I first hired Malaga Landscape to build stone steps down a steep section of my yard. Ricardo…read morerecommended a great material and tied in the steps to the existing landscaping with new plants and mulch. While he was working, I extended the job to include an additional mulched area under a new trampoline, which he did without issue or extending the timeline. All of the work was great quality, and I was very happy with the price. Since he did such a good job and came in under budget, I called him back a few weeks later to build a ground level deck off of a backyard shed. Again, Ricardo was very easy to work with, and planning out the design felt like a natural dialog. When my wife saw the footprint of the deck in progress, she asked for a couple of changes, and Ricardo was able to accommodate without changing the timeline or the budget. All in all, Mr Malaga Landscape was a great find, and I know I've got a contractor I can rely on for any future outdoor construction.

We didn't request this at all, and if they had intended to do it, they did not consult with us first but they simply did it. No company that we've ever contracted with ever simply unilaterally started doing things on their own without first notifying the homeowner of what they were going to do before they did it even if there were a contract or anything the homeowner was consulted first of what was going to be done first before the work started. The workers just literally took it on it on themselves, as if they live here , and start chopping ...extremely disappointed and extremely disturbing. Upon complaining to the manager, the manager came out to our home , very belligerent, refused to listen and said it was nothing wrong. We asked him to leave our property. He would not and we had to called law-enforcement to have him removed from my property . We do not want anything further to do with this company and we cancelled our contract forthwith .

While I hate to fault a conpany for the way their employee acts, unfortunately that is the only "face" of the company that I see. This man named Jacob ( supervisor) was so rude and offensive and aggressive. He literally sat in his car screaming at the top of his lungs when I asked if I could come through and return to my house with my dog. He cursed and asked if I was stupid or if I could read. I can't imagine talking like this to anyone. When I asked him to tell me where I could park and would walk the rest of the way home, he said " I don't give a shit what you do". He was so aggressive and mean. Maybe he had a bad day? I don't know, but when I asked of if he able to come and go through my neighborhood I was told yes. When he CLeARLY said that I couldn't as it would damage my vehicle- I calmly asked where I could park- as in where would I not be In Their way. No one deserves to be screamed at, and as a woman I'm horrified that this could even happen. I would not recommend this company at all. While I don't believe the customer is always right, I do believe no one should feel attached or belittled by anyone .
