We stopped by because my gf's a car girl so of course this place caught her attention. We were definitely not disappointed. I ordered the chocolate razz and she ordered a strawberry matcha, both were super tasty. The place itself is so bright and open, with a very relaxed atmosphere. The girl who attended us, Danny (I think?) was incredibly friendly and approachable. I would definitely come back here.

Stopped by after running an errand nearby. It has a cool vibe with a few seated arcade-style driving simulators, a big window where you can watch the actual shop in action, and a nice little dog-friendly area outside. I went with a Rosé latte and an almond danish. The danish was pretty good. The latte, though... it was a bit too diluted. I mostly tasted rosé syrup with barely any coffee coming through. Overall, it's was a cool find. Wish I lived closer so I could give it another shot and try a few more things. Solid spot if you're in the area!

Blueberry Matcha Latter

Love a hidden gem moment like this Stopped by AT230 while covering another office and I'm so glad I did. The interior is absolutely adorable with a full car theme throughout -- and they even have racing simulators inside, which makes the whole vibe feel playful and immersive. Beyond drinks, they also offer fresh bakery items and even ramen machines (which is such a fun, unexpected touch). Everything on the menu sounded incredible, but I went with the Blueberry Matcha Latte -- and it did not disappoint. The blueberry jam is homemade, not overly sweet, with real blueberry pieces throughout. The uji matcha is smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced in both sweetness and creaminess. Every sip felt thoughtfully crafted. On top of that, the staff were warm, hospitable, and attentive from start to finish. Easy 5 stars. Definitely a spot I'd come back to -- and next time, I might have to try the ramen too .

Such an awesome spot for coffee and car enthusiasts! You can bring your car in for basic services like tinting or wheel changes, and they also have a car sims station you can play for a few bucks per set amount of game time. Looks like there are competition events on certain days too. You can really tell they take pride in their craft coffee as well. I tried the seasonal espresso mule (ginger beer + espresso) and the banana latte. They did mention the espresso mule can be an acquired taste, but since I love ginger drinks, I enjoyed it. The banana latte had a strong banana flavor, though it felt like a bit too much honey was added. Some of it hadn't fully melted and settled at the bottom. Still tasty overall. There was plenty of comfortable seating and even games available. We ended up playing an intense game of Jenga while sipping our drinks.

I have friends who really love cars and I myself really love and own reptiles, and of course we all love a good cup of something sweet to drink or as a pick me up, so this is the perfect venn diagram cross over of all of our interests. I have heard of this cars and coffee cafe before and didn't realize that it was so close to me, but honestly, the first thing that drew me to this business was a picture of the owner's bearded dragon, as a beardie owner myself HUGE PLUS and thank you for representing! There's parking to the side and street parking all around. The workers were super friendly and answered all of our questions. Everything is made then and there so it may take some time depending on how complicated your order is or how busy the cafe is but no worries. You can look at all the decor that they have, read through the car services that they provide (they have free alignment testing!), look through their merchandise for sale, take a gander at their small clown fish and coral tank, or do some driving/racing simulator. My friends and I visited when they were having a cars and coffee and reptile event (again, the perfect cross over) and we were able to look at the merch they have, some reptiles available (some beardies, leopard geckos, and even baby tegus and Asian water monitors, as well as a Lewisi hybrid iguana), some snakes, and even some isopods and clean up crew. They also had the Herpquarters enclosures vendor there and I always enjoy looking at his set ups at reptile shows so this was a treat to be able to ask any questions I had and they were even raffling away one of their luxurious enclosures. My friend and I got their seasonal fall drinks which were the: 1) Salted Caramel Mocha Latte: -I got this half sweet and with less ice. -It's sea salt caramel, chocolate sauce and double espresso. I safely took a couple sips and it's a perfect blend of sweet chocolate and the saltiness of the caramel. Definitely would have kept me up the rest of the night, so I saved it in the fridge for the next day and it was still perfectly delicious. 2) Honey Crisp Matcha Latte: -My friend got a hot version of this and there's some foam on the top. Comes out piping hot so don't let this fool you. Blow some cool air on it and enjoy. -It's apple and honey syrup with cinnamon in matcha. It's like an apple pie with ending earthy matcha notes. Delicious. They also have donuts there and instant ramen too if you want something savory. We came around an hour before closing, but I would love to come here to hang out longer in the future and try out more of their menu.

Stopped by here while I was in the area after an appointment with the intention of getting some homework and studying done & this was a perfect spot. I ended up being here for hours, who ever the really kind barista was working Friday morning was amazing! Let her know it was my first time and she went over menu and let me know their popular drinks. I ended up getting two iced Spanish lattes while I was there. I was there awhile but it was sooo good!! Overall very cool shop, loved the layout and the theme and interior + plus they also have a cute dog friendly patio. I would 10/10 come back

Coffee break but make it pit stop vibes We found street parking Came here on a Tuesday afternoon The vibe is so coool Chill astronauts everywhere feels like a space garage We ordered the Smokey latte and I got the matcha, both were really good! Usually matchas are too sweet but this was perfect like how I make at home !! They had a hot water ramen bar for quick refuels ! There was also a fish tank, and a bearded dragon in a tank as well. There were also car race games while you wait because why not There's lots of seating inside and outside, good music. Nice place to hang out Honestly the coolest way to kill time at an auto shop

Stopped by to get coffee for a birthday and the baristas were so super nice!! They were patient with drink recommendations and gave us a 50% for the birthday! They also have a game where if you stop the clock at 10 seconds, you get a free drink and I stopped it at 10 seconds!! They were super kind and generous! We got the old Smokey and their seasonal salted caramel mocha, both were great and perfect amount of sweetness! We liked that the salted caramel mocha wasn't too overpowering and I still got a great coffee flavor. The old Smokey flavors were subtle and calm. The inside ambiance was also really great! My friend is a car snob and loved the place. They had comfy seating, outlets if you wanted to work, a terrarium and aquarium. They also had racing simulations that you can pay for! Overall a really great cozy spot, you can also get your car done and there are games to play as well. They have an outdoor grassy dog area too. Will definitely be back when we're in the area! There's so much to do and perfect for any type of nerds haha, truly where coffee meets cars!

Giannina C.

Love the concept! The ambience is chill and cool. My drink was tasty! I had a taro iced coffee. The bathroom and the place were clean. Is also nice that there is a big window where you can see how they work on the cars.

The vibes of this cafe is so cute (as a none car person). I came on a Sunday and they also had a lot of small businesses selling their handmade stuff. Parking behind or street parking. Tiramisu latte was creamy and rich. Strawberry Matcha tasted like it had fresh strawberries and not strawberry syrup, matcha didn't taste like dirt, very refreshing.

Kurtis C.

Been wanting to check out AT230 for quite some time. It's a cool spot, especially for car enthusiasts. They do DJ events some times on Sundays. Definitely more fun than your average coffee shop that's for sure, but I guess coffee shops aren't exactly a meant to be a "fun" environment. I think AT230 strikes a perfect balance between chill and fun/interesting. I ordered a cold brew because I dislike hot beverages and I like my coffee straight up - no cream, sugar, syrup, etc. Unfortunately it was the most sour cold brew I have *ever* tasted in all my years. I'm not a coffee snob or aficionado by any means, but it could be better and definitely needs improvement to put it nicely. Beverages aside, they have a few racing sims set up which is awesome, a clear view of the garage, a beautiful wall full of expensive/nice wheels, and car services should you ever need things done like an alignment or tinting, etc. There's a list of labor rates at the counter by the cashier. As mentioned in the beginning, AT230 is definitely a spot worthy of scoping out especially if you're into cars. Saw some nice builds parked outside while I was there. Anyway, really cool spot for sure. I'd pass on the cold brew if I were you, but hopefully their other beverages are better.

Chris S.

Amazing coffee shop to hang out at if you're an auto enthusiast, coffee fanatic, or visiting with dogs. AT230 checks all the boxes with plenty of seating, a racing sim area, dog-friendly outdoor space, a cool terrarium setup, a window into the car shop, and some auto themed swag for sale. Most importantly, the drinks are great making it an ideal cars and coffee spot.

SocialMedia S.

Best coffee in La Habra, great performance options, really good tint services, really love the racing simulators, love the weekend car meets, staff is really friendly, merch is cool too!

The inside is well lit, and comfortably decorated to make you feel at home if you choose to enjoy your coffee inside. They've also got an outdoor patio, for those who prefer this. The menu has a variety of selections, ranging from coffees, to matchas. There's something for everyone here! I opted for the Big Island Latte, and a chocolate chip cookie. The latte has a nice coconut flavor, while still retaining that taste of the coffee beans. It's a solid option for someone that wants more of a coffee taste versus sweet/milk. The chocolate chip cookie has that cookie smell - not something you'd smell from a packaged box in a grocery store. Its taste has hints of chocolate, without that overpowering the cookie itself. It's right between the soft/hard texture, in that sweet spot. The service is fantastic - kind, quick, efficient. No complaints, nothing that fell short. If you're in the area or passing by, and fancy yourself a coffee or sweet treat, stop on by!

Since we had never been to Tierra Mia before, we weren't very familiar with the menu, so we sat in our car beforehand and looked over the online menu before going inside. When we walked in, we were looking at the pastries when the cashier asked if we were ready. I told her she could help the lady behind us because she thought we were in line. There was no "hello" or greeting--just, "Are you ready?" I overheard the other lady ordering, and it sounded like she was also unfamiliar with the menu because she was asking questions about the ingredients in the drinks. From what I could tell, the cashier seemed a little annoyed that she was taking longer than expected. When it was finally our turn, I started giving her our order one drink at a time. She stayed quiet, so I continued with the next drink, and she responded, "Um, hold on," while giving me an annoyed look. I stopped and waited, then continued with the rest of our order. I also ordered the tres leches muffin because my daughter had previously bought me one and it was SO delicious. It's definitely very moist, especially toward the bottom, so you really need a fork or spoon to eat it. I asked if they had a spork, but unfortunately they don't carry them, which was a little disappointing considering the texture of the muffin. I don't know if the cashier was simply having a bad day, but honestly, that shouldn't be something customers have to experience. We all work, and we all have stressful moments, but professionalism and basic courtesy should still be maintained when interacting with customers. As a Latina, I really wanted to support this Latino-owned business and give it a try, but unfortunately, the customer service left me disappointed. The muffin was delicious, but the interaction with the cashier definitely affected my overall experience. Hopefully, management can address this because a welcoming attitude goes a long way. The drinks were good but nothing I would return for other than that dang muffin

Ambiance/Service (4/5): Tastefully decorated, it's got Asian boho meets MC modern feel to it. It's brightly lit inside with soft white lamps and decent seating for larger and smaller groups. Layout is surprisingly done in a way where it doesn't feel overly cramped even if most seats are filled out. Service is okay. You order at a kiosk and they call your name when the order is up. Not too much interaction or sight of the workers outside of them dropping off the drinks and/or calling out names. Drinks (4/5): Their drinks are pretty good and scratch the itch for some decent sweet treat. I've had their strawberry snow and tropical snow (strawberry/lychee) on separate occasions with boba. Yes, the drinks are a bit pricier than other places, but the ingredients taste pretty fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. The boba is admittedly not my favorite; it comes out a little too soft and slightly gummy without the nice bounce texture, but the coldness of my drinks make it slightly more pleasant after it cools and hardens a bit. Overall, this is a decent place to get a fix when you're craving a decent drink.
