Park anywhere on the left side. There are about 20 guest parking spaces for the building. Take the parking elevator from level 1 to the lobby on level 3 and register your car with security.

Our journey as Diamondhead Sands residents began four years ago and we just moved out to build a house of our own, as we were sick of paying into the endless black abyss that is tenant rent. You will see from the pictures attached that this was a beautiful space for us to call home. We were lucky enough to have a Diamondhead view from the kitchen, a plumeria tree and Kapi'olani Park view from our bedroom, and a peek-a-boo ocean view from our lanai! The neighborhood is fully walkable with restaurants such as Bogart's, Da Cove Health Bar, Pioneer Saloon and Diamondhead Market and Grill to boast! Insider's tip...Diamondhead Market has the cheapest price in town for our favorite beer (Maui Double Overhead) and a pretty extensive beer and wine selection overall. In addition to drinks and eats, there are at least three parks, two gardens and a plethora of beaches within twenty minutes on foot. Waikiki is also right there, if you are into that madness. I must also add the weekly Friday night fireworks, which we took advantage of as often as possible. They begin during winter at 7:45 and summer at 8:00 each Friday evening. All in all, Diamondhead Sands was a phenomenal place to live. While being close to so many things, it is extremely safe and quiet. I highly recommend!

The recreation deck is on the eighth floor, the building has a small gym, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, barbecue area, a small party room and a children playground. This is a pet friendly building with 24 hours security on site. As far as storage, they have bike and surf board storages but you have to pay a fee. Down at the street level, they have Down to earth, lunch place, beauty salon, UPS store, sweat and soul, Ya Ya steak house. Overall, this is a solid building in my opinion, the only thing I do not like is there is no free guest parking, you have to pay and it is not cheap.

Conveniently located within walking distance of some great eateries and shops as well as having Kakaʻako and Ala Moana as your neighbors, you have everything you need. No guest parking available but there is a public drop off area. Easy to find. The lānai is beautiful. Views of the ocean, seasonal firework shows, and the infamous Kakaʻako Night Market. The pool being disgusting is one of the many reasons why they went through a lot of resident managers because the others weren't pulling their weight. I challenge anyone to look at the pool now. It's a 60+ year old building so the fact that Frank and the board are taking the time to address issues for repair to bring this old building into the 21st century is remarkable, But of course an owner would appreciate and understand this more than a renter because the value of their property is going up. 4. They have vestibules on each end of the corridors with trash bins that people dump in. Every morning the maintenance guy comes and empties it. That's the equivalent of having a trash chute. The doors closed ensure the smell doesn't go into the units. Overall Sky Tower is an amazing complex with a diverse community. Sure it's not a luxury condo, but it's a step above your average multi dwelling unit. Frank may have his faults but so does everyone else, we're not perfect, and he CARES about the building and the people in it. I wholeheartedly recommend the building to anyone who is interested in buying/renting and its amazing staff to back it up!

It's confusing! Even the parking structure is non-traditional. If you go down the wrong ramp, you won't be able to exit... LOL! The parking levels may not be the same number as the floor you're looking for... and there are sets of stairs that connect the parking to the different parts of the building. Just read the signs correctly... and remember to get parking validation! I only park in the Imperial Plaza structure when I visit my optometrist. Parking entrance/exit for customers and visitors is from Kawaihao Street which all businesses validate for you. During pandemic of 2020, there was no parking attendant which made parking easier and more available. I would also park on Cooke Street when working out at Ikaika Fitness Factory, FKA Kakaako Fitness, early in the mornings, but would have to move my car once the metered parking begins during business hours. The parking garage lights have finally been updated making it much brighter than before. And there's also public restrooms that's kept clean and tidy and can only be accessed by the business's restroom keys.

The Collection towers high right between Keawe and South Street and though it seems the main condo entrance is on Keawe Street this review is for The Collection Lofts which is 610 Ala Moana and yes it's part of "The Collection" the entrance is on Ala Moana Blvd which many got lost trying to find it though I had a hunch of it's location, there is a sign right out front though it's not easily viewed basically unless you're standing right in front of it lol. Very secure as you need to have to be buzzed in to basically every area as we were having an event at the recreation rood which is right beside the gym which yes you both need a key to get into each one. The recreation room is basically the size of a large studio apartment short of a bed as it's bougie layout has it all with a lounge area with large cushy soft and big screen tv with a large coffee table to layout any snacks, pool table right behind the lounge, kitchen with a microwave, sink and a full size fridge and a large table with seating to seat up to 8. Huge windows that allows a lot of sunshine to brighten the whole room with privacy shades where you're able to see out though but keep it private from the outside as you're not able to see inside, it's such a lovely place to gather for any occasion. The Surrounding areas of the collection is amazing from lots of Resturant's to Bars, A basketball park, A UFC gym, grocery stores like H-MART, down To earth and a Whole Foods. My daughter and I use the gym daily and love it; it has everything I need. Living on the 29th floor is amazing with great ocean views and multiple surf breaks visible! As a rental, it's pricey but a solid option for a one-year lease. I'd love to buy a condo here, but I'm not sure it'll be affordable next year.

The samsung fridge's ice makers don't work and the communal one is out of service every few months. Microwaves turn on by themselves. The building uses pex piping and units are getting water damage. The shutoff valves on the pipes also wont turn off. There is mold and mildew everywhere in the apartments. The parking has no drainage and when it rains you have to walk through the water. Every other month you'll get woken up in the middle of the night for a false fire alarm. It is also a noisy area. People drag race and rev their motorbikes throughout the weekend. You'll also hear dump trucks collecting garbage at 6 in the morning. The amenities are good and well taken care of. The front office and security are great. But, overall I'd avoid living here.
