Atlanta Pro Bikes - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Recommended to come here by Bike Barn who stopped servicing bikes. First time up my bike had ever had, probably 12 years old, road hard. Needed new tires and they didn't have them. They quoted me $60/tire which was quite high. I ordered the tires on Amazon for half that and had them shipped there. Little strange but whatever. The bike is like new and the price charged was reasonable. New brakes, tires, 1 tube. Will go back again. read more

It's kind of ironic that you have to endure either life threatening traffic or rim busting crumbling sidewalks to make it here on a bike, but that's Atlanta. The tech here knows his stuff and the selection is huge and varied for a shop this size. If you haven't ridden in a while, this is the shop I would recommend. They're big on test rides here, and isn't that what it's all about? read more

These guys were great. I'm new to biking, and couldn't figure out how to tighten my handle bars. They tightened them for me and even moved them to a more comfortable position. Didn't even charge me. A couple weeks later I popped my tire. They were able to get me in and fix it quick. Great shop. Great people. read more

This shop came highly recommended by a friend and I can see why. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and super patient. I took my time, went on test rides and they provided thorough information about the bikes. Even after I made my selection and had a hard time getting my new bike home they offered to deliver it for me. They truly went above and beyond to assist. Thank you so much & I will see you again soon! read more

They helped me finish my tube install and were super nice and friendly. Will definitely be returning for all my bike needs!

Rented a Trek Fuel EX 9.7 from these guys one Sun whilst in Atlanta. They were very helpful even to the point matching the fork & shock pressure to my weight and fitting the bike accurately. Price was $80 for a day, they generously offered for me to return the bike next day to maximise riding time. Bike was in great condition with new tyres and clean drivetrain. Had to drop bike back late same day due to chg in plans and they had closed the shop but quickly opened up to let me in. Good guys, hope to see them next time. read more

It's important to know that the staff doesn't wear masks despite being indoor and working closely with customers. I regret going and next time would choose a different shop. read more

All the guys here are knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. They quickly got me set up with a new, reasonably priced bike that I love! I haven't gotten my ish together yet to bring it in for a tuneup, but I'm certain whenever i do that they'll be just as speedy and detail-oriented. Thanks James and Paul! read more

Awesome bike shop. Went in for a reasonably priced hard-tail mountain bike. Paul and team were in the process of building a Kona Kahuna and had it ready for me in under 30 minutes. Great expertise, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend and go here for all my service and bike needs when in the area. read more

These guys helped me manage my decades old Sears bike. I had no problems for a year with their help but it was finally time to give something else a try after the pedals were falling apart. I've been to the shop multiple times and wanted to share my experience after my first purchase visit. Jon and Paul at APB are friendly and look out for your needs with patience. They also go out of their ways to do to a professional, complete job and make sure to find and present what's compatible for you. I picked up a used Bianchi fitted with quick release wheels and seat, and 3x7 Shimano shifters. Jon even replaced the slightly worn pedals, moved over my u-lock, tossed in a water bottle and bottle holder and was very, very thorough with maintenance. After living in town for a while and visiting a few shops, this is the only one in Atlanta I've come back to over and over. Thanks Jon and Paul for your hard work and I hope that old Sears bike can provide something valuable if not a good donation to someone who needs it. read more

I can't say how awesome this shop is. There is nothing short of a miracle that they can't make happen. And they were able to make a miracle happen for me. I was interested in a 2017 Kona Roadhouse. I had been told that they were unavailable, but would contact me when they were. I have never been drawn to a bike as I was to this one. They informed me that the bike had been released, and that Kona had produced such a very few amount of them that my chances were non existent. Basically, I had a better chance of finding a cure for cancer using the ingredients found in bologna. As I began to give up hope, and looking into other options, I got a phone call from Paul. They noticed that Kona had located 2 available in my size. When they placed the order, there was only 1 left. It arrived yesterday, and they had it built, and ready to ride immediately. Kona limited the number of bikes for this particular model to 50. They understood my passion for this bike, and felt the same as I did. They wanted to be apart of something special. They worked a miracle by making my dream a reality. If there is an opening for bike shop sainthood, I nominate them, St. APB! read more

I *love* this shop! --Great bikes at an affordable price --Incredibly cool employees --zero pressure to buy --endless patience for questions --deeply knowledgeable --bikes for every rider -- and part of an indie bike shop community in Atlanta-- they will send you in the right direction if you can't find what you need in their store (..but don't worry, they have EVERYthing.) I just bought a Kona Dew Plus which I absolutely love. I came in prepared to spend more on a road bike... any other shop wouldve sent me on my way with a product I didnt really need. These guys fit me with the perfect ride for my daily commute. Slick, speedy ride. Also, my 2 year old son was tearing around their shop for a half hour on a strider bike, bashing into stuff, and nobody batted an eye. Instead, they offered up advice on what the little dude's first real bike should be. Could not be happier. read more

Awesome Shop! The guys there are super friendly and knowledgable! I had a general idea of what I wanted, so they had me test ride it along with some similar bikes. Have had 3 bikes serviced here and recently purchased a new Kona Sutra LTD here. Have ridden with these guys on over a handful of rides. Best bike shop in the city. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent selection of brands, models & parts. Service is great, and the staff offers solid advice. Great location in the city. Once got hit by a car shortly after pedaling from APB. Was stuck and bruised with a broken bike. Called the shop, they came and picked me up, made sure I was OK, got my bike in the repair line up & before I was physically healed, they had my ride good to go. Great shop! Go check them out, and you'll know. read more

Restored my faith in Local Bike Shops and humanity. High knowledge, Low stress bike buying experience. Amazing cool vibe with excellent support. I went into full bike buying mode and was just not getting along with the process, especially with certain LBS attitudes in the greater Atlanta area. Found a few bikes on my narrowed down list and made another run at the shops. Finally came to APB and it all worked out splendidly. Purchased a bike (for bike-packing) and APB took care of me with maintenance advice and what I needed to get me started on a two week multi-state shakedown ride -- and it all worked! After I completed the ride, they serviced the bike and now it's ready for another multi-State run. They've taken my calls when I had questions during my adventure (like how to properly prep the bike for stowage travel) as well as on future options to personalize my ride. Great relationship! read more

My best friend and I went to look for a hybrid for her. John was extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. He had the bike he had promised over the phone and was happy to let her test-drive it when we got to the shop. As she was riding around, he spoke to me about the bikes and didn't talk down to me, even though I'm not a bike connoisseur. When she decided to hold off as the bike was just a little too small, he was happy to take her information and call her if anything came in fitting a description she desired. I left extremely pleasant from the interaction and exclaimed that he was the epitome of good customer service! read more

Just bought a Rove ST and found the APB team to be the most helpful, laid-back, genuine guys I've met at ANY store. It is refreshing when many bike shop are filled with know-it-all-hipsters with bad attitudes. I have never experienced better customer service. There are also tons of great bars and restaurants to grab a beer or a snack while you wait for your bike to be repaired by their excellent mechanics. Oh yeah, I love my new bike too. read more

Went in looking for something they wound up not currently stocking, but wow, what a warm and welcoming group of guys. Very helpful, friendly staff. Knowledgeable. I came in for a helmet, they gave me lots of helpful information about the bike coalition. I believe they offer discounts to members of the coalition, I biked there from my house, so I don't know if there is parking, but I didn't see a private lot, so I would say there is probably street parking but no private parking. They sell bikes, helmets and bike accessories. They fix, tune up, and more. Cute, clean, quaint store. I will definitely be bringing my bike here for my future cycling needs. read more

I just took my YT Jeffsy in for a creak that has been annoying me for a couple weeks. I was worried it would be a mystery creak, but one of the mechanics ( I believe his name was Lee), had the main creak fixed in about 10 minutes. The silent BB lead me to another creak in the rear linkage which he fixed in about 5 seconds. Its also worth mentioning that YT is a direct sales brand (therefore no bike shop sells them), and those guys didn't give me any grief whatsover. Everyone was super friendly, and I can't believe how quickly they fixed my bike. Also while waiting I was looking around the shop, and they have some absolutely incredible deals. Probably the best place to get a full sus ITP. This will be my intown bike shop moving forward. read more
