Believe the reviews about this store. they are a NIGHTMARE, to deal with. Deny, deny, deny, hide behind policy, send you anywhere else to nit have to take responsibility. I wanted to get my phone fixed their idea was to upgrade to a iPhone 16e and as long as you have corporate on the phone they play nice. as soon as I hung up the phone, they told me I owe them five dollars even appropriate refunded the restocking fee. It has taken the three appropriate to get this issue resolved and threatening to lead Verizon in order to hold the store accountable. Stay away from Victra 3rd party stores of Verizon all they care about is their commission not customer service. I feel for the guy that was there today, so new he had no idea what to do and the manager was in Lehi and not very helpful. a call to corporate not only had me deciding to stay with Verizon, but corporate refunded ALL the fees, and lowers my bill. From what I found online Verizon may be the biggest pain to deal with sometimes but corporate so far has been great at reversing the situation and at least keeping this customer on after nearly 14 years. I was a hairs breath away from changing carriers thanks to the nightmare of service received at this store. if you need help, go to the corporate store in SLC, or the newly established store at the mall in south salt lake, amber and Miguel are AWESOME. I would give Dean, our rep, a score of 5 stars. The management tactic of the store, however, and all these retail stores is poor. Waiting for 45 minutes to an hour for help is not a good customer service experience. I think a very simple fix, could be to allow your sales reps to pause for a brief moment and see what people are standing in line for and what the need is. If you More employees is not an option, Maybe have some self help kiosk that link back to the typical Verizon customer service, someone in video maybe. Something has to change on a corporate level, so these stores provide a better experience. This is a painful experience. Then the reps can help those who need things physically done, like screen replacement or getting a mew physical phone. read more

From start to finish they lied and can't seem to figure out how to credit an account. It was a very simple purchase that turned into a fee nightmare. No doubt to line their pockets. Purchased 2 new iPhones and switched my service here at the Draper store. Sales guy Dien was nice, and everything went fine. He said because I purchased quite a bit, AND switched service, he would throw in a free 9 ft charging cable. I didn't notice until I got home and viewed my bill, that he had charged me $20 bucks for it. He also charged me $36 dollars for a single screen protector. Not the hugest deal, just SHADY and DISHONEST. Dien also talked to me like I was a child and didn't understand the first thing about iPhones. Sigh. If I have to visit a Verizon brick and mortar, I'll skip the Draper store. read more

I visited here for the first time this week because I have a warranty on my screen protector. My protector had a crack and because of the warranty, why not. Anyway, I visited a different Verizon retailer on my lunch in the same day and they were not at all helpful, kind, or professional. When I walked in to this location around 7 pm there were 3 workers 2 were quite occupied, and I immediately was offered help by a guy who was nice. He was understanding, he listened to me complain about the other place too haha. Anyway, he replaced my screen protector quite swiftly, no issues. I appreciated it a lot. I would recommend coming to this retailer for Verizon services. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for decades and decided to try the Go Wireless near me to trade in my phone earlier this year. Noticed on my receipt an extra set up charges they didn't tell me about and I paid $50 for their brand screen protector and upsold a new adapter I didn't need. I got a cracked screen 6 months later and rather than replacing the screen for me when I went in the store I have to go to a website and order a replacement. The sales person didn't offer any explanation but it would have been nice to know that up front when they sold me the pricey screen protector. Kind of frustrating when I thought it would be convenient. Wishing I'd just gone directly to the Verizon store for my trade in and got a Zagg screen protector. read more

Set up 4 lines with this location with new phones, paid for one in cash got a recipt for the pay off. Checking the Verizon bill later found they where still charging monthly payments for the phone. Tried to contact them several times by phone, 24th try was successfully and they said we would have to come down. When we did was simply up saled but assured the bill would be corrected, over 1K. Checking bill still not corrected, contacted Verizon and they tried to help, said they where never notified that the phone was paid off and that the location is a third party store so we would have to deal with them. 3 more times stopping in and was always told it would be escalated and someone would call us to resolve the issue. Never heard back, stopped back in and this time the salesperson called he said his manager, their response, " you will have to take it up with you credit card company and dispute the charge". What, we paid in cash, we have the recipt and they showed us the same recipt on their computer screen, the Verizon bill clearly shows we have been billed for the phone and is now paid for. We paid for it twice. We will be escalating to our lawyer for a resolve. Plain and simple, go to the real Virezon store, not this third party store, these guys are not interested in helping you, they just want to take your money. You have been warned. read more

I've had mixed experiences at this store depending on the staff. Today, however, was the worst customer experience I've ever had the displeasure of receiving. Long story short, it took 30 minutes to get my screen protector replaced. I recognize that the staff were busy and that there is a new policy requiring extra 'hoops' for the customer to jump through... Unfortunately, the service provided by Matt (the general manager) made it extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. Matt was cold, unsympathetic, and not able to problem-solve or hear my concerns. To top things off, he complained about me to another support staff over the phone while I was sitting right there. Matt, your voice was low, but your words and actions were loud and clear. This 'impatient customer' won't be returning to your store, and I hope that I can save others some grief with this review!! read more

Went in to try out the new Google phone and you can't even hold it in your hand to demo it. They have it locked up so all you can do is touch the screen. Why would I buy a phone unless I can truly demo it first? On top of that, the reps they were extremely unhelpful. My GLASS screen saver cracked for the third time in 3 months. Yes, once a month. I came into the store on the first of August 1, 2019, to replace it. they told me to come back on Thursday, which I did, they didn't get any in. So I would go in once a week to check if they got any in. It is NOW Sept 4, and this time I called them. What was I told, come in tomorrow, that is when our ship is due. I asked if they could order me one, "NO" they just sent them to us. The lady was supposed to call me back, with a store that was carrying or had them in stock...No return call. read more

Avoid this store. I had a bad feeling about it, but didn't know why. The man who helped us was nice to our faces, and for good reason; we were just another pawn in his court- someone who he can't wait to scam. After buying a phone from them and adding a line to our plan he gave us the receipt printed out. He explained nothing about the transaction and itemization.I looked at it before leaving and asked my spouse why they charged us $20 for a set up fee. This isn't the$30 activation fee you get on your bill any time you make a change-this was something additional. I should've asked the worker about it, but after being in the store awhile I just wanted to go home. It's the worst feeling when you sense your being taken advantage of but don't have the guts to call them out on their schemes. Now we just received our first bill since adding this new line, and came across an additional surprise... An $11 monthly insurance charge on my device! We were never even asked if we wanted this! A long time ago, I went to a Verizon "GoWireless" store, the one in Taylorsville, that was my first bad experience with this Verizon subsidiary company. Last night I bought a phone through the Verizon App, and I decided to pick the phone up at my nearest store. Unfortunately, the closest store who had the phone in stock was this store in draper, which is Verizon go wireless. After receiving the confirmation email that said my phone was ready to pick up and activate, I headed to the store. Everything was running ok until the sales representative realized he was having issues with the system regarding my phone's IMEI number, apparently the IMEI number that was on the phone's box was not matching with the IMEI number residing in their system. Long history short, the only words that this person said to me were that he could do nothing about it, and he was going to call me back when he had the phone ready. He did not give me any solution, and he did not even move to do so. Now I do not have service because I was transferring my number from another career; they are having me waiting until the "issue" is fixed. Everything is thanks to their poor capability to troubleshoot and manage problems. Please, if you are planning on acquiring any Verizon service through any "GoWireless" store, I recommend you go to any official Verizon store. These guys have terrible customer service. read more

I visited a Verizon in herriman and they didn't even care to hear about my phone problem and just sent me to the Apple Store to just find that I was out of warranty so they couldn't help but offer me to pay for them to fix my phone. I have insurance through Verizon so I decided to go to the Verizon in Draper. I was so happy with my service! And I felt that Sean truly cared for our needs. I had a bad experience with customer service at this store. I needed to get off someone's phone plan and wanted to be on a single plan. The associate was friendly during the whole process. My issue was after I left the store. He had signed me up for an unlimited plan when I specifically told him I wanted the 5 GB. He told me he signed me up for my employer discount and it never showed up. I went into the store 2 weeks later after I had signed onto my account for the first time and saw a huge bill. Another associate helped me that time. He seemed like he couldn't be bothered by the way he talked to me. He said there wasn't anything he could do and that I should call Verizon. I asked him if he could help me with the cloud because it wasn't properly setup by the first associate. He told me he couldn't do anything about that either. I called Verizon and was bummed that they couldn't do much to remedy the situation. I had to pay for his mistake! Luckily, the CS representative was so helpful and kind. She was blown away at how my experience was. She credited me for their error and filed a report on that store. Bottom line, do not come to this store. They are an indirect store from what she explained to me. Basically, they are not accountable for their mistakes. I learned my lesson the hard way.
