It's not the store but AT&T as a whole. I had two phone lines which I disconnected at end of January. I continued getting a bill which I did contact them and they said my account is closed and zero balance. I tried several times to contact att and was extremely hard getting through to anyone. I went into store and employees where very helpful and could see I closed my account but person on phone who manager of store was speaking to was rude even to their own employees as they were trying to help me resolve and could see that person who closed the account didn't disconnect second number at time I didn't it in January. This is the worst service I can imagine. After 20 years of business use I retired and moved someplace that doesn't have good AT&T service. I ported my numbers to a personal account, called AT&T and they promised to close the account. They've continued to bill me along with a fictitious IPAD that I haven't owned for over 2 years. 30 minutes on the phone and they disconnected. Currently sitting at over 3 hours wasted and they won't credit me for the time after my numbers were ported. Just read M B's review from 9/17/24 and they did the same to them. read more

AT&T might actually be the worst company of all time. The employees here were cussing up a storm and eating ice cream from the place next door while we were getting set up, then the phone didn't even work. They told us to just go home and that it would work when we got there, but it didn't. Over the next 6 months we've been charged for the SIM card that we never used and called multiple times to cancel. The employees we called said that it was all taken care of and cancelled. We just got a letter in the mail from a collections agency saying we owe AT&T hundreds of dollars. It's going to ruin our credit, no one at AT&T will hear us out, and we won't be able to buy the house we've been saving up for. If I could snap my fingers and make one company disappear forever this would be it. They literally ruined our lives. I would add a joke about how I'd rather use smoke signals or nautical flags than have a phone with AT&T but they actually just ruined our lives so I won't. read more

Customer service was okay, until me and my mother explained we were looking to pay for our phone upgrades outright to avoid monthly payments, which we were told that's not allowed. DRAPER, UT: This "Spring Wireless" is really the AT&T branded store in Draper Utah. They have a great selection of items, as you would expect, and the store is small, clean, and conveniently located. Cody, the young man who was working there when I came in, was awesome to work with. He helped me out quickly, he invited me to come in at the very end of his shift on a weekend, and he got me exactly what I needed and dug deep to find and explain a superior plan option. I just visited the store at 64 E 12300 S in Draper, UT. I went in inquiring about adding service for our RV. The boy didn't know anything about and asked his female manager that didn't get off her butt to help and talked through him. After he told me basically it could only be done by using my main receiver, I told him I'd check Dish. Not being mean, I just didn't want to switch out our cable each trip. He told me he could care less and I was a "stingy ass customer". This is on labor day, so employee record should be simple who was working. When I told her what he called me, she just stared at me and didn't say one word. And this is your respect of customers. I'm writing to tell any future customers to beware of At&t! Please make sure to confirm what your payment (future payment) will be, what the store is quoting you. My payment was off by 40-50$. I also looked at a phone map to make sure AT&T's service was as good as the provider I was changing from. The map showed At&T had better service, also more areas of service. It's not true!! There are many areas especially in Draper where my phone doesn't work. Other areas too! The phone works the best at your home, only when connected to your internet. Really check that out, especially if you live in Draper! Then the past provider gave me 30 days to make the payment. At&T now gives you 13 days, then disconnects your service. Used to be 30 days, went to 15 days , now it's 13 days! It's also a 40$ reconnection fee for each phone on the service. I was able to get that refunded last month by threatening to write a review! We were not told they were doing this. My guess is they were making up $ lost from COVID! Last but definitely not the least! They do not want to talk to you! They just want your money! If your phone is disc, you can't dial 611 to reach Customer Service. You hv to find a 1-800# that works to even get through! It's like whack a mole! Most 800#'s don't wrk. If you are trying to reach customer service, GOODLUCK! They provide service, crappy phone service. There is no customer service! They do not want to credit you if it's their mistake! Again, the company I left was 100% better in all areas! They cared, At&t does not care! You will only reach an audio interactive voice that only wants to take your payment! It took me 4 times to get it to switch me to a live agent! They don't want to provide customers with any customer service! It seems like many companies are doing this now. They want to trade you a crappy service for a lot of $ without providing a semblance of actual customer service! I think it's time customers join together and boycott companies like this until they understand we expect ongoing customer service with their products! Older people especially have problems with this. They want everything done on your computer nowadays! I hv a few months left, I'll be switching back to my old provider. Research all these problems before you sign a contract with this company! The sales staff was nice when I purchased the phone. They do get the payment wrong, but they are nice. I expect more for my money! I'm tired of these money hungry companies! I regret ever switching to a tone deff dishonest company! Look up class action lawsuits too! This store is not an ATT core store. It is owned by a company called Prime which is anything but prime. I bought a phone there last month. Was helped by the most incompetent person (Gustafo) that I have ever run accross. He is a also a liar and "gave" me accesories which he said were free. I told him I had them already and he assured me they were free and to just take them anyway. I get home and my wife asks if I bought $200 in accesories at ATT. I immediatly went to the Bountiful ATT and returned them. (Bountiful employee has heard of gustafo and says he is shady) Fast forward to a month later and Gustafo realizes that he didn't charge me out for the phone and the inventory must be wrong (Iknow this because the ATT core store employee caught it in my billing note) so he blacklists my phone, reports it as stolen, calls me and acts ignorant on the phone in two calls and then shuts my line down. He then claims to have called the police and reported me (note gustafo has been called out for calling the cops in another review) and tells me I am bannned from the store. District Manger will not call us back and this account has over 12 lines on it. I went to the core ATT store downtown and Enrique was awesome and sold me a new phone that is not blacklisted because of gustafo and his incompetence. Hit me up and you can come get your phone that was clearly traded in as I have the reciept for the trade. One little game they play is to tell you that you can't pay your phone off that day. If the little dummy had done that to begin with like I offered, he wouldn't have forgotten to ring the phone out and caused me a ton of drama. read more

I do not recommend anyone that values their time or money use this store. I went in to transfer my service and to buy 2 new 5G phones. I was "helped" by Alex under the supervision of manager Gustav. Alex tried to setup my account and number porting while Gustav "helped" another customer. Alex made several entry errors in the type of account: he entered me as a first responder when I had requested the "military appreciation" plan. I wasn't expecting this task to take over an hour...with no progress made I told them I would have to leave for a previous appointment and would return. Gustav didn't like this. I returned as agreed and resumed trying to activate my account. Due to repeated data entry errors on the part of Alex my credit check wasn't automatically processed (spoiler: the corporate AT&T store had no such issue establishing my credit for billing and a $1200 purchase of phones, but apparently for Gustav 2 forms of government ID wasn't enough to figure it out.) When I asked how much longer I should expect this to take after being told repeatedly to be patient, Gustav told me "I could leave now". He then told me the California ID with an expiration date of 2024 wasn't good anymore and then threatened me with a police call for trespass. I regret not making the police come for the sake of the paperwork, it's not like I ever need to come back there. I should have just travelled the 5 additional minutes to the AT&T corporate store to save me 2 hours of headaches and disrespect at this "authorized AT&T retailer". I should have followed my dad's advice of avoiding salesmen with gaudy, tacky jewelry. Alex tried and was polite, but did not know the core competency of his job selling and setting up AT&T phones. Gustav obviously didn't take the time to train him, and is clearly one of the most miserable human creatures I've ever met. read more

I was on the fence trying to choose between two models of a particular phone. I stopped by this location on my lunch break as it is close to my employer. I was having a hard time making a decision and was getting short on time. The manager told me that if I make my decision now and change my mind within the next 15x days that I could come back and swap out the phone for the other one with no problem. He said it's a simple process and would only take a few minutes. I elected to go ahead and take one of the phones with the confidence that I could exchange it easily. I proceeded to check out... short on time at this point. The manager gave my old phone to his co-worker asking him to transfer over my contacts. The co-worker continued to keep working on a different phone for the next 5x minutes or so, while I was the only client in the store running short on time. After the delay, for some reason, they were unable to transfer my contacts from my old to the new phone. Not only that, but by the time I get back to work (late from lunch I might add) I come to find out that I have no service on the new phone. After a 30 minute chat with AT&T I was able to get the phone to work. Apparently the device was never activated. Two days later and I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse. I elect to go ahead and swap the phone I selected for the other one I was considering. I go back to the store and am working with a nice young lady and she got everything ready to go then tells me it will just be a $45.00 restocking fee. The manager I worked with that told me how simple the swapping process is neglected to mention the restocking fee. The fee was in the fine print on the agreement I had originally signed. I was pretty upset now, just on principal alone. The young lady tried to work with the manager on waiving the fee but he would not budge. The young lady said he would be back in the office in about 2 hours if I wanted to wait... Ha ha ha, no thanks. I told her to go ahead and process this as a return. I will pay the restocking fee and then I will drive up the street to an actual AT&T office, not an Authorized Retailer, and get a phone there. She pleaded that she let me let her talk to the manger and see what she can do. She said she will have the manager call me later in the afternoon after she gets a chance to speak with him. About an hour later, she calls me back and apologizes, and says that her manager will not waive the fee. Later that afternoon, I go into another, closer to home, AT&T Authorized Retailer, to return my phone and pay the $45.00 restocking fee. The manager there was really shocked to hear my story. He was unable to waive the fee there, so I went forward with the return process. I left there minus $45.00 but feeling good because I know the manager at the other store will not be getting a commission from me. Then I drove up the street to the official AT&T store, got everything set up for a new phone and they tell me I can't get the phone because the other store has not fully processed my return. I had to have another 30x minute chat conversation to get my account back in good order and I'm still on my old phone. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. CAVEAT EMPTOR! If you are ever on the fence when choosing to upgrade your phone, make sure you ask if there is a restocking fee. read more
