Until recently, our experiences were consistently positive. Unfortunately, since the management change, the level of customer service has become unacceptable and declined significantly. I recently spoke directly with the manager Dilai regarding a concern, I expected professionalism, active listening and a willingness to resolve the issue but instead the experience was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening and trying to understand the issue, she repeatedly interrupted and kept repeating the same statements without addressing what I was actually saying. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The conversation was frustrating, dismissive, and completely unproductive. What made the situation even more concerning was that, despite our long history as customers, the staff seemed unfamiliar with us and were asking basic questions about my daughters that should have already been understood in the context of our relationship with the center. The manager Dilai also promised to call me back, but never followed through. A simple follow-up is a basic expectation of customer service, especially when a manager personally commits to it. Failing to do so only reinforced the feeling that customer concerns are no longer valued. The most disappointing part is that this was not a one-time interaction with a front-desk employee, it was my experience with the manager Dilai herself. Leadership sets the standard for customer service, and based on this experience, that standard has fallen dramatically. Loyal customers are the foundation of any successful business. We deserve to be listened to, treated with respect, and have our concerns acknowledged. Sadly, that was not my experience. I sincerely hope ownership takes a closer look at what is happening under the current management because the difference is noticeable, and not in a positive way.

I will start off that I live in Truckee, CA and visit my daughter in Tracy, CA. Here in Truckee, there is a nail salon that I have been a customer. About 7 months ago while visiting my daughter, I tried Magical Nails because my daughter has been and is a customer for many years; I was and am so very pleased with their customer service; the way she takes care of and makes my nails looks beautiful. Diane checks my nails to make sure they need repairing, or any lifting that needs to be taken care of. Always very accomodating to walk-ins; the pedicure ladies are very thorough and friendly to the customers. My choice is nails and waxing of my eyebrows. I do not want pedicures which is my choice; but I know my daughter does the pedicures and is very pleased. My rating for Diane's Magical Nails is superior. A very appreciative customer. read more

I have been having acryllic/gel nails done for over 30 years. I switched to Magical Nails a little over seven months ago and am really happy with them. The shop is clean and decorated very nicely. Both Calvin and Dianna are very friendly and Dianna does a perfect job for me. I am extremely hard to please and if the nails are not done perfectly, it bothers me alot (to the point of being obsessive compulsive!). After my second trip there, Dianna knew exactly what needed to be done to make me happy. I babysit my grandson who is still in diapers, therefore, I can't afford to have sharp corners, yet I like to have the square-round shape. She does them perfectly. There is nothing worse than having your nails done and then having to go home and redo them! This has not happened since I switched to Magical Nails. I would recommend them highly! read more

Calvin and Diana are awesome. I was in town randomly with my husband and in need to get a mani and pedi. I've done acrylic nails in the past and now just do gel. When I made the appointment over the phone Diana suggested for me to do dipping on my nails which I knew about it but didn't know any salons that performed it. When I came in Calvin explained it and I got it done. It's an amazing process and I will never get gel manicures ever again. I'm so particular with my nails and have never been satisfied wherever I go. I live in Pleasanton and I will for sure drive up to Tracy to get my nails done by them. Since moving to Tracy in 2009, I tried a few different nail salons before finally stumbling upon this gem. Have been a loyal customer ever since. I always get my nails done by Diana, who is great at what she does.
