I thought I was going to have to replace my iPhone because it wouldn't hold a charge and wasn't working properly. Instead, I took it to Phone MD, and they fixed it! The manager, Andrew, cleaned out the charging port and installed a new battery. It only took about 30 minutes, and now my phone works like new. He was friendly, professional, and couldn't have been nicer. It was much cheaper than buying a new phone! I called before driving to the business to get a quote on back camera repair for my iPhone. I was given a quote of $150 before taxes for the repair. The man who helped me at the counter rang me up for a higher price of $170 pretax. When I questioned the price on the receipt, it made him uncomfortable and he went into a spill about not forcing a customer to have a repair completed. I questioned the pricing for accounting purposes as the repair was related to a work phone and I reported what was quoted. He then showed me the pricing on the screen but I sensed his irritation at me questioning the pricing. An accurate quote would have given me the option to seek out another repair company of equal reputation before deciding whether to use the service and driving 45 minutes to the location. I called and they ordered a new screen. I brought it in, and they "repaired" it. I get back to the office and discover the fingerprint scanner isn't working. I called. Their response was, "we don't guarantee that biometrics will work after replacement. " Had I know before wasting $280, I would have taken my phone elsewhere. They did the most amazing job on repairing my iPad screen, and also put the replacement screen protector on for me as well. They were very prompt with the service, and advised me it would be 24 to 48 hours when my device would be ready, and they upheld their end of the bargain. They contacted me within 24 hours stating my device was ready, however, I was out of town at the time, so I picked it up the following Monday. My daughter broke the screen on her phone. Started looking for repair shop he was the only one open on Sunday, called and was told if we could get there in 10 to 20 minutes he would be able to repair it. These guys are AWESOME! One day after work I pulled my phone out of my pocket to charge it. Except, the charger wouldn't fit in my iPhone 5S all the way. (Note: I do not use a case for my phone.) There was something blocking it, therefore, not allowing me to charge my phone. Also, people had trouble hearing me on the phone as well. After inspecting it myself, I couldn't find anything in the lightning charger hole that would block my charger from being urged in all the way. Upset, I went to AT&T to see if they could do anything, for I do have insurance on my phone. They simply told me that there was indeed something in the charger hole and that my options were to simply out right buy a new phone or use my insurance and pay a $200 deductible for a new piece! Screw that! I learned of iPhone M.D. from my brother who took me there today. I walked in and promptly was greeted. I forget the guy's name who looked at my phone, I'm sorry, but he asked to look at my phone which I gladly explained the problems I was having. He then took it to that back and within 2-3min came back out to the front. He told me he cleaned out the charger area and there was indeed something nasty built up inside it. He said it was working fine and that it was charging once again! I asked him what I owed him and to my surprise he said "nothin'"! Wow! How badass! These guys are legit and the real deal. Their prices are right on the money, literally (; and they have great customer service. Will use them again if I have any other problems with my phone! Took my iPhone in with the top left frame popped out of place. Was told it couldn't be put back and was quoted 225$ plus tax for a complete frame replacement. Took the iPhone to the IPhone doctor on valley mills and was charged 40$ and she had it fixed in a hour and a half. I'm sure this business does great repairs and I did not get service from them. Best NON-SERICE I ever got! My LG V-20 went gonzo on me yesterday while I was on a flight and turned it back on. Would not work. Would not hold a charge. All kinds of weird lights. I called iPhoneMD and Tom answered. I told him I thought (and hoped) it was only the battery. Regretfully, they did not have the battery and, because of the Christmas holidays, if they ordered it shipment would not arrive for 5 days. I'm traveling for business so that wouldn't work. Had to have my phone RIGHT NOW or get a new one. He actually suggested some other competitors to try. He said, "I hate to send you to competitors, but I want you to be happy and get your phone fixed! I can purchase the Apple Care plan, which would not have been available with a third party repair.
