Same great Food Truck-new location! They have moved to a new location in Enumclaw on the corner of First St. and Stevenson Ave. This is near QFC and across the street from the Chase Bank. The couple that run this business are wonderful. Give them a try.

Love love love these people at Athenas at The Claw. Garry and Maria and their daughter Carla do such an amazing job at serving our community through our tastebuds. Garry is an amazing man and is genuinely a fun guy to chat with. I highly recommend ordering a delicious traditional Greek gyro - ask for a side of Greek vinaigrette. In the meantime while you wait for your food, chat him up about the History of Athena's. He went from working at a hardware store to owning and operating this incredible food trailer--a true hometown success story fueled by passion, grit, and flavor. I think the The Courier-Herald could do an amazing story on them.

The couple running this food truck is absolutely so freaking adorable. You can tell they truly care about their customers and I was watching the wife prep everything and wash stuff as we were ordering! We waited about 10 min for food, quick turn around and the husband working the till is so sweet. Such a sweet soul and they have such a cute little doggy that sits in the back shed protecting them. She is so so adorable and just sits there being so adorable minding her own business. Overall highly highly recommend! The food is absolutely delicious!!

Yum, that hit the spot. Thank you Athena's for feeding these hungry hikers I had a Falafel Gyro and hubs went all carnivore and ordered a Traditional Lamb & Beef Gyro. We both really enjoyed our Gyros, though would have appreciated a few more veggies. We'll definitely be back to try the Gyro Fries & their Baklava after our next Rainier hike

This is exactly what we needed after a day hiking in Mount Rainier National Park! It's one of the first pieces of civilization you encounter on your way out from the park. It took about 40 minutes to get there after leaving the park. It's located next to a hotel in a large parking area, pretty hard to miss it. We got there around 3PM on a Friday and there were two other groups there. We ordered two gyros and garlic fries, totaling out to $38. The gyros were exactly what we needed to refuel ourselves. They were pretty heavy with the tzatziki but aside from that it was good! The garlic fries were a disappointment unfortunately. It was just way too much jarred garlic. But the fries themselves were so crispy! There are three tables for seating options which is convenient. And the people working there were so sweet! I'd definitely recommend it!

Reviewing again just to rave some more!! I have eaten a lot of French Fries in my lifetime but none as good as these. From the moment you get it in your car you're salivating from the aroma of those hot salty fries!! Get em home and they're still crispy with tender middles. Oh my goodness they are the best. Also love the Greek Salad, NY style Gyro and the Hercules Burger. Oh and why is the 3 piece chicken strip meal so huge (and equally delicious ). Service was as expected for a Friday night (20+ minutes but I knew it beforehand as I ordered online through 'streetfoodfinder' website). Thanks Athena's!!!

Friendly customer service, fair prices and one of the best gyros I've ever had! I took mine to go, but they had a cute little spot set up with a couple tables and chairs if you wanted to enjoy your food there. The portion size was just right and I loved that the gyro had Kalamata olives. Delicious! I'll definitely be back.

Delish falafel gyro! Not to mention, also huge. Their tzatziki sauce is drinkable. Tomatoes, kalmata olives, onions, lettuce and feta cheese also. Unassuming little food truck- but so worth the stop. I could only eat half! Truly gluttonous.

Great lunch!! I had the chicken Caesar wrap. Really a pita sandwich. Loaded with chicken and very tasty. Friends had the fish n chips and raved. Hot, crispy and perfectly cooked. Another had the Athena burger and loved it, along with Greek fries which were loaded and fantastic. Can't believe this great food came ftom a food truck! Highly recommended.

Unexpectedly ran into Athena's while truck shopping a couple weeks ago in Enumclaw. Didn't know we were in for a very pleasant experience and tasty lunch! We ordered on the online app and took a seat on the outdoor patio furniture as we enjoyed the weather and waited for our order. We ordered the Traditional Lamb and Beef and the New York Style Gyro, both were amazing! The Gyro's were so fresh and delicious. We had our go-to spots in Tacoma that we thought were really good, but Athena's just made them seem okay and raised our standard. Can't wait to stop by again on our way to the mountain! Please visit this spot, won't disappoint!

The meat is so tender and delicious.

But first, let's make like Marty McFly and go back in time. My bud says let's go meet up for burgers and brew. I'm like, "Sure, don't gotta ask me twice." And off we went. My mind was blown by all the things in such close proximity of each other... I mean like a parking lot closeness. We got some serious grub burgers, with a brewery next door to enjoy said tasty meat patties. With a distillery in the back/front, and a wine or tea bar on the other side. You don't have to go far to stumble or crawl. Ok... moving forward... back to Burger Buds! I had no idea this was the original truck or location. I live out in the Maple Valley area, and we frequent that burger buds often. However, every time I go, I always want to try a new burger. And the Wenatchee was calling my name. Something about crisp Washington apples and cheese just sounded good with some candied bacon. C'mon son! Not to mention their fries! We ordered our food, found a place to sit down inside the brewery, ordered some cider, and once the food was ready, we just sat and hung out and enjoyed conversation. This is a perfect location! So hats off to the owners of Burger Buds and Headworks Brewery for their joint adventure! Thank you for the experience and as always, enjoy and found a new Happy Place!

The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

McDonald's doesnt even do that anymore). They also have fish, they make their own homemade chowder (yet to try), sandwiches, etc. My kids learned to like white fish by trying the fish here. Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. During our visit it was 'seat yourself' and a waitress came right over with menus and took our drink order. As it was early, we ordered coffee and water. Coffee is good and hot. Cream on table with salt, pepper, hot sauce and ketchup. Our beverages were brought over by another staff member, Paula, who told us our waitress would be right with us. Except she wasn't. After ten minutes I was worried. After 20 minutes I was getting concerned. Our waitress showed up shortly there after and we placed our order. Paula came around a few times refilling coffees, clearing tables and bringing checks. I wandered into their bakery area while waiting for our food, took photos, read the info there and then out to the historic bar area to check it out. You can order cakes and cheese cakes from their bakery as well as take a slice to-go, or enjoy a slice in house. Our waitress saw me there on her way into the kitchen and asked if I needed something. "No, just looking". OK then. We think our waitress was working both the kitchen and the dining room which is why she was often out of sight. So two staff in FOH with one of them helping BOH. That's a lot. She brought our food when ready plus a selectiin of jams for our english muffin. We asked for silverware which she promotly brought. The marionberry jam, a hybrid blackberry from Oregon, is excellent. The food is quite good. Corned beef hash is without a doubt made fresh. Big pieces of shredded beef with potatoes and lots of fresh spices. This hash has a zing to it. We both ordered the small portion of their corned beef so it came with one egg (instead of two) and we chose english muffin (instead of toast) and got half each (vs. a whole each). With a side of their potatoes, which were also good and plentiful, we had enough left overs for breakfast the next day. Which we also enjoyed. All told, we were in and out in one hour. Food was very good. We always had coffee. We thought our waitress was unfriendly, but she's just super busy. So five stars for holding down the dining rooms with two staff members and serving tasty, well prepared food. Paula processed our card payment. Forgot to check out the restrooms. I think they are in the last dining area (where a big business meeting of some company was going on at the time) behind the bar room.

Pita Burrito, Carne Asada ($16.27) - Huge burrito incoming, probably over 2 lb. I would say similar to Mission-sized, but the interior ingredients are not quite up to standard. Still, very impressive for the region. There's a large tortilla, warm and pliable, absolutely filled with tons of stuff. Firstly, a very good portion of beef, not seasoned much other than salt, but giving a great beefy flavor. The beef chunks are crisped up on the flat top perfectly, giving plenty of texture. This does dry out the meat, so there's a tradeoff, but that's what the cheese, guac and sour cream are for. Enough moisture is included so that, while not nearly as messy to eat as a typical Mission burrito, it's enough for each bite. There's a well balanced portion of rice and beans as well. The construction is pretty good so the burrito can be eaten in the hand without issues. (5/5) Is this the best burrito in the world, as some people seem to think? No way, but I think it's very solid for being in Washington and is one of the best I've had since moving to the state. Note: Pita's charges a little extra for credit card usage. I'm not sure how much percentage (it was 27 cents for us), and I don't recall them having a sign up stating they charge for credit cards.
