    Almond croissant
    Casonnie L.

The service was excellent. The girls did everything to please me. Unfortunately the Croque Monsieur is cold and then heated up in a microwave. It was initially served whole and it was cold in the middle of the sandwich. Once heated again, it was returned cut in half and still a bit cold in the middle. The edges became hot and hard. The béchamel in the sandwich was overly seasoned with nutmeg. The almond croissant was cold (maybe out of the refrigerator) therefore the pastry was gummy and not flaky. Nothing was fresh, which was very disappointing. My expectations were higher for a French bakery. I ordered a multigrain baguette to take home (I will find out soon the outcome). I won't come back to this one.

"We got a winner" This place has it all: Wine, baked treats, sandwiches for lunch, chocolate confections for gifting or indulging in some self love, assorted coffees made fresh to order and those perfectly crafted macaroons. This is the kind of place you want to take your time to explore the world of options that they have available, but also lens itself to zipping in for a quick bite during a lunch break. The staff is courteous and bilingual, which was a pleasant and welcome surprise, and was greeted as soon as I walked in. There are comfortable seating areas and a plus is that no matter where you choose to rest, there is no blank boring wall to look at. The layout of the store and sure that no matter where you look, there is plenty to keep you engaged and entertained. Tip: I eyed a Saint Honore treat when I first walked in and made sure I paid for it and had it boxed ahead of time to ensure it would be there when I left. These delicious desserts are made to order so ensure that their popularity doesn't mean you are left without Maybe the delectable Parisian treats are the friends we made along the way.

Food is good but far too expensive. I ordered 2 mini quiches and 2 pastries with a cappuccino to for $31, plus the request for tip on the tablet. I try to tip generously wherever I go. But if I'm picking up myself, the tip should be totally my option. The service was also not so good, I stayed waiting for a while until someone came to offer me help. The place looked clean and pleasant for a dining-in experience.

1 of the best croissants I've had, almond croissants. Great size for the price and they're fresh and can be warmed up. They have a variety of breads and croissants, along with other options in their bakery. They do have breakfast options but I haven't had a chance to try them yet. I'm only rating their croissants, which I purchased the Nutella, Almond and regular croissant. All 3 go well with some coffee. In addition they do have some gelato options and the passionfruit was delicious, took a pint to go. It's a small place so not a ton of seating but a great place to have some morning coffee and pastry.

Everything is so incredibly delicious from this place. I've been a few times and it never disappoints. The almond croissants are divine. Their so moist, on the inside its a soft almond dough with the outside being crunchy and covered in powdered sugar. The quiche is the best you will ever try. The macarons are a reminder of my visit to France. Very impressed with the quality of everything I've tasted.

This place is so delish for both sweet and salty treats! I got a warm spinach and broccoli quiche that was very light and delish. My favorite thing ever though is the almond croissants! They have a huge selection but the almond will always be my favorite. They have a nice area to sit down and enjoy your food and drinks and the service is very quick!

This spot has a wide selection of wine, which I was not expecting until I walked in. The physical location inside is a bit overwhelming, in terms of spacing, and how many products of wine and other items collected around the store. They do not have a full kitchen to make breakfast. They only have the pastries and sandwiches in the glass displays upon walking in. They have options for your coffee preferences! *Regular milk / *Oatmilk / *Almond milk And they have honey and other sugar alternatives that the customer can add themself once the coffee is given to you. Ordered (they warm it up in their oven): *Ham and Cheese croissant, 5 stars - great flavor and texture *Veggie croissant (eggplant), 4 stars - great flavor, the egg plant was still cold in the middle, it should have been left a bit longer in the oven and on a lower temp. (avoid over baking/burning). *Small cappuccino with Oatmilk, 3 stars - the oatmilk did not taste to be of the highest quality.

Over the years, Atelier Monnier has been my go-to place for birthday cakes to impress and diet breaking-worthy croissants. They have always been excellent as well as the service. Today I went there to purchase a cake for a birthday. This review is for the service and products I purchased today. When I entered, one of the ladies at the counter asked if she could help me. I asked the price of one of the cakes and after answering me, seemed a bit put off that I was asking and began to look away from me the remainder of the transaction. I told her I would like the cake and a croissant. She rang up the order and it wasn't until I added a gratuity on the order that she became attentive to say, "Thank you. That was nice". When I got home to inspect the cake, it was disappointed to see that despite having handled the cake with great care that it did not have the same appearance as in the shop. I am going to write this one off to them having an off day.

My husband and I came for their wine and food pairing tasting on a Sunday afternoon. William was our knowledgeable sommelier, who explained how to pair wines with certain foods. I learnt a lot. Beautiful store located in Pinecrest. We ended up buying two bottles of red. We also got to sample some of their pastries and cakes which were paired with their wine choices. I especially loved their chocolate mouse cake, their chocolate macaron and their almond croissant.. all to die for!

    Delicious!

Service is great, the wine selection was disappointing, croissants and pain au chocolat did pass the test.

The old Starbucks was gone. In its place. The French Connection. Now that's a name. We stepped inside and immediately felt it. Warmth. Chocolate in the air. Espresso pulling somewhere behind the counter like a well-tuned engine. We ordered two chocolate lattes. Not mocha. Not syrupy dessert drinks pretending to be coffee. These were the real thing. Deep. Rich. Smooth. The kind of drink that makes you slow down and reconsider your schedule. Then came the almond croissant. Massive. Flaky. Golden. Warmed just enough so the almond filling softened and the outer layers shattered with every bite. We looked at it. Looked at each other. There was no way we were each taking one down solo. So we split it. Civilized. Strategic. For the girls, we secured a Dubai chocolate bar. Yes, it's priced like it was imported in a diplomatic pouch. But it delivered. Smooth, luxurious, and worth the mission. And then we met Karen. Owner. Operator. The woman running the whole show. She was behind the counter, serving the coffee herself. No pretense. No ego. Just genuine excitement about her café and about making sure we had a great experience. Six months in, and you can feel that startup energy. That spark. The kind that says this isn't just a business. It's personal. The French Connection isn't flashy. It's not trying to be the loudest place in the mall. It's confident. Cozy. Understated. Like a well-cut suit. On a cold Miami day, it felt like we'd slipped quietly into a corner of Paris without ever leaving Kendall. Mission accomplished. We'll be back.
