When I questioned the price on the receipt, it made him uncomfortable and he went into a spill about not forcing a customer to have a repair completed. I questioned the pricing for accounting purposes as the repair was related to a work phone and I reported what was quoted. He then showed me the pricing on the screen but I sensed his irritation at me questioning the pricing. An accurate quote would have given me the option to seek out another repair company of equal reputation before deciding whether to use the service and driving 45 minutes to the location. After checking his stock, they didn't have the fob in stock at the location, but he could have it at the store later that afternoon. We were fine with that and decided it would work out better if I took the car the next morning to get the fob. I go in Saturday morning and a different man was able to get the fob cut and programmed and sent me on my way. Very nice and easy. Now here we go. I'm back at home prepping some food for the day and I get a phone call from Batteries +.... That's odd. I answer and it is the man that cut and programmed the fob for me this morning. He proceeds to tell me that he forgot to collect payment for the fob.... I informed him that we paid yesterday with cash. He says he doesn't show that we paid, but I'm telling him we did. He hangs up. Shortly after, I get another call from Batteries + and it's the man again and he says that they have no record of me paying and the manager checked the video and there wasn't anything on the video showing me paying. He says I need to go back and pay and if I don't, they will prosecute me for theft! Theft!! (How do you steal something that they gave me and I paid for?) I told him that they better check the video again. Now I'm searching the house for the shirts I wore the day before to see if I left the receipt in the pocket. My wife already had the shirts in the washing machine. We proceed to stop the machine and start digging trying to find the shorts I wore to see if there is some part of the receipt.... I'm steaming at this point. Angry at being accused of theft and trying to dig through wet clothes for a dumb receipt. Now we get another call from Batteries + and it's the same man. He was very remorseful and apologized saying that his manager looked at the video again and saw me paying for the fob. He initially was looking at the wrong register!! So now they have to retract the accusations placed against me. Of course, the manager was spineless and had his associate do the calling and apologizing instead of calling me himself. Not much of a leader. There were other ways they could have been checking if I paid or not before quickly calling and threatening. I guess the register had an extra $146 from the day before that they had no clue came from. I guess you can assume that I'll never go back there.

The screen is the 360 4way privacy screen. The person that replaced knew it was not the standard one because of how much darker it was albeit I realized when I got home that it was the incorrect screen protector. I did phone them and left a message. I called back the proceeding day. There was slight confusion but to end the avail they said I can get my phone screen back and theirs and I would have to pay the difference! I was shocked because it was an error on their part. It was explained that they are loosing out since the screen was put on and unfortunately I can understand BUT it was their fault for putting on wrong screen. I have been using CPR and ZAGG protectors since my iPhone 12 days and have been going to them for that long. Any issue that ever arose they always fixed. This should be no different! It was their fault. Maybe people get over on them I do not know but was disappointed! I did call ZAGG and explained the entire situation and the customer service rep was so amazing. She said she would notate my return that will not match and why and will send a replacement at no charge and offer an additional free upgrade. I let her know I was thankful for the replacement and to keep the upgrade. Issue was handled by someone else whose fault it was not!
