There was no one at the front desk to check me in, but there was a guy back in another area. He screamed something at me but I didn't hear him. Just assumed someone would be back soon. I took a seat and waited. After 10 minutes I walked back to the window to remind him I was still waiting. He was bored and just twirling in his seat. We made eye contact. He never said another word to me. Another patient walked in and sat down to wait too. She called someone and they told her to scan the code on a sign posted to the side of the check in window. Why isn't that code inside the check in window, so it can't be missed? Sick people need simple instructions. I didn't have the app to scan the code on my I pad. I tried holding my large device up to scan the code but was too weak to frame it on my first 4 attempts. I sat down to review I was downloading a FREE App. I was going to have to register an account and set up personal information just to check into the clinic. Really? This is a walk in clinic for sick, weak, old people folks! Check in for people that aren't at their best. What if they don't have the capability on their device? The screaming guy in the back was just twirling in his chair. He couldn't get out his chair to at least come to the window to address me? I grabbed my stuff and shuffled back to my car planning on grabbing my phone from home and going elsewhere. Unfortunately I prefer to use the outstanding and personal attention of an independent pharmacy that isn't open late. Therefore, I returned to this place in the essence of time. To be checked in, complete their paperwork, be seen and the required medical I needed to be forwarded to my pharmacy with enough time to drive there and pick it up before they closed. Time was paramountly important! I stated exactly what I needed including the exact medication I needed refilled. The nurse that took my vitals was extremely nice. I have no complaints with her at all. After a 20 minute wait the CNP entered and examined me shortly. My labs were completed while I waited. She informed me she could refill 1 of the 2 RX's I needed?! But only 1 not both that I needed to lower my exceedingly high BP! Dangerously high BP! Life ending level BP that could be lowered with the RX she doesn't write! I asked why? She doesn't write the type of medication I needed? I understand in today's society why one may refuse to contribute to society's current issue of drug seeking patients bad habits. I truly understand. Here's my issue. If this nurse practitioner is the only professional able to write descriptions on duty, and I have clearly written my objectives on my intake paperwork, DON'T waste my time! Don't take my co-payment, make me wait only to tell me you can't fulfill my needs! ALL MY NEEDS! Not some of my requests, because the other one needs to be addressed asap too. I felt like a caged animal and almost lost my mind! On my way out I stopped by the nurse and as kindly as I could mustered told her she should be allowed to inform patients the medication refills they need is one the CNP doesn't write so time and money isn't wasted. I totally understand why she may not want to pay the higher insurance premiums to cover her for writing the class of medicine I needed. Just don't waste my time! I wrote exactly what I needed! It was reviewed by 3 people! I resisted having a physical outrageously stupid reaction. But I really felt like it. I worked at trying to lower my breathing because again, my BP is exceedingly high and I still need to get to a facility able to provide the lifesaving treatments I require immediately and send in a short term solution until my next appointment with my regular doctor. Everything that can be proven via access to my pharmacy records available to anyone with a current passcode to the database. I'm going to closely review what my insurance company is billed for this worthless visit and dispute any frivolous charges. I ended up at the facility my mind told me to drive to initially but I decided to try this place instead. Never again will I darken their doorstep. If I could give less than 1 star I would. There's not even a doctor listed working there. I respect CNP, but dang!

I looked the place up on Facebook and found the business page. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a minority owned business so I decided to make an appointment. I'm almost 28 weeks pregnant and I took advantage of a 4th of July special I saw on their Facebook page. The location was easy to find and the owner was very friendly. The inside is nicely decorated. My technician took more time than I was allotted to try to get a good picture of my baby. My baby just was not in the mood for pictures today. Lol! Even though my baby was stubborn, I had a good experience and I'd come back to try for another peek before I deliver. You should give this business a try!
