I would give negative stars if I could. Crooks and incompetent. First, it took them a month to "repair" my computer because they ordered the wrong part. By that point, they had forgotten that they even had my computer. They said that they would "repair it as soon as we brought it in" when they had it the whole time. Then, lines appeared on the screen within 3 weeks of getting the computer back. They refused to fix it, claiming that we broke the computer. They then sent it to the part vendor and, a month later, called me to say that the vendor wouldn't replace the faulty part. I paid them to fix my computer and 4 months later I still don't have a usable computer and they refuse to make it right. Avoid at all costs. read more

I suppose these guys are fortunate that my children are careless and clumsy with their devices. Because of their mishaps with their iPads and laptops, I've come to frequent Go Go Gadgets in the past 6 months. I've brought 4 of my kids devices in for repair and thank God these guys are able to fix them at a reasonable price every time! (I know what you're thinking, but please spare me the parental advice about kids and expensive devices! Yes, I should know better. I since then having brought all their devices in have purchased better protective coverings.) Anyhow, turn around time is excellent. The first couple times I brought a cracked iPad and Samsung Galaxy, I got them back repaired same day. The second time was another cracked iPad, however, there was another issue with it. I was called and informed of the other issue prior to them ordering a new part. Once the new part was in, it only took a couple of days to get it back. My last broken device, was an Acer lap top, took a bit longer to repair. I'd take it in, they'd say they fixed it, brought it home, and went kaput again. Second time, brought it in, they fixed it, worked for a little bit, and kaput again. Third time is a charm, right? Finally, they decided to replace the hard drive and viola, that's what I'm typing this review on right now. The fact that I am typing a Yelp review right now on my phone is completely due to the experts at Go Go Gadgets Repair. I dropped my phone at work and it landed on the top left corner. I picked it up, saw no cracks or anything, and carried on with what I was doing. About an hour later I pulled it out and a small inky purple color had taken up the upper left corner. Over time, that purple began to spread. A quick internet search told me the LCD screen had most likely broken. That same search told me it could be fixed and Go Go Gadgets Repair in Lutz was the closest location that might be able to help. I brought my phone into Go Go Gadgets Repair and, because it is an Android phone with a screen they didn't have in stock, was informed that they needed to order it. I put in a down payment, about sixty percent of the total cost. The employee said the screen would arrive on April 5th and they would call when it arrived. By the next day my screen was completely dark. I couldn't even see to turn off my alarm in the morning. It was unusable. Because I couldn't see the screen to answer any calls, I stopped by Go Go Gadgets Repair on the 4th to give them a number they could reach me when the screen came in. To my surprise, he said it had already arrived (and they had called and left a message). The phone was repaired in about an hour and, so far, has worked just like it did prior to my dropping it. Total cost of the repair...a little over a hundred dollars. If you've got a tablet, iPhone or Android device that is cracked or broken and aren't keen on shelling out hundreds of dollars for a new one, give Go Go Gadgets Repair a chance. The display on my phone totally failed. I paid $130.00+/- change for a new display / screen. Now my phone cant recognize the part so my facial recognition wont work. While the tech and owners were pleasant, easy to understand and courteous, but at no pint was I told their non-standard parts could cause my phone not to work like it did with an original manufacturer's part like the one that failed:-( Basically, I feel ripped off. Its like i paid to get me phone fixed, but they didn't fix it right or all the way. If i could give negating stars I would!!! Stopped in today to have my phone screen repaired after dropping and cracking it. Service was excellent. It was done within an hour. We picked it up and added a screen protector on the new screen. Cost was $100 in all. Great place, I'd recommend trying them I HAD to update my review!!! Once I began using my phone after replacing the screen at Go Go Gadgets it began glitching. It does things on its own now, dials randomly, goes on apps I don't pick, mutes my voice on calls. Basically does whatever it wants on its own!!! This wasn't happening before I had screen replaced! Do NOT take your computer to GoGoGadgets next to Tijuana Flats off 54. They replaced a laptop screen on a laptop of mine several months ago. The new screen fell off within weeks. The next screen stopped working (but the computer would display on external monitor) Two months later, they said motherboard needed replacement. That hasn't worked so now they have supposedly ordered a replacement laptop. This was a high-end Lenovo Yoga. Lesson learned, take your computer to a certified repair shop. read more

It is one of the worst repair company I ever comes a cross. I gave them a laptop to fix,and they told me within 3 days I get it back. It took them over two weeks to repair it and every time I go go their to check on it,they have the most excuses why it wasn't repaired. Final I received it,my ac cord was missing and they tried to give me an old ac cord and when liar that the one I gave them.One week after the laptop they fix was broken again from the same problem they suppose to fix.I don't think they have any skill workman working with them. I found Go Go Gadgets on Yelp when I cracked the screen on my Galaxy S6 which apparently is one of the most difficult phones out there to have the screen replaced. I work out of my home and don't have a land line so having my phone fixed quickly is super important. They were able to fix it within a few hours and the price was very reasonable. They even gave me a discount for a really minor flaw. The guys there are all friendly and know their stuff. Sadly, a week later somehow I cracked the screen again... :( It isn't a major crack this time, so Sam took pity on me for being a klutz and gave me a really good discount on a tempered glass screen cover so it won't get any worse. Every time we have went to this place the staff has been professional very poignant and exact. The pricing is fantastic all the repairs have always worked I'm a family of four so we have for cell phones and that's what we had had repaired there they have helped all of us with the repairs all of them have been perfect with no issues and to be honest my son broke his phone about 4 times in a month and a half and they even gave me a discount because I showed up there two days after they just fixed it with a cracked screen on his iPhone. So these guys are great. I gave him five stars because I highly recommend them the prices are very good and their service is quick usually I have my cell phone back the same day or if I drop it off at 5 they'll call me the next day and say hey come get it everything's working good. So in short you should definitely use GoGo gadgets for any repair needs that you need. I've only personally use them for cell phone repairs but I've been there over 20 times and every time I'm there, I've had great service, they're friendly and they do great work. my iPad screen was broke and took it here for repair. I received the ipas back and for about 2 months it was good. The screen keeps separating from the iPad. I took it back and they said they could fix it. Came to pick it up today and the put a bunch of glue on the screen to adhere it however it is still separating from the base. There is glue all over the top off the screen. Didn't even clean up where the adhesive leaked onto the screen. They claim they checked it out before I picked it up, but there is no way they did that. I dropped it off on march 17 and waited til today to call to see if it was ready. They never called me to come pick it up I had to call them. Very unprofessional and carless. No customer service skills at all. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

I will never go back to this store to have my phone"fixed"!! They may have "fixed the screen" but locked me out of the phone rendering it unusable!!! They don't take responsibility for their actions only to tell me they can't remember or they didn't intentionally lock me out of the phone! They are liars and offer no assistance in remedying the situation. I offered them a chance to remedy the situation but they are to concerned of losing $85 then customers. One word of advise make sure they test your phone before you leave! They didn't test mine and that was my first mistake! The people there are very nice and friendly and worked to turn the repairs around quickly. Dropped off in the AM and was fixed by early afternoon. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I'm not one to leave a review but would like to warn others that decide to use them in the future. We had a shattered iPad screen. Went there, they confirmed that they can repair and were impressed a few hours later that it was done. Picked it up and everything seemed ok. Within 5 days of light use since we were waiting on the case; a hairline crack randomly appears right down the middle of the screen. Now before I left, I asked about any kind of warranty and was told that there was a 90 day warranty and left it at that. My husband went to drop off the iPad since it had been less than a week and we spent $90 on this repair. We were told that the warranty doesn't extend to the screen just if the iPad doesn't work correctly. Ummm...I would want a warranty on the work that I paid you to complete which was the glass. The owner called my husband to explain that while it appeared that it was defective glass that since their supplier won't give them the glass for free they will have to charge us $50 for the materials if we want to get it fixed. I don't care about your supplier. If you are trying to conduct good business and retain customers than you should have done the right thing and just ate the $50 for the glass and fixed it or at the very least offered some kind of refund since the iPad was damaged within 5 days of the the repair. This is my second review as my first was deleted. I just wanted to share my not so great experience with with Go Go Gadget repair. A lot of people on here recommended them so when I needed to repair 2 iPad screens I checked them out. They were competitively prices compared to other places so a I went to them. I picked up my iPad Air first. It looked great so i took it home to out a new case on it. While putting the case on, the pressure of my fingers shattered the screen again! I have had many iPads repaired, and have purchased the same case several times and this has never happened. Then today i pickup my iPad Air 2. The home button is no longer level with the screen, and the screen is not properly placed either. And my home button isn't working. I took it back in (during rush hour traffic) waited an hour for them to tell me they still couldn't fix it and I needed to leave it. When I picked up today. it finally 'seems' ok, but it makes me nervous for any future problems. No one even apologized for the inconvenience or for the fact the iPad air screen was faulty and the air 2 wasn't done properly. The customer service is sorely lacking in addition to the quality. I am so disappointed and out $250 for two items that weren't done properly/used bad parts. I do not recommend them. I have previously used Taz in northdale and another place on waters and while they are a hike, my repair was done properly. you get what you pay for. read more
