iPhone 12 decided it didn't want to turn on this morning. Chaos and disorder ensued. My life was crumbling. I couldn't check mail. I couldn't check my messages from my sister. I COULDN'T GET ON TIK TOK! Took the fastest shower of my life and broke several traffic laws to get to the store by 10:00. It was there that I met Andrew and Mason. Andrew helped me with some breathing exercises to calm down while Mason applied his magic fingers to my phone. The phone turned on! Chorus of angels. The sun came out. I was sold to go to Direct TV, mailed U-Verse equipment back then on 11-26 I receive a bill of $629.49 today 12-5 - I receive a bill of $1,305.45! Store can change it but can't fix it! Sitting on hold for an hour again this is now the 4th time I have tried to resolve this - do not go to this store they don't know what they're doing! read more

What a difference a good sales rep makes! I went in this weekend to rearrange a 20 year-old AT&T wireless account to better meet my family's needs. Mason worked his tail off to make sure that everyone had what they need. He even made sure to troubleshoot when I called in to work through the phone setup at home. When the telephone corporation support center let me down (yet again) with billing issues, he enlisted the help of his manager, Jeremy, to work to set things right. I would highly recommend going to this location to enlist their help in navigating the AT&T verse. read more

Well, if you're looking to buy or upgrade a phone, this is the place to go. They'll bend over backwards for you, because they're making money from you. I get that. However, it would be nice if AT&T would pay them a flat rate instead of commission. Here's why: When you go in for customer service--switching sim cards or whatever--they will NOT be making money from you, so taking care of you is a waste of time, and the sales people are annoyed that they're stuck with you instead of potentially profitable customer. Perhaps you could have two types of employees--sales AND customer service? Like another reviewer, I too have noticed that no matter how simple your need, the sales people turn your 10 min. visit into an hour. Note how, while they're working on your problem, they slip in the sales pitch for DirectTV while you're waiting. I can only believe that AT&T took it in the shorts when they bought DirectTV, because every visit/conversation/phone call with them has them asking about our cable, and when we tell them we have THEIR cable, they STILL want us to switch to DirectTV, which I absolutely refuse to do because everyone I know who has it hates it due to losing the signal every time it storms/snows/is breezy/the moon is in its waxing gibbous phase. Finally, as another reviewer mentioned, they need to train their people better. My husband fell on his phone & the screen only showed the top quarter. He got a new one and when he took it in to them to have them transfer everything, they couldn't due to "not being able to see the screen." So photos, contacts, etc. would all be lost. Well, we went home and after about 10 mins. of internet searching, he connected the old to new & got everything transferred. I'd say go to Verizon, but they have the same issues there, except for the DirectTV thing. read more

This is our go-to location when needing to upgrade our phones or swap out a sim card. Depending on the time you go there may be quite a wait for assistance but the staff has always been very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful on each visit. Also, the assistance has been fairly speedy once it is our turn to be helped. We've never had the same person help us more than once but after coming here on and off for the past 7 years I thought I would give this location's staff a shout out. read more

Not sure how this place is in business with the service here. The Manager noticed a group waiting and asked if we were all checked in. He then proceeded to answer questions of the last person to enter, a father and son, instead of assisting us, the first on the waiting list. Once he was done answering their questions, he went to the back never to return, despite the growing line. What should have been a 10 min transaction took 30 min. because he didn't seem to care about his customers. read more

BEWARE OF THIS STORE. We are in town visiting the area when our phone decided to die on us. We purchased a new phone from this location, only to discover that it's been blacklisted and flagged as a stolen item. After getting back to the store we are informed that there's no more in stock however if we would like to drive even further out of our way, another location has it in stock. Since this is something that AT&T should be more than accommodating to handle and fix for us since we are being extremely inconvenienced, the manager goes to pick up the phone from another location (after we had to inform them that there's no way we are going to run around chasing down a phone to replace a stolen product they sold). Before she goes she so kindly advises us that they will gladly waive the restocking fee. Restocking fee? A) why would you ever think that a customer that was sold a STOLEN phone from YOUR STORE even be held responsible for something like that and B) why would there even be a restocking fee, the phone is blacklisted. So are you telling me that someone else could be sold this merchandise and be subjected to not only the time inconvenience but the awful attitudes given by the manager and employees? I would caution anyone considering going to this location to think twice about it because not only would you potentially be in for the inconvenience of purchasing stolen merchandise, the customer service treatment you would receive is just as bad. read more

First my friend was screwed over by some out of country telemarketing company for AT&T. She was sent a cell phone and her business land line was disconnected, without any signatures. Her mother's life alert didn't work for over a week. Now, AT&T after hours on the phone and in this store are charging her for the phone even though there is a confirmation letter showing it was returned, because they can't find it $700+ bill. I go in here monthly to pay my bill. I did not realize there was a serious problem with my account. Nick helped me resolve it. Somehow my combined ATT phone/DSL/Wireless bill had become "UN" combined. Nick spent over an hour with me and different acct ppl/departments getting resolution. While my earlier review of this location's service and speed to complete the plan changes we wanted remains 5 STARS, the result of this change did not us to move to a family plan for $195/month, INCLUDING all fees as the Rep mentioned, and put in writing. The $195 charge includes none of the fees, which I knew would be the case. We questioned the store rep, his supervisor, even an on-line chat Rep about this before signing up for the new plan. All three expressed that the charges would include all taxes and fees....NOT. My $242 bill just showed up in the mail. While I am still happy to have 4 unlimited lines instead of the former garbage plan, I wish better training was in place for the AT&T employees so that they knew what they were taking about. I Highly recommend this AT&T location. I had the pleasure of getting assistance from Angel. I walked in just expecting to get information on shipping my phones I was going to trade-in. Angel went above and beyond! Turns out the rep who initially Signed me up for AT&T put me on the wrong phone plan. When Angel took a look at my phone plan he got me an even better deal with the same monthly payments, assisted me was signing up for multiple discounts that I was qualified for. Also, broke down my billing for me and advise me of all the information that was missed during my initial sign up with AT&T from the previous rep from Target. Angel was very patient when I was trying to get all of my credentials together. Not to mention, the manager Josue was very proactive in assisting me with the shipping details. I walked in feeling very overwhelmed and walked out more than satisfied! Even after leaving the store, I reached out to Angel over the phone and Angel was very quick and thorough about answering my questions that I had forgotten to ask why I was at the store. I just have to say what an amazing experience I had overall at that AT&T location because of Angel and Josue! I Definitely will be referring others their way! read more

HORRIBLE wait times - we waiting for 45 min tonight and in the past its always about 30min One sales rep just stood around and talk about basketball with friends while he acted like he was helping them. Other reps we furiously on pnones and typing endlessly while clients looked on. The complexity of the customer service is amazing - every customer seemed to have an amazing complex problem that needed tons of calls to the mother ship and endless typing. When I asked how long it would take they were rude and gave me either I don't really care or how dare you ask looks - avoid this store and in general avoid AT&T - customer service and attitude are terrible! read more

I am so disappointed. I went in tonight to get a new phone which means working around my families multiple lines with upgrades. I was placed with Lany when I walked in the door & I have never worked with someone in the customer service industry with such rude attitude. Very snippy, hard to work with & was not putting the customers best interest to work at all. I ended up leaving the store without any purchases due to her rude demeanor. I have never experienced any issues at this location prior to today. I have Always worked with very helpful employees who have bent over backwards to support my needs. I made an appointment to transfer my old data, pictures, texts, etc. from my old phone to my new phone. I was so pleased with the assistance that I got from Desmond. Even though I could have done this at home I wanted the security of AT&T in case I messed up. Desmond was patient and very helpful. I don't know why this location does not get good reviews. I was at this location a few weeks ago inquiring about their services, thinking about switching from another provider. They wanted to secure an appointment and asked for my driver's license. I specifically asked them NOT to run my credit because I was not sure and they assured me they weren't but I received updates a few days later stating that they DID check my credit. I called and asked to speak with manager, Mohammed, which refused to get on the phone to speak with me. I'm not even a customer and this is how I am being treated? Terrible service. Literally the worst customer service you will ever receive it baffles me how insensitive the whole staff is to PAYING customers. I'm PAYING for this service right can I get some help???? The current store managers are Nicole and Tim. Nicole is reasonable but multiple times being in the store for problem after problem Tim is an egotistical arrogant belittling prick. They overcharge me "accidentally" CONSTANTLY. probably pocketing money. It is worth it to drive a few miles to a different location ! Walked in and was completely blown off by a customer service rep. Had to come in since I couldn't get through to At&t's customer service line. Every time I call I'm put on hold, wait 2 hours, and then am told that my call cannot be answered at the time, and they hang up. I was treated badly. They open the door for me which was nice, then they ignored me. They dress bad. Tight t shirts and jeans. Tattoos exposed and unprofessional. They walk around on their phones texting like robots. They play annoying music very loud. If you aren't interested in a high end plan they wont help you. Att people lied to me about plan pricing. Also, they lied to me about who the manager was. Not even the manager wears dress clothes. They all dress like bikers or 1950's greese balls. read more

Used this location for my last two phones, and adding my wife to my plan. Recently my wife's phone went in the crapper and I purchased her a "Go" phone to hold her over till her contract was up. She wasn't really a fan of it.. so I attempted to return it at a River North location .. and they refused because it was 31 days since the purchase. I called this location and they said they would accept the return, no questions asked. Now I'm a happy camper. My wife's phone still sucks however.. read more

I have been anal about my Samsung Go Phone and Nick has always been so patient with me and always solved my problem. Last night I fell asleep without charging my phone so when I woke up battery was dead. There was a screen I never saw but I recharged and it took about 2-3 hours and I still could not get a regular screen even though it was at 100% charged. So I drove to this AT&T office and Nick was not working so I had an extremely nice young man by the name of SAM who was so nice and patient with me. I felt really stupid when he showed me what I could have done by pushing a button the the side. This office has some really wonderful technicians especially Sam and Nick. It is nice to deal with this store because my problems always get solved whether they are involved or just plain "not using my brain" to get what I needed. I hope that nobody would consider that person a good judge of character her name calling and use of words just show what type of customer she is a tip for that person would be to act civil maybe you could get your point across with out insults and rudeness nobody deserves that shame on you ! I dealt with the manager Tim tonight and Angel and I was very upset when I came to the store because of AT&T as a whole both Tim and Angel were personable and professional obviously used to dealing with customers talked me down from being irate due to the company's bundle rules and upgrading phones they helped me out sat down with by the time I left the store I was very happy thank you both very much for your awesome people skills and phone knowledge I'm sorry you can't please everyone as I see in another review so blow it off and move on to help others who appreciate it! My family and I have had AT&T for a few months now and it is absolutely terrible. Our internet randomly goes down every other day where we can't use it for around 5-10 minutes which may seem kind of short but when it happens that often it gets extremely annoying. Worse than that, while watching TV our shows will randomly stop and skip multiple times a minute causing us to miss parts of the show. It's extremely annoying and uncalled for. This happens in almost every show we've ever watched and sometimes to the point where we've wanted to stop watching tv all together. Lastly, the Internet is terrible. My family and I have always had problems with the Internet in our house, and we've tried many different companies for Internet that we thought were bad but it's nothing compared to our AT&T Internet. ITS AWFUL! I do not recommend AT&T to anybody. read more
