I first contacted Atlanta Roofing back in January of this year after some concerns I had about the current condition of my roof. After some severe storms and high winds we'd experience over the holidays and over the past few years, I felt that my roof was no longer in the shape it should be in. I found them after an online search and spoke with Trace. He politely provided me with a brief history of the company and how long he'd been in the business of roof installation and inspection. After our conversation I asked if he could come out and take a look and let me know the results of his preliminary inspection. Him and his wife graciously came out to my home, making sure I would be there so he could explain the inspection to me. After some time on the roof, he came back down and explained that he did discover some damage and plenty of wear and tear on the shingles. I placed a call with my insurance company to file the claim and then waited for the next steps in the process. My insurance company arranged for an independent inspector to come out and verify the damage. Trace kept in touch with me throughout the process, he met the inspector at my location and both inspected the roof to confirm the damage. After this was confirmed, my insurance company sent a check minus my deductible to pay for the replacement. Before the replacement took place, Trace and his wife came out one evening to show me a selection of shingles to choose from. He explained to me the differences in the brands and types and the average lifespan. Once the selection was made, his wife made some brief notes and also noticed a couple of spots where my siding was having issues. After they managed to find a day when it wasn't raining, they were out to the house that morning. I had already left for work but he sent photos throughout the day showing their progress, by late afternoon they were pretty much done. He sent me a few more photos of the completed work, but it was even better seeing it up close when I got home. The roof looked fantastic, it still does! I can definitely tell the difference during some of the recent heavy rains we've had, a lot less noise from the roof and I'm less nervous about strong winds. Later that evening after they'd finished the work, a gentleman came by to pick up the trailer of the discarded shingles. Took him about fifteen or twenty minutes and he was gone. I truly appreciate all of the hard work and efforts Trace and his team put effort on replacing my roof, it really shows. Earlier this month, a neighbor from across the street approached me one day when I had just pulled into the driveway. He asked about my roof and if he could the name of the company that installed it. Trace and his crew at Atlanta Roofing demonstrated exceptional determination, attention to detail, and generosity in the completion of our project. Their persistence with Atlanta City Hall even amid the Covid-19 pandemic meant that we were able to proceed with our roof replacement/renovation. We could not have accomplished this renovation without them. Our project was a very long haul (almost a year), but the results are well worth the wait. In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Atlanta Roofing's persistence with City Hall and the speed with which their crew worked once the permit was in hand was truly amazing. Their team exceeded all of our expectations and left us with a church that we can truly be proud of. At every stage of the project, the crew performed with exceptional professionalism and talent. From removing the roof, to painting, to hanging the chandeliers, each step of the process was performed with expertise and an eye toward the end product. Their generous and unexpected gift of the painting our exterior woodwork touched us more than they can know. Because of this exterior painting, our little church on the corner has taken on an entire new persona, and a look that corresponds with the quality of our newly renovated interior. The creation of the overhang, soffit and fascia on our parish hall annex (where none existed before), makes the whole building appear seamless, not to mention resolving the rain damage issues caused by the original roof with no overhang at all. This company was my savior after several trees fell on my house and damaged my roof and front part of my house. Several other companies recommended by my insurance company would only do bits and parts of the repairs and at a premium cost; but Atlanta Roofing would not only repair the roof and gutters, but also do the carpentry, porch railings, and painting of the front of the house. They brought an armada of workers who knew what they were doing and cared about what they did. I was amazed by how quickly the work progressed. This was important to me, as I had to have an emergency knee replacement and could not deal with much more stress. One of the owners even loaned me his walker till I got my own. They constantly called and gave me updates on what was completed and what had to be done and when. Several weeks later after completion, I found a hole in my closet that had not been found by the insurance adjuster; I called Atlanta Roofing and in several days, they came and fixed that too! Recently a shingle fell off of our roof during a bad storm. I was told to always get three quotes when you need to have repairs done to your house. I ended up calling 5 companies. I spoke to Trace who is the owner and not only did he quote the lowest price but he was the most personable. The other companies just wanted our business. Trace wanted to EARN our business. He told me that he had been in business for 20 plus years and will only do what NEEDS to be done. After two phone calls and a survey of the roof we scheduled an appointment. Not only did he fix the shingle he also did a few other odd jobs that he saw that needed to be done once he got up there. I would recommend Trace and his company to friends and family without a doubt. If you need roof repair he is the one to call. Great experience with Atlanta Roofing. My only regret is that I didn't know about them several years ago when the initial damage to my roof happened. The roof couldn't be replaced immediately due to rain all week but the owner himself came out and tarped the roof to prevent further leaking in my house. As soon as the weather cleared, they were out there to replace my roof. The roof looks amazing. I also went ahead and replaced the shutters. (If you ever have the option of black gutters, go for it. Atlanta roofing is a great company. They were very professional and thorough. They installed our roof and it looks wonderful. They made sure there were no sinks or bumps in the roof and everything is even. Trace and Donnie took care of everything and we appreciate that.
