The service is very amazing, and welcoming. It's a little hole in the wall but super delicious to try! I was impressed by the atmosphere of the environment, its clean and has a great outside patio. Thank you for the free chicken katsu. Will definitely come back for more!! (:

What a gem! This place is so good and the service was impeccable!! In the pictures you'll see a beautifully plated chicken katsu! And teriyaki chicken plate. Can't wait to come back. Reasonably priced as well. Perfect for lunch!

They noticed my shirt and were thoughtful enough to put Sailor moon on tv.

Top notch hospitality! Super friendly and eager to explain the menu items. 2 person operation so please be patient with larger orders. Been at this location for decades. Cozy hole-in-the-wall a with comfy soft booths. Sampler Plate; Spicy chicken soup; and tiger roll all MADE FRESH for around $40... BARGAIN!!

The location is not too far from our office so it was a nice find. It is run by a nice Korean man and I think his wife but not sure since I did not see her but he mentioned a lady that was cooking. They do have tables in the place but they are roped off so I think it is take-out only. He mentioned that he will start serving breakfast, I believe in April but I think he said that he would open at 8:00am which is a little late for me. He is going to add some new items to his lunch menu like a galbi style hamburger. He used to serve short ribs but due to costs he had to remove from menu. I went with the salmon which was cooked perfectly. His macaroni is on the sweeter side and I found out he uses sour cream. I can't wait for his new menu.

Still Our Favorite Tofu Spot -- Had to Bring the Family This Time!…read more Of course we had to come back to our favorite tofu spot, and this time we brought the family for a belated Mother's Day dinner after raving about this place nonstop. Best part? We saw Shelly, our favorite girl that works here! She's always so sweet, kind, and welcoming every single time we visit. It honestly makes the experience even better when you're greeted by familiar friendly faces. We came around 7:30 PM and the wait was only about 10 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all considering how popular this place gets. Service was quick, efficient, and the food kept coming out fast. Plenty of tables inside, so it never felt too cramped. This time around we ordered: * Jap Chae * Bulgogi with Beef & Seafood Tofu Combo * Spicy Pork w/ seafood & beef combo * Teriyaki Chicken w/ seafood & beef tofu * Bulgogi with All Seafood & Beef Tofu Combo And of course... the unlimited refills of the banchan are always one of the best parts. Honestly, sometimes I think I could make a full meal out of just those alone. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and exactly why we keep coming back every couple of months. I will say the prices have slowly been creeping up little by little each visit, but honestly, we still enjoy it every time. Still our go-to tofu spot and definitely one we'll continue bringing family and friends to. Happy eats!

Happily Valente is still here to greet us with a smile and give us an amazing service like today when my sister and I came for lunch. The food is ALWAYS amazing! I love getting the hot stone bibimbap and their spicy tofu soup! The banchan is also so good that I literally ask for more all the time and they always come by and giving us more I've never had a bad experience here in the 5 plus years that I've been coming here. We didn't realize what a big portion this would be the first time we ordered it, but it's definitely shareable or you can do what we do: add a combo for extra food to take home for leftovers =P I do also wish they added more broth/water to their tofu soup because it always seems so dry after they bring it out. Their Beef Ribs area also good! Their banchans are good (some are a bit on the sweet side). Service is still quick and restaurant is clean. One unisex restroom in the back that's clean. Parking lot is still a doozy but this plaza is always really busy.

The service is superb and they were very generous with all the banchan that they brought out - which we are super grateful for! My favorite was the seaweed mixed with cabbage and the cucumber. For the entre, we ordered the ginseng chicken soup and the combo mushroom soup with bulgogi. Total bill came out to be $72 with an 18% tip included in there. Ginseng chicken tasted great and healthy. Tofu soup was good as well. The bulgogi was a bit sweet but that is expected. Overall, we all enjoyed this place and would definitely come back again. Plenty of parking as it shares a plaza with other shops (Daiso, sushi place, Jersey Mikes, bargain market, etc..). There are some strange people hanging outside so just be cautious about that going at night.

I wanted to introduce my gf that lives in the area to tofu soup and this one was nearby and the only one in the area so we decided to give it a shot. It's odd for myself as a Korean American to go to a Korean tofu soup spot and there are no Korean speaking front of house members. I saw maybe one Korean ajumma in the back of house and that's it. Here's what we ordered: **Beef Tofu Sou (Medium Spicy): Easily one of the worst tofu soup (soondubu) I've ever had. First off, when I added the egg, the soup wasn't boiling so the egg didn't cook through. The soup base hardly had any spicy kick. The soup itself was very bland and had no authentic soondubu flavor. (1/5) **BBQ Short Ribs: The galbi was not that hot when it was served. It was very fatty and mostly bone. I do not recommend if you're looking for authentic galbi. (1/5) The banchan selection was very poor. The service was decent in the beginning but once I was ready for my check, it was really hard to flag anyone down. If you're looking for authentic Korean style tofu soup, I do not recommend. If you're catering towards a less flavorful Americanized tofu soup then this may be the spot for you.

The sweet potato cheese curry katsu was also really nice, everything was such a nice balance between the sweet potato, cheese, and curry was all a nice touch. The katsu was also very nice and crunchy! The seafood pancake was also pretty good too, very hefty. I would say it's a bit undercooked(?) so you can taste the batter a bit and everything inside of it, but I thought it was still pretty good since the top layer has a very nice crisp. Parking is by far the best part, since there's plenty of underground parking. When you enter, there is a gundam-like vibe. Reservations are allowed, but note that tables only really seat 4. It's hard to have larger parties, and you will be split between more than one table. (And 18%+ gratuity will still be required even if you can't sit at the same table.) With only a $3 price difference, it's so tempting to order the most expensive menu. The meats the first round were amazing. However, after ordering the same meats again, the meats that were very tough and rubbery. While the meats were highly inconsistent, there were two consistent things. The first were the limited scallops, and the second was the lack of service. Overall, TK92 easily ranks as the biggest disappointment for AYCE KBBQ that I've had in a while.
