Hired them to move my dad into his new home. They were very responsive from the beginning to the end. We had no issues.

So I was trying to find an affordable mover. Wont do that again. I thought this was a company like ABC Movers. PROS: Very nice Answer phone immediately CONS They were 1 hr late because they went over on another move. That's not acceptable. I was guaranteed wardrobe boxes. The guys came and said the werent any and went to double check. They said that the guy I suppose who books the appointments didn't tell them and forgets to tell them at times. That's not acceptable! Therefore, I couldn't get all my stuff packed to go because I was relying on those boxes. They scratched up ALL our furniture. You're supposed to wrap furniture in blankets to protect it. They didn't. Just used saran wrap to keep drawers or doors shut. Home Depot gives some basic tips that would have helped them wrap better. I'd expect a moving crew having their own business to know that. My brand new crib for my baby and her changing dresser are ruined!! They are gifts! Our desk has scratches, our bed, nightstands! Good thing they didn't take our tv or my husband's gaming system. They were very slow getting to our location. We lived 15 minutes away and they were very late. And no it wasn't because they had to drive slow because of the stuff in the truck. That was suspect. Idk if they made a stop or something. Although they are very nice, the moving skills need work. Due to the damage, no wardrobe boxes, and being late I don't recommend them. Unorganized. Two stars for being nice and low price. read more

I would give triple negative stars if I could. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Worst moving experience ever! Numerous problems with the movers, owner, scheduling. DO NOT USE. No one knows what they are doing, they break things, smoke in your home, take hundreds of breaks, show up 8 hours late, ask inappropriate personal questions, asks to use your restroom to go poop ( yes, the mover Peter ally asked to go poop) and if you have spray, ask if they can take your property home on the truck and then return it the next day because they don't feel like unloading, sit back on you furnisher while dripping in sweat and then charge you an unjustified, made up inflated fee. Oh and don't bother trying to communicate with the owner Peter, he will just ignore your concerns. All the comments about his avoidance is absolutely true. Peter will see me in court - no doubt! Avoid this clown show at all cost. By the way - there are many, many more issues besides what I just stated. read more

My roommate and I had a lot of problems with our move, which we were later reimbursed for. The first problem we had with them is that they mis-quoted us for the job...by $1000 due to a miscommunication on their part. The second problem we had is that they couldn't move our box springs upstairs. They tried for 30 - 45 minutes, which ran our time over, adding an additional cost. The third problem we had is that they scuffed up the walls of the recently-touched up townhome we moved into. See attached photos. Finally, they packed my plunger and toilet bowl cleaner with my BED SHEETS, BBQ utensils with my clothes, and many of my items got stained/dirty in the process. Horrible company. Showed up hours late, destroyed so many of our belongings. Literally showed up with one furniture pad for a four bedroom four bath house. So inconsiderate, we gave them an ice chest of cold waters and they threw the empty bottles all over our grass. I wrote them telling them About the damage and they never responded. This was the first time I hired a moving company due to the size of the move and timeframe required. I could not be MORE PLEASED with the exceptional service across the board. First, the price was great. There were no hidden or additional fees. When I called, I was quoted fairly and accurately. The schedule was made on the spot, and the owner even called the day prior to confirm arrival time. When I said that I had to drop my son off at school, he said that was no problem. Then, the gentleman that led the team in the morning called in advance you confirm arrival time and even mentioned that he was aware that I was taking my son to school. They arrived with all 5 professional men ready to work. The leader of the pack met me inside, and.... this part blew me away.... he had me start the timer on his phone for the charges. The crew was all prepared and began moving immediately. They made sure everything went where it needed to go and did not complain about going up or down stairs repeatedly. This took 3 full truck loads in a 26 foot truck. There were no charges for the mileage back and forth. Finally, when the truck was empty, the same guy who met with me in the beginning came right to me to stop the clock. The rest of the guys were still moving things around, but he stopped the payment right there. I had told them I didn't want to pay for more than 6 hours, and he made sure that happened even with all of the work that they did. Great service all around. read more

We used the Greek movers to move the contents of our home to a storage unit temporarily while our new home is being renovated. We arranged for them to move our piano and it wasn't a good experience at all. When the piano was delivered to our daughter's home it wasn't completely left in the state they originally found it in. The pedals weren't completely attached properly and later we found a nut & screw on the floor and the keyboard loose. I have been calling for 2 1/2 days and I get Peter's voicemail and it says the mailbox is full and I will have to call back. I sent an email, no response. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was scheduled a move 2 weeks ahead, then the day of the move I received a call that they would need to reschedule my move to the next day. They booked for the next day and gave me a time frame of arrival. At the last minute of that time frame I get a call that their truck broke down and they will be late. They said they would provide and additional move at no extra cost to make up the time. They showed up 4 hours later and didn't have the extra guy to help move. Two of the movers were professional, careful and polite, but the other move dropped boxes several times and ran furniture into the walls. The movers said I was there third move of the day. So it seemed like they're over worked and tired by the time they got to my move. I wouldn't recommend them if your on a hard deadline. read more

First the bad, they didn't say anything about a 1 hr arrival window and were 45 minutes past our set time for arrival. 2nd, didn't say anything about 2 different prices, one price of $89 for cash and $99 for a card. Jakob and Devin helped us move and they were both pretty professional guys, the handled all our stuff with care and made sure that everything was carefully wrapped and protected. We only had one box that was fragile but they made sure it was protected on the ride. They were fast and careful, and have reasonable pricing. I'd use them again for other moves. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Absolute worse experience ever! Took much longer than it should have. Took treadmill apart and didn't put back together. Dragged the UNWRAPPED refrigerator along the wall leaving scratches and dents in the refrigerator. Put a hole in the wall moving dryer. Left dents and scratches in the walls of a brand new home. Broke dresser, bookshelves & flat screen tv. Did not have sufficient wardrobe boxes so wrapped clothes in plastic resulting in wrinkled clothes and broken hangers. Contacted Peter who expressed concern but failed to make any amends. Grossly disappointing experience that cost me more in damages than the actual move. Zero professionalism. **Peter hung up on me and refuses to return my many phone calls or text messages but responds on Yelp as if he is willing to resolve. read more

Peter gave us a curtesy call to let us know when he was almost to our house, arrived on time, and had everything he needed to do the job right. Deep scratches on my dining room table top which is formica and difficult to scratch. I paid thousands of dollar to have this company pack and move my family from one home to another home, 12 miles apart. When we went to look at the home they moved us from, they left tons of stuff in the old home including hanging pictures they removed off the wall, all of our laundry room, half of one of our bathrooms, the hallway closet, and the entryway closet. They mixed clean clothes from the drawers with dirty clothes from The laundry baskets. They didn't bring enough boxes to pack my home. I attempted to reach out to the company to resolve the issue and was told by their lead mover that he would personally return the next day and move the items left. Almost a week later the stuff remained at the old home. I reached out to the owner, dead silence. Our new hardwood floors were scratched by them, as well. They put frozen food under a bunch of other boxes and didn't tell us it was there, so we lost all of our freezer. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I'd give this company a zero if I could. My parents, who are elderly, hired this company to move last week. On Friday they told her that her window will be 12noon to 5pm. Today (9-19-21) at 1pm, they called and said they will arrive between 2pm and 3pm. We waited& waited, and they never showed by 3pm. No one called to tell they would be late. At 4:15pm my mom called the driver "Buddah" who said they are going to eat first and will show up after. We waited until 5:15pm & they still haven't shown up. We called the supervisor, Peter. who was apologetic & patched us through to the driver. Mind you, this is at 5:15pm. The driver said they were in Beaumont, which was 25 minutes away. Which is now making them 2.5 hours late. When questioning the driver "Buddah", he started laughing at my mom on the phone. I have never ever experienced this kind of unprofessionalism from anyone. When they finally showed up around 530pm there was only 2 guys. My mom hired 3 for a 3 hour Job. 2 men (young men in their 20s) showed up with crappy attitudes. Buddah said, "if you want to hire someone else you can, we can't move all this stuff in three hours" The other one (who was very unprofessional) literally said, "I'd rather go home anyway" I have never heard such rude & unprofessional comments from movers. These two poorly represents The Greek Movers and definitely do not live up to its promises on their website. Sad part is, Peter, the supervisor, told us Buddha was their best employee. Ha!! We have moved twice in the last three years and have used Greek Movers both times. Peter is always very quick to respond to my inquiries and answers my questions. On the day of the move, Justin, Dylan, Eli and Richard arrived and made quick work of all of our boxes and furniture. Including our upright piano. Justin and Drew were quick workers, but also very careful (they disconnected and reconnected the washer and dryer too). Terrible moving company. They did not wrap any of the furniture, took very long, moving at a slow pace. I stopped the job halfway through due to the owner being unprofessional.
