We hadn't been in years, and we thought it would be a fun family trip to revisit a store we used to enjoy. When we first arrived, we were greeted warmly by the store manager, Christi, who was kind, professional, and had a genuine smile that set the right tone. The store was not busy, so it was fairly quiet, and you could easily hear my children's laughter echo through the aisles. My son is four--curious, energetic, and, like most toddlers, has a knack for exploring things he shouldn't. My one-year-old daughter giggled as he climbed into one of the large bins--yes, the sturdy, weight-bearing type designed to hold storage items. Of course, as any parent would, I told him to get out. He didn't listen immediately (because, well, he's four), but he wasn't hurting anyone or causing damage. Had anything happened, we're responsible parents and would've made it right. That's why I was completely shocked when an employee named John came marching from the opposite end of the store with a stern, unpleasant expression. Without so much as acknowledging us--the parents--he looked directly at my children and said, in a sharp tone, "Hey kids, get out of there because if you break, you buy." Then he turned and walked away. Not only was this incredibly unprofessional, it was completely inappropriate to speak to someone else's children in that manner. You don't approach toddlers with jargon they don't even understand. You address the parents first. His tone, body language, and delivery made the situation feel unnecessarily hostile and condescending--especially toward two very young kids who were simply being kids. Whether John was having a bad day or just lacks basic customer service skills, it was unacceptable. It left me embarrassed, upset, and frankly appalled that this was how a paying customer and her family were treated--especially in a store that prides itself on organization, sophistication, and service. Although Christi was not aware of what had happened during our visit, her calm and gentle spirit at checkout reminded me what great customer service should feel like. She treated us with genuine kindness and professionalism, completely unaware of the negative experience we'd just had with her employee. Unfortunately, her warmth wasn't enough to undo the damage caused by that interaction. This experience has completely changed how we view this location, and sadly, it will be the last time my family and I shop here. I sincerely hope The Container Store addresses this type of behavior and ensures no other family is ever made to feel the way we did that day.

We sat on a few sectionals and were pleased with their prices, plus many had an additional 20% off. We were then met by Zoe (think that's her name) a nice young lady. Very helpful and not pushy at all. She was able to show us some of the floor models in other colors as well. We went on a Saturday and she said they could deliver as early as Monday, which is unheard of at these times. We said we would look at other places and come back. We later decided we trusted her and liked her style as well as the fact that they can deliver so quickly. They delivered just as promised. They were just a little late but Zoe called early in the day to inform us of this which was greatly appreciated. Great delivery and nice gentleman. We are very pleased with our purchase and furniture. Don't go anywhere else!

About a month ago I had ordered an Ashley brand desk online. They delivered it in the manufacturer…read morebox. There were no dents or cuts in the box. Upon unpacking and putting it together I noticed there was a 1" long dent on the desk top edge. I called Cypress and they immediately delivered a new one out and picked up the damaged one. It was painless. I dealt with Zoe there. Upon her follow up phone call to make sure everything was ok. I told her everything was good. Better than good. I was impressed with their service regarding a $370 desk that I ordered an Ashley matching King size sleigh bed frame from them. A $1250 purchase. Zoe said it would be delivered within 2 weeks as they had to wait on it from Ashley. Which was the normal time frame from other companies. Promptly they delivered, set it up on the second floor and hauled the packing and boxes away. I have nothing but good to recommend Cypress Furniture.

The complex has several other businesses such as car repair and body shops, but don't let that deter you. Inside, the showroom is nice and they have some basic but nice mattresses, furniture, and some mirrors. Not much as far as decor though. I was able to find a basic mattress but it was unique and something other name brand furniture stores didn't have, and it was a fair price.

I think some of the stuff is five stars and some of the prices are two or three, but I'll average it out to four because Barbi really likes this store.

I've heard great things about this place and know people who've bought furniture from here several times, but we were VERY frustrated and disappointed with the way ours was received. They did, however, replace the footboard after I contacted them with the issue.

He typically dislikes shopping in any size, shape, or form, and he reinforced that aversion as we entered by saying, "let's get this over with." Despite his expectations, Hubby accompanied me through three full circuits of the showroom, and as we exited, he made no complaint. Not even about our $2,800 purchase! He later confessed that he "didn't hate the experience," which is his highest praise. We stuck to our plan and left with an 8-foot round Turkish rug and several Tempur-Pedic products. As expected, the quality of the products is top-notch. The rug will go perfectly beneath the hand-built, round Amish breakfast table we purchased at Gallery Furniture last year, which I discovered features the maker's autograph on the underside of the tabletop. Finally, the sales staff truly sets Gallery Furniture apart. Their approach focuses on helping rather than selling. By pairing one sales consultant with each customer upon arrival, they prevent you from being repeatedly asked the same can-I-help-you's and other annoying questions by random employees. The staff is excellent at answering questions, guiding you to what you want, and providing exactly the right amount of assistance for your particular shopping style. If you have never been to Gallery Furniture, or if it has been a while since your last visit, you are missing out.
