I normally don't write reviews, but I thought this place is worth it.
My husband and I moved in August 2006, before we got married. For the past 4 years, I could say, this place is worth it. Ya its pricey, but that is something you expect for the prime location. I mean...5 minutes away from Ala Moana mall, 5 minutes away from the 24 hour fitness, 30 minutes away from Waikiki...you can't beat the location if you like to eat, shop, and exercise. The park is about 10 minutes away...so you can barbeque any time. I barely enjoyed all the amenities living in this location, but it was very convenient (especially to my visitors).
Lets get back to the condo.
*Its clean. At times, it can get dirty on the ramp (with trash), but otherwise, its usually very clean.
*It can get dusty...because of the busy Kapiolani and Atkinson roads, so if you probably need to wash the car about once every few weeks (unless you don't care if its dirty).
*The balcony was a challenge. Because you can't wash it down with water, you had to sweep it or deal with the black dust particles.
*Insects wasn't a problem as much. That could be because we were more on the top floor.
*The pool area was nice. There's 2 barbeque pits. Never could find the shower. The size of the pool...medium. You really can't do laps, but what can you expect.
*The walls are really thick except for the bathroom. So, you can't even hear the neighbors.
*Because we're near some bar and there is a low income buildings behind us, it can get noisy at 2 am occasionally.
*If you are a light sleeper, you probably can hear the noise from the streets. Usually, it dies down late at night.
Overall, I would live here again. Its worth it. read more
