Buying a new cell phone is now about as hard as buying a car. We waited as long as possible but finally ours had been used up. We made an appointment which I would highly recommend. Now that the weather is better everyone is catching up on things like upgrading your cell phone. We got a great kid to help us. He didn't pressure us to buy anything. He asked us about our needs and recommended the right IPhones for us. We switched about four years ago and remain faithful to Apple. It still took about two hours but we transferred everything before we left. I'm now without a home button I don't like that at all but on our older I phones that is what broke forcing us to get new ones. AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Sandy, Utah

Yesterday was not a very good day. It started off with having my cell phone stolen at a movie theater, then sitting through the movie while worrying about my phone and if some kind soul maybe would have turned it in (they didn't, and I'd somehow disabled the Find My iPhone feature), and then having to find an AT&T store that was open who could help me out. My first stop was at the A&T retailer in South Towne Mall, but the representative wasn't able to do anything for us because he wasn't a manager and didn't have the ability to override my husband having suspended my number. He sent us over to this AT&T store, where I purchased a brand new phone very quickly and easily. There was a little bit of a wait when we got to the store, with only one sales associate on the floor. Eventually after maybe 10-15 minutes, the manager, Alexander, came out onto the floor from the back room and was able to reverse the suspension on my number after verifying my husband's identity, and then I took over the sales process from there. I upgraded from my stolen 6S to an iPhone 8, picked up the best coverage plan and payment plan for the phone with Alexander's help, and then finally made a case decision with Bonnie's assistance. She recommended a really fun casemate case that is full of silver glitter and water. It's surprisingly sturdy, and she was even able to show me with her own phone how she'd dropped it several times and the phone remained intact. And because I do have a habit of dropping my iPhone (unintentionally), I also bought a glass screen protector. They also offer low insurance plans at $9 per month, and after the experience I went through with losing my phone, I won't ever get another phone without it--just in case. Bonnie took over after Alexander and I did the paperwork and helped me recover my contacts and my photos. They didn't load immediately, but I noticed this morning that as far as I can tell all were restored. If I lost any phone contacts, it only appears I'm down one that I was looking for earlier this morning. Though not under the best circumstances, this was a really great first time visit. I hadn't purchased a new phone on my own in over a decade (back when you had to watch your minutes, sign a contract for a specific length of time, and were limited on text messages), and the whole experience was virtually painless. I left in a better mood than when I arrived, mostly because Bonnie was so personable and relatable. I super enjoyed chatting with her about everything ranging from makeup brands to Harry Potter. She even walked me to the door and held it open for me when I left, which was a nice customer service touch. read more

Granted they're busy with people ordering new iPhones- that's why we came on Sunday. We're told we'd be the next to be helped. After waiting 15 minutes- someone else shows up. They are offered help right away. We go stand where they were when they received help. We're again asked why we're here. We tell them and we're told it will be 15-20 more minutes. How come some customers get help as soon as they arrive, and those who have been waiting are bypassed? Pretty wack is you ask me. read more

Nice location, and good service if not too busy. If they are, you can expect to wait a long time. Friendly and helpful service, as long as they can help you within the confines of the rules AT&T and your phone maker have set. Parking is usually easy to find. read more

One of the NICEST AT&T stores in the valley. I walked in and forgot that I was actually in to pay a bill only. I got caught up with the way the store is decorated and the way everything is lay out in the store. I'm a huge electronics/gadgets fan. So walking to a cell phone store that looks as nice as this one does get me excited. I went in and checked out the new devices they have, played with the new iPad and loved it. So went in to pay a bill, walked out with a new iPad. No complains there lol. Thanks for the great staff at this location. read more

Wow really bad reviews! I guess it's all about perception. I have been going to this location since they've opened and I have never been treated rudely. I guess we forget people factor that you treat others like **** you get the same back! They explained me everything and I understood I guess I catch things up pretty quick maybe that's why I love this place. Also they do not waste my time they are always on topic and always helpful. This is the place to go if want to be abused. We were treated rudely. Rep would not listen and got it in his head that he could not and thus would not help us. I suspect this problem is endemic to AT&T, yet this particular store is one of the worst examples of customer service. read more

I have never experienced customer service this poor! After visiting this store I am very ready to change service providers. Each employee I spoke with was incredibly rude and they all had different ways of explaining this "next" program-- I don't think anyone here knows what they're talking about. The customer service at this store is incredibly bad. I called to ask if they would buy my old phone even if I got my new one elsewhere. They said "yes." They said they would give me $300 for my old phone even if I got my new one somewhere else. After hanging up I thought I'd better call again to double check. I called back and asked again and they said they'd give me $300 for my old phone. When I went into the store (after already spending a lot of $$ on my new one) they did a COMPLETE 180 and said not only would they not give me $300 for the old phone, but they wouldn't even buy it at all. Short story: THIS STORE MADE ME WASTE $300. NOT COOL. read more

Only giving them one star because I have to Worst customer service EVER!!! My husband and I bought a phone for my dad for Christmas, which he decided to return and go with a different one. Well, he bought his new one from another AT&T store and then when I went to return the first one, they wouldn't let me because I didn't have my husbands card with me (my husband had to fly home for work the day after Christmas). So, even though I had the brand new unopened phone with the receipt and my husband with his card on the phone talking to the manager and two employees, they still wouldn't do anything and now we are stuck with an $800 phone we don't want. On top of that, the other store we purchased four other phones from sent us to this location to pick up my phone, and they wouldn't help us with that either and acted like they didn't know anything about that even though the employee they had talked to and sent us over to work with (Cory) was right there. Wow the worst service ever! I went in to have them look at my phone because I can't receive calls/messages from anyone the does not have an iPhone. After standing and waiting (30 min) for help and not even getting welcomed in a female employee came and got our name on the waiting list. Another 30 minutes went by and then finally Marco came to help us. Once I had explained to him what happened he told me it wasn't not his problem and that it was a apple problem. He told me to call apple and get it fixed and that Apple would probably turn off my iMessages and it would be fixed. He gave me a number I could have googled and not even a nice day? Horrible service I won't be going back to this location! Ever! Oh btw Apple said he could have fixed it right there and I didn't have to turn off iMessages! Don't get help from Marco!
