Frisco Hall - 2026 Bingo Loco winner: giant pink sloth!

    Frisco Hall

We attended an event called "Bingo Loco" at Frisco Hall Event Center and it was one of the most fun…read morenights I've had in a long time! Yes, a bingo event, lol. If you think its a traditional bingo night, think again. Bingo Loco is wild!!! High-energy from beginning to end. Imagine bingo, a dance party, a game show, all rolled into one. You'll have to do a quick search to learn more about Bingo Loco. Its held in various locations all over the country. Tickets range from per person to a reserved VIP table. If you go solo or with a small group, its open seats. This location was long tables and seating was euro style. We enjoyed everyone around us. This specific event offered food (nachos, popcorn, pizza slices, etc), drinks (water, soda, fruity alcohol in a wine crafe & jello shots) and swag. The doors closed 7pm sharp, lights dimmed down and the neon lights turned the room into a party house. Our host and Dj were AMAZING: funny, sexy, and really kept the crowd completely engaged the entire time. Impressive! The way it works is simple: you get one bingo card, a highlight pen, and the Dj plays several rounds of music through out the evening. But instead of typical letters and numbers called out.. the Dj plays music that matches songs on your bingo card. Bingo was one row (5 boxes) in a horizontal direction. It was easy to follow. Don't feel intimidated if you don't know the music, it's all part of the fun. Most people used apps lol. There were some pretty cool prizes. I'm sure it's different at each event. We had the chance to win everything from an air fryer, jumbo sized pink sloth, karaoke machine, disco ball football helmet, a giant dildo penis mounted to a bucket, and a trip for 2 to Las Vegas (to name a few). Between rounds, there were sing-alongs, confetti blasts, a chance to stand up and dance to the music, and random moments of pure chaos that kept the energy level through the roof!!! I LOVED that this was a 21+ event. The mature audience made it feel more like a fun night out with friends than a family entertainment event. Everyone was there to let loose, laugh, dance, and have a good time. Maybe too much fun lol. The hype surrounding Bingo Loco is absolutely justified. I've seen videos online and wondered if it could really be that fun in person. The answer is yes. The crowd was enthusiastic, and fully committed to the experience. Looked like some groups were birthday celebrations, batchelorette parties, GNO, and definitely groups of friends of all ages and genders. Frisco Hall Event Center was a great venue for it as well. The space allowed everyone to be part of the action. If you're looking for a unique night out, be prepared .. once you've experienced bingo this way, regular bingo will never be exciting again! We are already looking for where the next one is located. We would definitely return to this venue if it was hosted here again.

Infirm folks had no place to sit for the half hour we waited to be let into the large hall. The food was terribly prepared. Two servers had to serve multiple tables, so service was very slow. After I contacted Roxy by phone asking that my life-threatening allergy be accommodated, it was not. At the event she told me I should have brought my own food--the first time in 47 years a food service business told me that. The facility itself was okay, but I would never attend any event at Frisco Hall again.

Legacy is a three story indoor food plaza that also overlooks and is connected to the outdoor venue that you can get tickets for. With outdoor seating available. First floor is your eateries. Second floor is mostly seating and a couple bars. Third floor mostly bars and some seating. While waiting for my party to arrive I sat at the second floor bar, Heaven Hill, and ordered a couple cocktails. The bar tender, a pleasantly upbeat woman, educated me on the various food options as well as some of their favored cocktails. I had a raspberry beret (shoutout Prince) and a Larceny Paloma. The name was just calling me. While the beret was fruity and refreshing, the Paloma had a bite and kick that snuck up on you. I loved it!! As it's a mall of food there was no trying just one lol. We tried the dry rub brisket bar, chef chin's hibachi ramen, chilango's tacos, cotton and snow, and unlawful assembly brewing co. To finish the evening. Brisket with Mac and cheese; burria tacos; tonkotsu ramen; cookies and cream ice cream; and lastly a Moscow Mule to end the evening. The Mac and cheese from the brisket bar was terrible. Runny, and bland. But the brisket was amazing. Seasoned and tender and so moist!!! Tacos were exceptional. Ramen was awesome. Ice cream was ice cream. It wasn't bad, but not eye popping amazing. The mule was delicious. I ended the night stuffed and sleepy!! Great visit!! If you're in the Plano area this is a must!! And there are tons more eateries.

Across a couple of visits, my husband and I shared: - Street by Chef Jimmy Li: Beef Roll Pancake - Son of a Butcher: New Mexico Frito Pie Slider, PB&J Slider, Smokehouse Slider, Popper Slider, Champ Slider (was supposed to be Cowboy) - Roots Chicken Shak: Spicy Bird - Chilangos Tacos: Hongos Quesadilla - Dry Rub: Breakfast Burrito with Brisket I loved everything we had. My favorite places were probably Street and Son of a Butcher. You really can't go wrong though because there are a lot of great options. I was disappointed the second time we got sliders. They gave us one of the wrong sliders and the one that we got that we didn't want was pretty boring. Unfortunately, we didn't realize it until after we ate it, so double check to make sure you get the right thing. If I'm back in the area for work, I'm sure I'll be back here again.

I feel like service could've been a little better. My refill was quite slow but overall service was decent-good. Food... was great but missing a little element here and there (personal opinion). Man, I love the calamari here but it just needs a little seasoning. For the Wagyu, the steak wasn't rest long enough before it was cut (not a big deal) and I personal find potatoes to not complement the steaks well due to both item was quite greasy and oily. I think the steak would've pair better with perhaps mashed potatoes? They nailed the tiramisu (nothing to say about that). Again, food was great. those nick pick just my opinion what would take what I had tonight to a next level. Overall, really nice place for hangout, date. Great food and great people! I think we may have had an off-night on how they handled our reservation. If it weren't for that, I'd give them a 5! Food: I got the Pappardelle, my wife got the fettucine. Both were among the best we've tasted in Dallas, even compared to our current favorite Roman Cucina. We've been told to also order the brick oven half chicken and the duck, which we'll come back for. Drinks: well presented. The old fashioned had the spherical big cube, and was on the sweet side. My wife had the passion fruit juice, which had very strong flavor (preferred...you can always water it down if you need to). Ambience: beautiful & posh inside. Elegant casual outside. Once you're in, it's hard to remember that you're in a shopping center - everything from the entrance to the restrooms have a beautiful aesthetic. Service: We had a reservation indoors, but when we got there (on-time), we were told there was a 15-20 min wait unless we were willing to sit outside. It was a little bit before prime time, so we were a little surprised. We ended up taking the outdoor seating, and the weather got a little too chilly after sundown. On another day, this would have been perfectly fine (or maybe preferred)...but we figured the point of a reservation was to have the seat we wanted if we showed up on time. That said, Tania (our waitress) was great - humorous, attentive, open with her feedback on the dishes (it was our first time). All in all, a solid recommend for Italian food in N Dallas!

They've got the most gorgeous patio out back and the banquet hall is extremely large and can easily fit a decent sized dance floor. I highly recommend this place. The place is already decorated - so unless you absolutely hate the way it's done, it's another hassle you can cross off your list. There is a beautiful hallway right outside that's just perfect for taking pictures of your guests as they come in. They're pretty much all-inclusive. However, for our event we opted to cater from another location, but we took the rest of their offers. Since they frequently do weddings, they have a set up Brides' and Grooms' room in the back. It's a perfect spot for hosts to stash their valuables, change of clothes/shoes, and any other miscellaneous things you'd like. Highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation - make sure you get a couple of great photographers. Your event will be absolutely stunning and I assure you that you'll be really upset if all the photos you have are selfies from your cell phone or ones that your guests take. My only regret of coming here is that I wish I had more and better pictures of the event. All our guests could not stop raving about this place! All in all, this place was a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth the price in MHO.
