They changed my iPhone password and did not even tell me - which is illegal!!!! The gal who waited on me called my carrier and cancelled my plan and then when she put in new sim card, phone said it was locked. She did not know why nor did I when I know my phone was only a month old and it was an unlocked phone. I was there for 3 hours and got no further with her than waiting for the phone to be unlocked. the manager then came instore and by that time, I was angry and frustrated with her. He could not help either and told me to leave and never come back. I came home and called my old carrier and was told it takes a day or two to port over phone number and change carriers. Why did this woman make me wait if she knew that was how long it took? Besides that, she gave me a higher priced plan with Boost which I was able to correct. Although I paid for a 1yr warranty the store refused to replace or even help fix their wrongdoing, and insisted that I pay full price again for a replacement because the screen has a hairline scratch which voids their warranty. The warranty they offer is obviously subject to their discretion at which they will use any excuse to not to fix. This issue seemed second nature to them which made me realize this is a scam they frequently use, and more importantly us to pressure women into further sales. Here it is Wednesday and the phone still has not shipped. I was told that FedEx did not pick it up. I told them to call for a pick up or have it sent UPS next day air. They said "that's not how it works". They told me to contact my IT person and have them order a new one to a store near my home in FL. Absolutely terrible service. Victor the Assistant Manager does not return phone calls or reply to texts. How difficult is it to ship out a package?? Had it not been for the fact that our entire company is linked to Verizon (unfortunately), I would have gone to AT&T. The much better option for wireless service.
