All the managers here need to be fired. The amount of people i had to talk to too figure out my shipping problem was unacceptable. I talk to these people 4 different times on the phone and THEN drove 30 mins to the store to be told to call the 611 customer service number. I would give these people and this store negative stars if i could. If you value your time, read the other reviews and take notes because they are all true. NEVER do business here. If I could give this store zero stars, I would. We went in to upgrade our daughter's iPhone. The representative had her transfer her number and then upgrade the software. This seemed to be taking a long time which he assured us was fine...so long that he actually left because he was "off" already. We ended up leaving and overnight it never turned on. The next morning, she went back to the store and was told it was an Apple problem not theirs. She was also told that she would be responsible for filing warranty claims on her $50 screen protector and her $25 camera protector. I called Apple to ask how to resolve and was told that the ATT store should just replace her phone (simplest solution) but if they wouldn't do that, Apple would be glad to help. The other option would be to drive 2 hours to the nearest Apple Store where you could get GOOD customer service to fix a problem entirely created by ATT. FYI, we were told by another ATT store that the correct order to transfer the phone number was to update the new phones software THEN transfer the phone number to it. My advice is go to the ATT store in the Marketplace and steer clear of this one. read more

If you can't get ahold of no body over the phone , don't even waste your gas coming into this store because they will not help you and tell you to call the customer service number even though you have been on hold all day with no help . I've been a customer with AT&T for years and this man who's name is "German" didn't help me , he didn't offer any advice , he just sat in his chair looking pretty and didn't have any solutions. I went to the store to pay my monthly prepaid phone bill of $45. I went to the kiosk to pay in the back of the store. While I was making my payment, another suspicious female customer came up behind me and was looking over my shoulder while I was entering my account information and bank PIN into the kiosk. She was standing within two feet of me and behind me. I complained to the manager that the customer was standing suspiciously very close to me, and I did not appreciate it. He just looked at me with a blank stare, and then he said, "I was not cognizant of her doing that". He did nothing. He was on his cell phone entering number or text or something while I was talking to him. He seemed like he did not even want to listen to me. I left. I think your staff should be more attentive to customers and listen. The manager is a poor excuse and demonstrates poor customer service. read more

Ok. new review. this time for AT&T Wireless. In October 2001, I fired Sprint as my wireless carrier (their cell towers had been flooded by Tropical Storm Allison 4 months earlier and the service never recovered). My parents and I walked into this store to set up a new account and get three phones. The first words out of my mouth were "we need a TEXAS wide plan with no roaming". We asked multiple times during the process... "this plan is good for the entire state, right?" and each time we were assured it was. Flash forward a few months, my mom goes to Kerrville, TEXAS for a business trip. A month later, the cell phone bill comes in ... $800+. I just about had a heart attack. Started reading the bill... ROAMING charges. Um, WHAT? So I called customer "service" and they said... we don't have any plans that cover the entire state of Texas. After talking to three different supervisors, they only took $250 off of the bill, but supposedly they changed my plan so this wouldn't happen again. I set up a payment plan and slowly, over 4 months, paid off that ridiculous bill. Flash forward a few more months. My mom goes back to Kerrville, Texas for business. A month later, the bill arrives... $1200+. Um, WHAT? So, I call customer service again. Sorry... you were told we don't cover Kerrville and we can't help you. Talked to 4 supervisors and nothing, so I told them they would be getting paid on my schedule since they can't stop LYING to us. So I went to Verizon, set up a new account, got all three of us new phones and then went to this AT&T wireless store and cancelled our account. Knowing full well that I was going to get hit with an early termination fee too, I didn't care... I wasn't going to get slapped with a ridiculous bill like this again. Less than a week later... before my final statement had ever even been printed by AT&T... I got a letter from a collection agency stating I owed something like $1600... ($1200, next month's bill + early termination fee). I told them by law I don't have to pay a single damn penny until I actually get a bill ... so then the harassment from the collection agency starts. They started calling hourly until I made a payment arrangement. AT&T has a whole (see reviews for AT&T landline/dsl and U-verse) is a ridiculous monstrosity.. a company so big that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They screw over their customers and then bring in other departments, including their in-house collection agency. read more

Went to this location after being told by Best Buy, Walmart and the AT&T store in the Central Texas Marketplace to get a mobile hotspot. Scheduled an appointment for this afternoon after I got off from work. Waited for 30 minutes while 4 staff members stood around chatting to each other not helping anyone out. When an associate finally came up to help I asked about the hotspots only to be told they "didn't have any" and to go to the places that told me to go to them. AT&T really needs to get on board with actually selling devices and plans they have online and to have competent employees who are willing to help out customers. read more

This was one of the worst consumer experiences of my life. I tried to set up a business account and it took two months and they still messed it up. I can't even explain how frustrating going to this location is. If I could get rid this service I would've but they make it so difficult that is almost impossible without spending $1000 and losing all your data. From receiving the wrong devices, to being over charged for things that were not supposed to be on my bill, it still took me two hours for them to try to figure it out while barely speaking to me and me leaving without phone service or Internet until I paid a balance that I was an able to see on my phone. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had with any company. A T&T Not only wasted my time but cost me thousands of dollars as I could not have my business open without my phone or hotspot. They did not attempt to rectify the situation or perform any actions to compensate me for my time that was wasted and profit losses. Worst customer service I have ever experienced as a 15 year ATT customer. Never coming here for any kind of assistance ever again

I have actually been using this store for years. Each time I had impeccable service. This service has always kept me from changing providers. This all came to an end this week. In September, I was told that when I raise my data from 15 to 24 I would receive a fourth line free. I didn't particularly need an extra line but had a ten-year-old, so I thought since it was free I would get it. Now, in December, I see that in fact, that line is NOT free. It is a little over 20.00/mo! I went in to speak with the typically helpful staff. "Maybe you misunderstood?" FAIL! No, I did not!!! I repetitively asked the sales associate. "The fourth line is free? I won't be paying on that line at all?" I am a mother of three, so this was asked so many times and in many different ways!! Probably a total of fifteen times, I had the sales associate say in multiple ways, that the fourth line was free! "He's our best associate, so I don't think it was malicious." Ummm .... I didn't feel personally attacked!! And I don't really care about his motive! I don't want to have to pay for a line that I was told was free. It's really that simple! "Well, we can take the phone line back." Really???? Right before Christmas, your plan is to take away the phone from the ten year old who has actually been really responsible with it?!?!? And will you pay me back for the sale of the actual phone??? "We'll talk to the sales associate." Great. Now I feel bad for the guy. NEVER.COMING.BACK!!!! When you make a mistake (and I'm okay with that) - you fix it by providing the service promised! read more

So, 2stars overall should tell the owner they need to spend resources on customer service training! We came right at 6pm on a Sunday to get my 71 year old mother a phone for her safety. There are 8 people total in our party in two cars with another elderly man so it took us a few minutes to unload. Half of our family went in and they locked the door and refused to let the rest of us in though my husband told them we were all together. As an RN and Director responsible for customer experience for an 18 hospital system, I can tell you we would never treat patients this poorly!!! Needless to say, I am a Verizon customer & ATT will never get my families business! read more

Just got off the phone with AT&T in Waco trying to repair a land line. It took 30 minutes and the system was completely automated, so i never spoke to an actual person about the nature of my technical difficulties although they did inform me for no apparent reason during the process that "they were experiencing higher than usual call volume". Their system just asked a 30 minute series of increasingly more specific questions until FINALLY the robot told me that they would probably send a technician on in 2 days between the hours of 8am and 8pm, and there would be a charge associated with the service call. From what I can gather they have had serious problems with either children making unscrupulous service calls, or parents leaving their kids alone home to answer the door for the technician because they made me assure them no less than 4 times (by pressing the number 1 on my touch tone keypad) that an "adult" would be available to answer the phone number I provided for the service tech and or on the premises during the time of the repair. read more
