The first time you walk into Garden Ridge there is a feeling of Alice and Wonderland. I do not have a clue how much time it took to stock all of the merchandise. Do not expect to get an amazing deal on items unless they are on clearance, but it is fun to just walk around. read more

I only recently discovered this place back in October while driving by with an out of state friend. She has been telling me about it this fabulous home store and when she saw the sign she yelled "Pull Over" and I am certainly glad we did. I probably have driven by it a dozen times and would never have though to stop as I assumed it had to do with gardening which I do NOT do. The name is misleading, because while they do have patio furniture and cushions it's mainly a store that carries wall art, frames and home decor. On that particular shopping trip I purchased two wire baskets and some faux greenery to brighten up my townhouse. On my most recent trip I was looking for decor for a new bedroom update for my tween. We asked about the return policy on the off chance that what we had purchased wasn't a good fit. Well the quilt arrived and the pillows and frames were indeed not going to work with our color scheme. I went to return them. As I approached the register the cashier says "Oh no I guess it just wasn't a good match?" WOW she remembered us! Now that is customer service! Way to make me feel valued and appreciated Carmen! The return was easy with no hassle or questions and I was in and out in no time! We will be back to buy more accessories soon! read more

My wife and I have purchased a number of things there, but had a situation with patio furniture cushions. We purchased set of 4 that with the first rain, started to slowly disintegrate. We basically put off going back to the store to inquire for a number of reasons. Well, we showed up 9 months later. No receipt, I had removed the tags, all I had was the credit card I had used to make the purchase. The cashier was very kind, as was the assistant manager, who had to call the Store Manager, Robin. He was ABSOLUTELY the best! He didn't sweat us, took the time to walk back to the display and help us find new ones, made recommendations as to longer -lasting cushions, and then swapped them out at no charge. Where do you get customer service like that anymore?? Big THANK YOU Robin to you and your staff! At home will be our first stop for anything else home-related that this family needs! read more

I have shopped this At Home store on Williams field road several times. I have probably spent over $1,000.00 at this store this year. I am 63 years old and obviously do not read very well without my glasses. I went to take bacj 2 items that did not work for my office. 2 desk trays 15.00 each (overpriced) My total invoice was just short of 80.00 I drove 23 miles to make this return and was denied. The return policy on the bottom is so tiny and faded you an hardly read. I saw returns no problem with receipt 90 days. I sopped reading at that point. Apparently that is only if you sign up for their perks club? 60 days otherwise. I asked for a manager ad got a kid named Noah. He was pleasant but had no customer service skills and refused to give me a full return. So I left the store with my over priced purchase. The store is ugly. Customer service is bad and you can walk around the store for hours and not find anything. Very poor quality on most of their items. Do not shop at this store. Go to Home goods across the street. Customer service is great and I always leave with lots of beautiful items. read more

I have to amend my review as the manager finally called back. I told him I'd be happy if I got a gift card which would force me to come back and try the store again. He was accommodating and sent me a gift card for $20 which covered the cost of the item I was incorrectly charged and gave little extra for the inconvenience. I appreciated his listening to my ask and I was very reasonable and he made it happen. Would recommend them. read more

Was SO disappointed once again .... we were told by a Manager that another location had what we wanted in stock. We drove to that location and couldn't find the item, after searching for about 8 min to find a sales associate to help us, we were told "NOT to listen to anyone else but her (her name was Corie and she was a Manager) and that another store can't tell what the inventory is. Corie the Manager proceeded to tell me that they don't really go by what it shows in the inventory log, and that the other Managers are not good like she is, and continued to talk bad about their OWN employees?!?! What ?!?! Didn't get the item we wanted - walked out - and ordered on-line..... and when this store eventually closes and they are out of jobs - they can order on line too !!! read more

We were beyond excited when we first stumbled across this place. That is, until the customer service part. We asked an employee if they were able to call another store to see if they had an item this particular location was out of and we were told, "No, we don't do that customer service, you just have to call the store you want on your own phone." I just shook my head and walked away too stunned to say anything. Took my money and left. Gladly spent it at Target anyway. read more

I returned a metal decor for the wall today that I paid $130 for. I had the receipt and the tag. The cashier ( started with L) immediately called a manager and said , " I worked in the art dept. and nothing over there is over $60." This really hit me the wrong way because it felt like I was a guilty thief until proven innocent. The tone was without emotion and judge mental. I then was upset because if this was supposed to be $60, then I paid over double than what I should have paid. She then responded by saying she isn't on commission( not sure why she said that). The policy of verifying big ticket return items I understand because people abuse the system, but some "customer service 101" is dearly needed. Attitude was rampant throughout the convo. Makes me want to shop elsewhere. read more

Great store. They have all sorts of home stuff. I could spend a whole day there. Great prices too! I've been several times. Great place to find unique items for your home and gifts. They have great holiday displays. I recommend checking them out. read more

I waited for the store to open at 8 AM the day after Christmas..... but they had the same discount they had before Christmas, so shop other stores.... A crowd of people were milling around the front of the store, speaking to the manager, asking why they did not make down the Christmas merchandise, as they were told it was going to be marked down by store employees before Christmas. Quite a few people were told the same thing.... yet the manager did not handle this very well, and quite a few people walked out....... shame on you Garden Ridge ! read more

Great store if looking for cushions for lawn furniture or holiday decorations. Halloween and Christmas items abound with many choices. Prices are pretty good. They also have a large section of bedding items. I was not into the home decorating items like pictures or statues so i cannot comment on them. Worth a look around if you are out shopping. read more

This place is huge! How did I not know it was here? When you walk in it smells kind of like Kirklands. I started my day in the store heading to the right when I came across Isles and isles of patio furniture cushions; if I was in the market for patio furniture cushions I would have been in heaven. since that was my very first time in the store I did stop to check a price tag to get a good feel of how the prices would be and they were about average. One thing that I really like about this store is that in every section they had at least one whole entire aisle of 50% off items. That is where I actually did most of my shopping. I purchased a talking scale for 50% off which made it only $10. My only complaint about the scale is that the voice is very loud and everyone around you can hear how much you weigh LOL otherwise it was great quality and well worth the money. The only reason why I gave the store four out of five stars was because the lack of sales associates on the floor. Several items are high up on racks where you would need assistance to get it down and during my entire hour that I was in the store only came across two associates out on the floor. I did visit the store on a Wednesday night perhaps that is one of the nights that they're not so busy and so they don't have as many people working. I would definitely go back and I Wood and have already recommended this store to friends. read more

Was told by your employees at the Mesa Store (and the cashier) to come back day after Christmas all Christmas things are 75% off...we we got there this Morning everyone else said the same thing but the Manager refused to honor this only was giving 50% off ......when everyone told him the employees told us to come back after Christmas and get the extra discount he told us they did not say this. Will never shop this store again.... read more

This store has terrible customer service. I went in to buy some chairs and they didn't have the ones I wanted so I asked the manager if she could call the Tempe store to see if they had any. I showed her a picture and she said, "you didn't take a picture of the UPC?" I said no and she said she couldn't help me and walked away. I came home and looked at their website and found the number. Could she not have done that at the store for me??? She was rude! read more
