    AT&T's Store of the Future is a terrific place to stop in and learn about all of the new features of wireless technology for your business, home, and recreational uses. I had the pleasure of attending a special Yelp event at the AT&T Store of the Future about a month ago, and learned a lot about all of the new tools to monitor your health, your home security, and the location of your kids. Additionally they showed off some palm-sized projectors, scanners, high-resolution cameras, and wireless speakers. This is not your traditional cellphone store, although they have all of those products as well. This is really the place to learn about how you can better use wireless technology in your life, and to speak with the experts from AT&T. I've been back to this store a few times to look at a new wireless hotspot and the latest versions of the Samsung Android smartphones. Nik is my wireless technical expert at the store, and he started by pulling up my wireless plan on his tablet and making some recommendations about how to re-shuffle my usage and reduce my monthly bill by a bit. When was the last time that a company offered to help you REDUCE your fees? From there we looked at the different wireless hotspot devices to provide me with guaranteed internet connectivity for my laptop when I travel, and talked through the pros and cons of each model. I selected the one that I liked, and then Nik checked to be sure that I had the best available data plan to compliment the device. We talked about the new Samsung Galaxy 5 Android smartphone, and spent some time looking over the changes from my current Galaxy 3. The new phone has a larger display screen, a high resolution camera, and a few other goodies that look real appealing. Once I stop travelling I'll be back to see Nik, and make the switch to the upgraded phone. You'll find the AT&T Store of the Future in a new little shopping plaza at the intersection of West Shore Blvd and Spruce Street, just south of International Plaza. Many people use The Container Store for their landmark, and the AT&T Store has a bright orange façade that makes it tough to miss. Great solutions, very knowledgeable people, and a new approach to learning about technology. This store is a winner!

    Outstanding customer service. Carlos Rosado is very very knowledgeable and 150% customer oriented. It took him no time to look at my IPhone and find out what needed to be fixed. This is what makes the ATT difference.

    Since ATT opened this store in the Westshore area, there has been no need for me or my family to go anywhere else in Tampa. Very helpful and knowledgeable reps, and the store location couldn't be more convenient.

I did not have an appointment for the Genius Bar, but the guy in the front took my info down, and told me it would only be about half an hour. I wandered off, and in about 10 minutes, I received notice that my appointment was ready. The guy helping me was super thorough and knowledgeable. He confirmed what I already knew - that my iPad needed to be replaced with a new one. Fortunately, I could get a trade in amount of $190, so that helped substantially with purchasing a new one. The apple "genius" (maybe Andrew?) ordered my new iPad mini, went and got it, took my payment, deactivated my old one, set up my new one, and scrubbed the old one. Altogether it took less than an hour and I was on my way, easy peasy. I don't use their services often, but it's nice that they are available if I need to.

    We purchased a new phone at the Apple Store and also bought the "premium" Belkin UltraGlass 2…read morescreen protector for $30-40. We were told it comes with a warranty and free replacement. Within 4-5 days of normal use (the phone was never dropped or damaged), the glass developed cracks. For comparison, $9 multi-packs from Amazon typically last us months without issues. Then the real frustration began. The store told us the warranty is not handled by Apple but by Belkin. That means filling out a lengthy online form, waiting nearly a month for processing, then another week for shipping. It has now been almost two months since purchase, and we've been walking around with a brand-new phone covered by a cracked screen protector. Extremely overpriced, disappointing durability, and a warranty process that is slow and impractical. I would not recommend buying these screen protectors at the Apple Store. Ordering from Amazon is far cheaper and far less hassle.

She said that I could get 2 of these watches Free + a reasonable monthly fee+ *Insurance that she said I could drop in *3 months. Turns out these watches DO NOT signal for 911 when you fall. I had a bad fall & it didn't call 911. Our Monthly T-Mobile bill has doubled randomly with multiple charges of $1. Spoke to a Supervisor who said it would take $700+ to pay the balance for the 2 "free watch phones" or she said, "Maybe you could sell them online". To say that T-MOBILE has had a serious decline in the 14 years we've had them is an understatement. Calling their Corporate office in "Bellevue, Washington today. T-MOBILE is not a member of BBB, however their complaint rating is " 1.83 in negative ratings of which they have thousands. "If something seems to good to be True.. it is probably NOT True.     disclaimer: i wasn't actually assisted through a service here, but i had a peerless experience…read morevisiting this location with excellent floor management. i have no idea what his name is, but a man greeted me immediately after i signed in on the tablet. he saw my bag of equipment and asked if i was there to drop off or exchange the equipment only or if i needed anything else. i told him i only needed to drop it off. he kindly and patiently let me know that all of the employees were assisting customers with mobile service, that most of the people in front of me were also mobile customers, and that the wait would likely be longer than an hour. he suggested a spectrum drop-off point at a nearby ups store less than 10 minutes away as an alternative. we left and had the equipment all packed up to send in less than 20 minutes from that interaction. he saved us a ton of time waiting, managed the queue for his colleagues, and overall ensured that our experience there was short and sweet. if that's the type of management i can expect here, i would definitely return for any concerns.

There is no explanation unless you go digging for it. I work from home and it just happens. Customer service has been pretty bad in the past also with how issues are escalated. It's just a bad provider overall and if there is something else in your area you should try it first. I'm hoping we get Google fiber in our area. Frontier is also really bad so I wouldn't recommend it.
