We were trying to explain…read morean issue regarding a cancellation after being specifically directed to the store by Customer Service. However, Brooke would not even give us the opportunity to explain the situation. Instead, she repeatedly insisted that cancellations had to be handled through Customer Service or over the phone. I believe employees should receive better training in customer service and, more importantly, in listening to customers and understanding their concerns before dismissing them. I have been coming to this branch for the past five years because I have always received good service. Unfortunately, after the way I was treated during this interaction, I no longer feel comfortable returning. This experience was extremely disappointing and has changed my perception of this location.

Corporate promised it, then sided with the store, then went silent. You still want me to drive back so you can "fix" a screen that already works. That's not service. That's stalling until I get tired. Google handed their warranty to a chain that can't follow a simple ticket and then acted like the customer is the problem. I love the fact that he said to them "you will be paying for your old phones while paying for your new phones" and he didn't seem at all like he was thinking what I was - which was "why? and what world are you in that you need the latest iPhone at all times"- but alas I am a curmudgeon when it comes to waste somewhat so that is my problem and the way he treated everyone was excellent! He didn't make them feel stupid for wanting the latest tech and he wasn't pushy - as a matter of fact the only thing he mentioned was that he just wanted to make sure they were aware that they would be raising their bill by X amount a month. Then it was my turn and he apologized profusely for having me wait - which I had expected - any time you go into a cell phone store I expect at least a 30 - 60 min wait time (unless it is a genius bar appointment - at which time you will wait over 11/2 hours (at least the one in old orchard)- and this is when I had an appointment lol. So yes go to this Verizon above all if you want to get a good deal and a sales associate who will get you it - you have found the right place.

I stoped by again today and he mentioned to me that he recently switched companies so I wanted to leave a review for his new company. (His old company had all five star reviews...this guy knows what he's doing!). He is still located inside the Macnician office in Highland Park behind the Dunkin' Donuts. I didn't know that there was a difference in screen repairs until I broke my phone when I was in downtown Chicago and I went to a different place that put in a cheap screen that failed and then a second cheap screen that had a big white mark on it. I've never had these issues with Craig and I would recommend him 100%. His screen replacement cost is very inexpensive and again, it's always perfect. Thanks Craig!
