value- Good luck trying to match or beat! They manage to charge market and even below for extraordinary service! read more

Love this place for my lashes, a massage, facial, nails, pedi and my eyebrow micro blading! You must see Yumi for microblading eyebrows and eyelash extentions!! She is professional, quick , and quality. My lashes last almost 3 weeks. Quick in and out in an hour. Products are good and last. Yumi is amazing and on my micro blading she measured all out and made sure everything was sterile and accurate. I have had nothing but compliments! Go see Yumi and the team at Atlantis nail bar you won't regret it. You want service, selection and professional options with high quality go see Yumi! read more

From the minute you walk in Atlantis Nail Spa a sense of serenity and relaxation take over. Decorated like an underwater paradise, you are offered something to drink and many colors and services to choose from. Yumi, Diana, Maya and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the products and services offered. I got the Ultimate pedicure and was treated to an hour + of bliss. I have had many pedicures in my life and this place is one of the best ever. So if you're looking for a great place to call your nail "home", come here. Ask for Yumi. read more

I love it here! I've been going to a nail salon in KIRBY for the longest, and I can't believe I just found this place so close to home! They're the best. Even better than Sky nail salon on 2920 which is way over priced and always full of people for some reason. Every single nail technician here is amazing, and I can't wait to get my eyelash extensions. Diana is awesome here, she always finds the exact color I find pictures of online, and the other nail technicians whose names I don't remember have always left my nails and skin feeling soooo pretty too. read more

Hello Gents, I just got one of my best experiences in Houston. It is my second time visiting this place for my pedicure. As soon as you arrive everybody friendly, before the start working on your feet a glass of wine. Or a great cocktail that I could not get the name but is rum and tropical juices. Decor is great a makes you travel far away. The best was Diana my pedicurist she was an expert and suggested the right herbal for my feet. If you want a place affordable with high professionals like DIANA and work class service this is the place. read more

I was in the area of Spring and decided to try Atlantis Nail Bar. I needed a mani/pedi with Shellac polish. I did not like my nail tech because first, she told me to turn off my massage chair because of the motion. Second, after completing the manicure/shellac she never filed my nails and they were ALL uneven. Thanks to Yumi, the manager, who noticed the problem immediately upon checking out, she shaped and repolished my nails. Thank you Yumi for turning my experience around. Good management goes a long way! I'll definitely return. read more
