This review is solely for the manager, Jai. We went in for an online return with a receipt. Should be pretty simple, right? Well there was an issue so the cashier had to call a manager over. As soon as Jai comes over she has a terrible attitude. We explain we have a receipt and the items with tags still on but she refuses to help. After a little back and forth (with a ton of attitude from her) she just walks away. How unprofessional. She continues to stand nearby glaring at us and throwing comments our way. We asked her nicely to step away from us while we were speaking with another manager and she refused. THEN SHE THREATENED TO FIGHT US IN THE PARKING LOT!!! We have never had an experience like this and will not be returning. Everyone else in the store who helped us was great. read more

I must say, I wasn't entirely impressed with this At Home location. We normally go to the Greenfield store, but were in the area (and in search of some holiday decor) so decided to stop by this one. The store itself is very clean and well-kept, but I felt like the selection was really slacking. Tons of shelves and section were completely empty. And many items they did have seemed on the cheap side. However I will say my kiddos were very enthralled with the giant (and I mean GIANT) blow up lawn decor selection. Santa, snowmen, Grinch, rudolph and more. Definitely come here if these are what you're after. In general though, this maybe just not the spot for holiday shopping for me, and instead referring here for more general home-needs. Pillows, furniture, lamps, rugs, frames, organizers... the list goes on. They're also fairly well-priced on most items! read more

We were looking for patio furniture recently, which brought us to At Home. It's a little bizarrely organized, some of the quality of their selection is sorely lacking, and the service is most times nonexistent, but one thing At Home does well is selection. You won't find a few patio sets to choose from, you'll find a couple dozen. It's like that with everything they carry-long aisles filled from top to bottom with candles, pillows, wall art etc. It can be overwhelming. You definitely have to be in the right sort of mood to tackle a shopping visit to At Home. When we're in the market for something for our home, At Home is typically one of the stops we make. That said, our trips there have been a little hit or miss. We did purchase a table for our sun room there, which we've been very happy with for 3 years. We also got an area rug (their area rug selection is insane). And, this past fall we picked up a small, decorative cupboard for our basement bathroom. We didn't find our patio table set here this time, but we'll continue stopping by when we're looking for something for our home. During this time (COVID19), they are offering curbside pickup if you aren't feeling comfortable walking around the store. They're also open with usual hours and social distancing was easily accomplished when we were there. read more

At Home is....something else, for sure. They call themselves a "home superstore" and I'd say that is 100% true. It's like the Woodman's of home stuff, meaning that they have just about everything and that it's cheap. Want throw pillows? There are 4 aisles of them. Tacky bejeweled standing candelabra? Present. Patio Furniture all year round? Look no further. Acres of rugs? They've got it. All that plus bed, bath, Tupperware, seasonal décor, laundry baskets, various glass jars, whole aisles of mirrors, and at least 10 aisles of wall hangings proclaiming "inspirational" sayings. There's even some furniture. Additionally, there was a huge section for seasonal décor with every possible iteration of fake Christmas trees including "dress" trees (see photo, WTF?) and wall trees which are 1/2 trees that fit flush against a wall? Okay then. Plus huge assortments of ornaments with themes like "Country Funk". I wish I were joking, but I'm not. Prices are very competitive so if you are looking to refresh a room on a budget, or have a specific theme this is an excellent spot. Most products are on the low-to-medium quality scale and almost all of it screams "I want to match a thing I saw on HGTV". For overall selection, I don't know that there's much in the area that can compete. To some degree it's both a plus and a negative - we were looking for a runner but honestly couldn't find it amongst the acres of choices and we never saw a single staffer. Personally, At Home isn't really my style but I think it's worth checking out even if just for the entertainment value. read more

I'm barely giving this place 2 stars. It is mostly a lot of rubbish. The thing I hate about places like this is there are a gazillion of everything. So that special mirror or shelf you want, well a gazillion other people probably have it. This is a big box store on speed. I prefer to find unique treasures when shopping for home goods. Not as though an occasional jaunt here wouldn't hurt, but truly this is not the place to find a one of a kind special little something for your home or as a gift... Aisles on aisles of stuff on top of stuff. That about sums up At Home. At Home won't be in My Home. We spent about an hour or so perusing the aisles to finally say we need to get out of this trap! Drive by if you value your sanity and the sacredness of your space at home! read more

Went yesterday in need of a few things left with way more than intended. This is the first time I have ever seen the store so organized and put together. What I would say and why I only gave a 4 star is the poor girl at the front had a long line and no one to help her check out. I think more than 1 teenage girl should be at registers especially in wake of the holiday season! Very happy! read more

I love this store, but the services at this location is horrible. Understaffed for such a huge store. The store is ALWAYS messy and it is almost impossible to look through the artwork due to it being so disorganized. Staff is not friendly. As for At Home itself- they have a great selection. It is like a huge TJMaxx/Home Goods. Some of the furniture is cheaply made, but the prices are decent. They have a huge selection of almost any home good you can think of. read more

Love the decorations for my home in this store. However bad experience today. Walked in for a return to find a line and no one at the registers. Waited for 5 minutes until Laquisha showed up. Found cute items, but wanted a rug. This department is in total disarray and needs serious reorganization. When to checkout again and no Laquisha. Another employee yelled out Laquisha there are customers here. You want to check out. Her response, no?!?! She slowly made her way over and checked me out. I had to request her to bag my glass items. No hello, thanks, or any comment. Very rude. I was a cashier for years at Best Buy and would have never been so rude. read more

The customer service at this location is horrible. And that includes the manager , who was of no help for something that should have been an easy fix. Because the product I bought was from another At Home location - he was rude and totally disrespectful of the issue I had- the hardware was missing from one of 2 drape poles we bought at the 27th St store/ they had no more left so I went to the Wauwatosa store- basically the attitude was "not my problem ". You're not a franchise - your a team - but not for this guy. read more

I had purchased 2 drape rods at another At Home store. One was missing hardware. The original store, had no more. So I went to the Wauwatosa store. I talked to the manager- and his attitude was he was not going to break up one of HIS boxes because of a problem at another store- Too bad you are not a franchise- all the AT home stores are a team. But apparently not in your simple mind. Its attitudes like that which cause retail stores to lose business. I hope you correct your attitude as its a poor reflection on your companys name- read more

Others touched on this, but this place is kind of a trip. It's like a Pinterest orgy between Bed Bath & Beyond, TJ Maxx, K-Mart, and Biglots. There are mirrors and pillows everywhere and I don't really want to be involved. I found the organization to be strange. I came in looking for a shower rod and bathroom stuff was scattered in 4 or 5 different isles, no where near one another. Also, I never found a shower rod. That being said, the prices seemed ok, I just didn't see anything I really wanted, and a lot of it looked or felt really shoddy. Maybe I'm not the target demo? Might be your jam if you need some candelabras or decorative stones? Either way, this is a place you can buy things, so I guess they've got that going...? read more

Whoa.. Just Whoa. 40,000 square feet of the cheapest, gaudiest home decor crap you don't need. Just imagine the home decor section of TJ Max, Home Goods, Kmart and Target rolled into one store and multiply it by 10. Then turn it up to 11. Did you every think "Hey, I need 18,000 throw pillows in every color of the puke-rainbow?" Well, here is your place to find them. Every think "Hey, where did all of that crap you see at Goodwill come from?" I'm guessing it came from here. I am actually surprised that there wasn't an Ocean-going cargo ship parked around back unloading sea container after sea container through the back door. All of this crap looks like it was made in a sweat shop in Indo-Chinaland. If that's what your looking for, then fine. You've found your Valhalla. Here's the breakdown: 1. Selection: 5. You won't find more anywhere else. Today is the first of October and there is more patio furniture on display then there is at Home Depot in May. There is also more Christmas stuff on display than there will be at Stein's in December. 2. Quality: 1. Not impressed. It all looks like it will fall apart tomorrow. There was furniture on display with broken hardware. This store just opened a few weeks ago. 3. Price. Not commensurate with quality. If you sell cheap crap, then make it cheap. The prices weren't terrible, this Hobo quality at Farm and Fleet prices. 4. Store Layout: 3. You won't need a GPS, but you will need a map, probably. 5. Service: 1. Does anyone work here? Watch your receipts and the way your items ring up very carefully! Poor customer service and business practices. Purchased a rug that had a clearance sticker on it. Got home only to realize that they did not apply the clearance discount. Took the receipt, rug, and packaging in to get a price adjustment only to be refused a price adjustment and told by a male manager "That's not how we mark our clearance." when there are multiple other rugs and items marked the exact same way as the rug I purchased. When I pointed this out I was then told that even if an item is marked as clearance it has to ring up in their system at that price to honor it. The only solution presented was he would have a different manager call me tomorrow to see what could be done. We will see if they actually call. read more

Right now this is as close to Ikea as Milwaukee is going to get right now. If you want throw pillows, there are 4 isles. If you want patio furniture, you can walk through about a city block of it. Pretty much anything you want. It's not high quality though. To be honest it's like Walmart grade but that's ok as long as you have that expectation. read more

I liked how much stuff the store carried. You're bound to find something you like if you're decorating or furnishing your place. You can find some things that are of great quality, just as well as things that are obviously on the cheap end. Sadly whoever is doing the hiring for this store needs to evaluate their employees. I passed the same girl working around the rug area several times and she never greeted me nor offered to help me. I couldn't get through many aisles with a cart due to the stockers taking up all the aisle room. At this point I still wasn't greeted by anyone or offered any help. Employees seem to be a bunch of teenagers who haven't the slightest idea of what good customer service is. read more

Excellent variety and they offer lots of products. I have purchased a few bigger ticket items from there. One time I brought my son to help me load a a head baord for a bed because there were no assistants to be found. The last time I was in the store I found a sheet set at the highest shelf with no one around for assistance. I left the store without a purchase. With the lack of customer assistance I will not be shopping there again. read more
