This place was absolutely useless for hotspot or any technical information/support. Headed over to a Verizon store and got amazing service.

I will start off by saying I only have myself to blame because I didn't ask more questions, but they definitely took me to the cleaners today. So this is more of an FYI when you go in. We went in for a new phone for my daughter picked one out and I told them several times I didn't want a phone case or a protective cover and he kept saying oh well you can always pick one or trade it in for something else you want stupid me. We just picked one and after paying the "taxes" the total was $300 which I thought was a very expensive but of course going to pick out a new phone out is always expensive, but they charged me to set up the phone, which I did not ask him to do I could've done it myself. I've done it several times before charged me for the case the screen protector and the camera protector totaling $225 for everything so again I only blame myself because I didn't ask for printed receipt and only realized when I got home and read the emailed receipt how much I was charged so make sure, you ask questions when you go. read more

Of all the phone providers I've dealt with over the years, this Go Wireless store location is by far the best. You can tell the store Manager, Marty, is experienced and has his finger on the pulse of every aspect of the store. The store is clean, well organized and presents a pleasant atmosphere for customers. Perhaps the thing that impressed me most was how knowledgeable Marty and his staff (Shelby, Blake, Ashlyn and Chris) are. I'm an old Army Colonel and not easily pleased but I would recommend this Verizon location to everyone. read more

I came into this store to fix some problems after dealing with some rude individuals from a different Verizon store, and I wasn't expecting anything different at this store but I figured it was worth a shot. I sat down with the assistant manager Eric, and I was pleasantly surprised. He listened to all of my concerns and was very understanding of how stressful it has been dealing with the other stores. He remained calm and professional despite having to fix other people's mistakes. He fixed all of my issues and went above and beyond anything I could have thought of at the time. If you are heading into the store ask for Eric! He will take just as great care of you as he did me. Thanks Eric! read more

I went in to get a new phone and they didn't have it in stock so Mike (an employee at the store) called around and drove himself to another store to get me the phone I wanted. The girl that worked there was amazing. She was knowledgeable and was putting my needs and wants first in the products she was offering me. She was upfront with all the costs and fees associated with the phone. She was so kind and was engaged in conversation and wasn't treating me like a number like other stores and reps have. This shit is unbelievable.... DON'T GO INTO THIS STORE. Let me tell you a story. It was a chilly sunny fall day when I went in to get my iPhone 6S activated. They didn't explain any of the plan prices in a way that was understandable, so I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt and they would hook me up with what I needed as I explained what I wanted. They ended up setting me up with a $70 plan (what luck that's cheaper than my old plan!) but after my first month it was $112... ok maybe it's activation and service charges. No big deal. I then went back in and asked to get tethering enabled on my phone and the dude just started changing my shit without telling me the price, I had to ask him what the charge would be when he asked me to accept the change on the credit card machine. Homie said it would be a $15 dollar charge. Turns out he ended up changing my plan from $70 to $90 just to add tethering and telling me it would only be $15 bucks more... it was actually $20 bucks (complaining about $5 extra bucks, I know this wasn't the end). I left thinking it was only a $15 dollar charge. I came back a couple weeks later to activate my wife's phone with the lowest plan which should have been $70 bucks. They explained there's an activation fee blah blah and when I asked him to clarify the price assuming the activation fee and stuff would be the same as my phone, $112. Nope. The dude (we'll call Kung Fu Panda) bursted out that he never said that and that it was going to be $190 and not the price I had assumed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt again hoping they would hook me up (but should have known better). Went home and checked my plan and turns out my plan now costs $300+ for just 2 phones... you fucking kidding me? I went threw my "add-ons" and turns out I have $15 a month protection plan on my iPhone 6s (5+ years old phone, WHY?!) and a $17 protection plan for my new phone... apparently that explanation was at the same place as their professionalism... And that's when I realized they changed my plan from $70 to $90 just to add tethering... If I didn't have any restrain I'd go in there and kick some ass because this is shit service Verizon. I'd expect this from TMobile or AT&T. Apparently American service is shit wherever you go now. read more

I went in to this location with low expectations. Looking to change plans and possibly get an upgrade. I have to say I was blown away by the great service given by one of the managers of the store Mike B. He was patient, kind, not pushy and made the experience fun!! Needless to say he wowed me so much during this visit that I upgraded 2 phones and got a great deal on a tablet too! Mike B is great asset to Verizon and Go Wireless! I would highly recommend this location to anyone. And especially Mike B! Thank you Mike, I'm a customer for life!! read more

Do yourself a favor, go to the store in Riverton. I arrived a few minutes early so was waiting outside the store for the doors to open. I should have sensed the upcoming unprofessionalism from the one associate in the store when he walked to the other side of the store to open the door the furthest from where I was waiting. When I asked why he opened the door no one was waiting at first, the attitude started - the first thing out of his mouth was to suggest that I take my business elsewhere. Not a good representative for Verizon - I immediately left the store and did take my business elsewhere - to TMobile nearby. I was on the fence with changing my decade + of Verizon loyalty to TMobile and his attitude made the decision for me. read more

Today I went into Gowireless and worked with Dyllon. Even though they were super busy at this location I'm glad I waited it out to b able to work with him. He was more than helpful and I was very pleased with the service he rendered me. Instead of just taking my money for the bill he offered to pull up my account and see if I was on the best plan for me. After talking with me for a bit and asking me some questions he recommended a few products to me and was really able to help me in every way possible. I would refer anyone to work with him. He really went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. Customer service seems to be his number one priority. Great visit at Gowireless today. I am sure to return and whenever I do I will definitely be looking for my go to guy Dylan! read more

Update: I went back to try to and return my phone that I bought 4 days prior and the associate helping me tells me that they can waive the $35 restocking fee for my trouble. After a call to his manager he comes back telling me that they have already done me enough favors (by refunding the screen protector that I didn't purchase) and they won't be waiving the restock fee. I took my phone and left there. This is the 3rd review I have written trying hard to get the word out about this thieving, lying store and its despicable manager and employees. If you wonder why the employees think this behavior is ok just look at that manager (Mathew) I am so frustrated and I think you all should hear my situation before you give your business to this sketchy Verizon store. In the interest of full disclosure I am going to include every boring detail I went into GoWireless Verizon over in The District last Thursday and I was helped by a girl named Ashlyn B. I paid $27 to pay off my previous phone and upgrade to a new one (which she did on her end with my card) then handed it back to me and asked me to swipe my card in the card machine to pay $130. When I asked her what that $130 was for she just responded "its just for the taxes and some out the door stuff" I thought it seemed like a lot but I didn't really question it because I didn't care to sit and figure out the taxes and second guess her (naive and trusting, I know!) Ashlyn B tells she has to go to the back to get my receipt and comes back with a screen protector and just opens my phone and starts putting it on my new phone, I ask her what the screen protector is for and she says its just a perk that specific store offers when you buy a phone from them and we proceed to have about a 5 minute conversation about how cool that is because places usually charge so much for them Anyways, I leave with ONLY a generic receipt that shows the $130 payment (has no specifics of what that payment included) and a service summery that just has all my information (address, phone number, plan etc) and a shipping label and box to send my old phone back. I get home and my husband questions why I had to pay that much to upgrade and we start wondering about it a little more, since I did not see or receive an itemized receipt like you normally would. She had me sign one page that talked about the phone return policy and that's it. Today my husband goes into Costco (Verizon, same account)to upgrade his phone and walked out having paid $47, just the taxes for the new phone, so at this point Im really wondering why I paid so much so I call the number for GoWireless and get a call center to ask about what was involved in that $130 I paid and she tells me that there was an $80, EIGHTY DOLLAR charge for that "free perk" screen protector that she put on my phone in the store. Actually it was screen protector "protection" that I had paid for since the $39.99 for the actual screen protecter is waived when you buy the $79.99 screen protecter protection. She writes a report and sends and email to the store manager and tells me to go in there and talk to the manger (Mathew) and get a refund. She also tells me that the girl will most likely be fired and she emails me the complete invoice, that I should have walked out with but I never saw, let alone got a copy of. I go into the store to talk to the manager and tell him the situation. I get met with skepticism and not even any type of an apology that it happened and he just said that he'll need to talk to Ashlyn to get her side (don't worry that I am the customer telling him exactly what happened) there was just a complete lack of care that they had an employee that was being so completely dishonest, lying and STEALING money, seemed like maybe thats just how they do it there. I got a refund of the screen protector but I am sure she got a kickback or bonus for each one of those that she sold. I am someone who has been buying my glass screen protecters on Amazon for years ($7.99 for a two pack) so I would NEVER purchase one protecter for an outrageous $40 or even $80. I am so disgusted with that store and Ashlyn B. Use that store at your own risk. I will never go anywhere but Costco or an actual Verizon store. read more

Worst customer service ever. Honestly the worst consumer experience I have ever had. I will never go to any Go Wireless location again. This place gave absolutely zero F***s about the customer at all! The manager adamantly refused to replace a RECALLED device while I was on the phone with Verizon telling me Go Wireless will replace them in store. Don't purchase anything from here, if you have any issues with it in the future all you will get from this business is the run-a-round, they just don't care. read more
