As a whole, I hate AT&T. I would love to stop using them, but I have yet to find a phone carrier that is reasonably priced, has good customer service and good coverage. AT&T/Verizon/T-Mobile/etc. do not meet all of these expectations. So, ignoring that AT&T is an evil, greedy corporation, I actually found my experience here to be quite delightful. I was switching from an iPhone to a Google Pixel and needed to get my phone activated, data transferred over, and I think a new SIM card too. The Pixel is the first android I've ever owned, so I wasn't really sure what to expect with the transferring. I went in there expecting them to just activate my phone and then either give verbal instructions on how I can transfer the data at home or tell me to buy/download some app that can do it. I walked out with a working phone, contacts and pictures all in place. I literally just sat there and they did all the work for me. The employees were competent and friendly. Not what I was expecting at all. They've restored a little bit of my faith in AT&T and it's nice to feel that the local store will actually be helpful with any future issues. read more

I am extremely disappointed and angry with AT&T. I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T in April 2026 because their representative sold me on an offer that AT&T would provide a reward/gift card to help pay off my previous T-Mobile service. That offer was a major reason I agreed to switch. I submitted my final T-Mobile bill the same day I signed up, directly to the manager at the AT&T store. I was told everything had been submitted and that I would receive the reward within 4-6 weeks. Then the excuses started. I was later told the manager had never submitted my documentation. So I went into AT&T's reward portal myself and submitted my T-Mobile payoff bill a second time. I was then told AT&T still hadn't received it. So I submitted it a THIRD time. Since April, I have called AT&T 11 TIMES trying to resolve this. Every time, I was told essentially the same thing: "You'll receive it within 4-6 weeks." I kept waiting because I believed what their representatives were telling me. Now, in September, after months of calls and being repeatedly told to wait, I was finally told that my documentation supposedly didn't qualify because my phone number wasn't printed on the bill--even though the bill contained the other account information and was clearly my T-Mobile bill. Here's what makes this even worse: Nobody ever contacted me to tell me there was a problem with my documentation. If AT&T believed something was missing, they had multiple opportunities to tell me so that I could correct it. Instead, I was repeatedly told to wait. Then I was told the deadline for the promotion had passed in July and that there was nothing they could do. And when I asked for my old phones back, I was told they would not give them back. So after switching carriers based on a specific promotional promise, surrendering my phones, submitting the requested documentation multiple times, and spending months calling AT&T over and over, I am now being told I get nothing. That is completely unacceptable. I don't know whether this was incompetence, poor communication, or something worse, but from the customer's perspective it feels like I was misled and financially screwed over. A company the size of AT&T should be able to honor the promotions it uses to convince people to switch services. If you're considering switching to AT&T because of one of their "we'll pay off your old carrier" promotions, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, SAVE EVERY DOCUMENT, TAKE SCREENSHOTS, AND DO NOT ASSUME THEY WILL FIX THEIR OWN MISTAKES. After this experience, I would absolutely NOT recommend AT&T. I switched because I trusted what they promised me, and months later I'm left paying the price for their failure to properly process the promotion. AT&T: You don't get to make the sale based on a promise and then conveniently say the deadline passed after your own system/store failed to properly process the paperwork. read more

About a month ago my fiber went out and I was unable to get any help by phone. The AI just kept telling to trouble shoot the same things then it would say I need to have a tech out and hang up. There was no way to schedule a tech or even talk to anyone online or by phone. So I showed up at the store. The employees were already helping others but didn't greet me or even acknowledge I was waiting at all. After a while someone got free so came to speak to me. I told him my problem and he said there is no way for him to talk to tech support either. He said that he has to spend about 30 minutes repeating tech support over and over before he could talk to anyone himself. I noticed a WiFi internet sign so asked to sign up for that because it doesn't involve the fiber line. He said he's not allowed to sign up existing customers but only new ones. Completely ridiculous. Horrible customer service. The employees literally look like they hate their jobs. None of them even smiled the whole time I was there. I stormed out and went to a nearby competitor who actually did acknowledge when I walked in and got me connected to internet in about 30 minutes for a small fraction of the fiber cost. I was with att for over 20 years. I don't know what happened to their customer service but it's now horrible as well as their services being overpriced. read more

I have never been treated so poorly by a company in my life. I came to this store after losing my phone at DFW Airport because I needed help transferring my phone number to Verizon. Instead of helping me, I was told there was nothing they could do because I didn't have my phone with me and was sent back to my car to call customer service. The AT&T representative on the phone immediately questioned what I had been told and instructed me to go back inside because it didn't sound right that the store couldn't help me. When I went back inside, the story completely changed. Suddenly, I was told I needed to file an insurance claim for a replacement phone just to regain access to my number and obtain a Number Transfer PIN. I trusted what I was told because it came directly from an AT&T employee. Later, I learned that wasn't even my only option. This happened immediately after I returned from my grandmother's funeral. My phone number had been tied to my banking, work, email verification, and countless important accounts for nearly 15 years. I was terrified I was going to lose access to everything, and instead of receiving competent assistance, I received conflicting information that made an already devastating situation even worse. What has made me even angrier is AT&T's response afterward. I escalated my complaint all the way to the Office of the President. The response I received was essentially, "I cannot tell you why someone else said what they said." That was the entire "investigation." No explanation. No accountability. No acknowledgment that anything went wrong. To this day, no one has explained why I was given conflicting information. No one has provided written confirmation that I will not be charged insurance-related fees or any additional charges connected to this situation. Instead, I was expected to simply accept the situation and move on. This review is not about the cost of a phone or a billing dispute. It is about accountability. Large companies should not be able to give customers incorrect information, refuse to explain what happened, and then hide behind company policies without taking responsibility. I called this store as my recently purchased flip phone needed repair and I wanted to verify that I had insurance instead of having to dig online for the information. The gentleman that answered the phone told me that I had to come into the store to get that information. When asked if he could just verify the status of my insurance (yes or no), he said "Nope". This was typical of my experience with ATT stores. The manager at the store in S. Austin, where I bought the phone was so rude, and a Lier, that I swore I would never use ATT again, even though I like ATT. read more

I have NEVER had the issues i have with This company since moving to Texas. In Alaska i never had a issue and if i did it was fixed ASAP. I SHOULD NOT CALL IN ASKING ABOUT THE MYATT APP AND I GET TRANSFERRED TO SOMEONE WANTING TO CHECK MY INTERNET SPEED. I already deleted the app and reinstalled but no it still didn't work! So no that did not help. Then he is saying something about the devices you have still pull from that. We had more devices then we do now and again NO ISSUE! They won't let us use our own modem that is so much better then what they give you because if it is they won't do nothing if it's a issue. What kind of bull is that? What difference does it make if i use mine? Honestly at least i had internet service i could count on every DAY! The rep kept saying it's not your internet I'll let you talk to someone with phones. He transfers me and while i WAIT on hold i finally get someone. Then he says oh you have this i need to transfer you. THE FIRST PERSON KNEW WHAT WE HAD SO WHY TRANSFER ME TO THE WRONG DEPARTMENT? ITS FRUSTRATING I HUNG UP. I'm to mad right now to even talk to anyone else. Prices are higher here and service sucks. Hell my neighbors WiFi name is my WiFi sucks. ATT for you to suppose to be the better network why does someone on cricket plan phone works better then mine?????? Me, My husband and 2 kids had to visit the store yesterday after our 4 year old threw my husband's phone in the lake and my phone wouldn't hold a charge. We were helped by Tesla. Give her a raise! she was excellent. Kind, patient, and understanding that we were in an unexpected stressful situation. She took time to explain, and re-explain all our options so we could choose the one that fit our needs. And she was efficient, which is great when you have two little tag alongs. Excellent staff for sure! Top notch service. We came in today for an iPhone 6 plus for my wife's Christmas gift. Let it be told they got me with their Direct TV marketing. LOL "Walk in for a phone, Walk out with television Direct TV" I am pre-existing uverse customer. Direct TV now supports 4k streaming. For the price compared to uverse isn't a bad deal. They are even including the Samsung View in their Direct TV promotion. The geek in me couldn't let a deal go. Wife received her gift and I got mine at the same time. Our customer service representative Liz was awesome and took care of us. She even went out to tell us that we can now combined all of our AT&T services into one bill. Another awesome promotion going on that wasn't available a while back when many of us asked as customers. The store is well kept and also clean. All the staff here courteous and professional. The manager was really cool and friendly. The staff really knows their service with AT&T. One thing I will say at every AT&T is the activation process is slow. That is no fault to the staff at the stores, just the way AT&T business is structured and probably needs some looking into to make it a better experience for the customer and staff. read more

If I could put 0 I would! Went to this store to do a trade in and worked with Mario V. Went through the entire process and was about to finalize and sign. WE saw an error and asked for them to correct it. Due to the having the employee not paying attention he processed the wrong phone. He then accused us of it being our fault even though we never mentioned the phone he processed for trade in. We cancelled the transaction and were assured that everything was canceled out. Come to find out when we went to an actual corporate location that Mario V and this specific AT&T store (non corporate) FALSIFIED a return trade in and sent in an empty box which then came up as a missing phone. The transaction should have been canceled with this location and never was. As well as the customer service was horrible. Make sure if you have to go to this location to repeat yourself numerous times and make sure they aren't falsifying documents and returns under your name. read more

He set up an order and delivery directly to my door step with an experienced Apple technician who helped me with the whole entire phone swap process. He also assisted me with my purchase of a new iPad Pro including adding a line for it. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and I definitely will return to this AT&T location for help when needed. read more

Ordered a Iphone14 through the app. Package was delivered with just a protective cover in the box. No phone, no packing list, that's it. Called and expected to receive normal customer service for these type of things. Boy was I wrong. 5 different times I've talked to them, they tell me I did receive the phone. Unbelievable. I believe this is the absolutely worst company someone could use. In PR after Hurricane Marie, we lived in the Northwest side of the island, we didn't have phone service for 6 months. They only credited 180 dollars total. I asked why and they said because their towers are working in San Juan which is 2 hrs away. So ATT expectations are that we drive, can't get gas either at this time. To be able to use the phone. I kept ATT because of the company discount. We just took on Verizon as a partner. Looks like I will try them out. So if your looking for a different service provider, keep looking. Drive right by ATT. read more

For home WiFi- our internet package stunk, so we started paying $80/month for faster & more reliable WiFi. Wasn't any better. Called to cancel years later since we're moving, and were informed that when our technician came out to make some changes when we started $80/month upgrade he was suppose to switch out our modem, so that the upgrade would actually work, but he didn't. We wasted probably $1500 because the technician didn't switch it out. Poor service. read more

I bought the new iPhone and they typed in my address wrong and put in the wrong name so it got stuck at the UPS customer care center for over two weeks (missing Christmas) and while it sat for two weeks due to their careless mistake, my iPhone got STOLEN out of the box so when I went to AT&T to get it resolved they showed no sympathy whatsoever and made me repay for the taxes on another phone and told me to wait ANOTHER 2-3 weeks for it to be shipped. My phone, tv, and WiFi are all through AT&T. My phone has been fine. The WIFI and AT&T TV are absolutely horrible. From the start and up until this point, has been nothing but one problem after another with little to NO HELP from AT&T. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get help and answers as to why the WIFI runs so slowly (even though I'm paying for the upgraded package with supposedly "faster" and for "higher capacity") but nobody can seem to figure it out. We've been sent a new router- didn't help. They updated the old and new router a few times- nope. I don't normally complain about things like this but I can't use my tv and phone at the same time without one of them lagging. It has nothing to do with distance or high usage because my WiFi router is directly hooked up to the tv and it's only my boyfriend and myself in the apartment. It's constantly lagging when doing the bare minimum (ie- 1 tv on, both phones off). I'm paying to look at a never ending loading screen. Also, peeved that they supposedly sent me items for my services back in may and I have yet to receive them. On one of the MANY phone calls- I mentioned the remote and AT&T Tv box thingy never showed and the lady said she'd send it for sure this time. It's been over a month and NOTHING again. Do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from AT&T. read more

Mannnn. Look. So sprint is a piece of shit ass company but you know desperate times call for desperate measures.. and they're the only company who actually worked with me on pricing. Over the last year or two they have screwed me over & i had enough so i decided to go to at&t and get a prepaid sim & bought a phone on the side in the meantime of getting a new one. the day i came in here they were super helpful & nice. hahahahaha. ha. i was buttered up about the new 75$ plan that is now 50$ with autopay yea cool got it. this girl looked me in my face and said that's all i have to pay. so yeah ok bet not a problem. all last night and today my phone hadn't been working. but charged the 55 to my boyfriends account meaning it was paid. so i'm extremely confused. it took forever for me to get connected to a customer service representative (which is fine i understand right now is a tough time for everyone) she was sooo nice and helpful. just didn't have the access on her end to refund me. she told me to come to my nearest at&t store to get refunded. i already hate having to come into phone stores in general & i'm over customer service today so i walk in i can instantly sense the awkwardness. the two ladies helping me are coming off real tense & i just had a simple question about a trade in & i got a very short response. was not willing to work with me on anything, & all the lady did was call customer service i'm not sitting in here w that kind of atmosphere just to do the same thing i was doing at home. so i told her to just cancel the shit about 5 times and she keeps grabbing my phone like okay you need to relax cause this is my phone not yours. and i was told very bluntly and rudely that i will not be getting a refund and they could care less if i had to spend 55$ on absolutely nothing. i will never come back to this store let alone at&t in general. did some research between verizon & at&t and went with the wrong company apparently. they need new staff or something. maybe jesus. i will be telling my friends & family to end all service with at&t it's sad they have such good service but such horrible & embarrassing customer service. i am extremely dissatisfied & i feel disrespected. but i'm gonna let it slide & get my money back one way or another. verizon is my last option so they better come thru for me or i'm living on walmart phones for the rest of 21st century i'm sick of it. thank u & have a good day. read more

I HAVE TO FIRST EXPRESS THE MANAGER MIKE AND HIS STAFF ARE AMAZING!! To bad I have to deal with their corporate office. They absolutely hands down the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! It all started with Order # 70-061111981860048 Oct 18, 2016 I have been dealing with a credit with AT& T for over 2months.. I switched from TMobile to AT&T 2months ago.. So yes I have been dealing with this issue as a new customer for the 2month I have had their service. I called and spoke to multiple people about a deposit that I was charged that should have NOT be on my bill.. According to the sales rep I spoke to in Oct when starting my service I did not have to pay a deposit because I have my OWN PHONE!! he did however offered me a table which carried a 445.00 deposit which I declined. I received the SIMS cards and went to the store so that a rep can complete the activation. After the hour long activation everything was fine until I was told by my employer that AT&T offer discounts to our employees. I went to a AT&T store to get assistance with ONLY applying the to my ALREADY contract that I had already for several weeks. During that visit the rep at the store again tried offering me the table once again and again a 445.00 deposit was required. I again declined. I did however agreed to start internet service with them. Anyway I received my first bill from AT&T and notice that I was being charged 445.00 for a deposit.. I called and called about this deposit and no one seems to have a clue what's going on.. I was even told by manager Christoff that I needed to pay this deposit and couldn't tell me what the deposit was for. I called relentlessly to get this issue resolved and NO ONE seems to know what anyone is doing their.. They don't add notes and I had to repeat this same store over and over and OVER again. I then went to the ordering team and had the nice guy look over my entire order and he also stated that I DID NOT need to put a deposit down! per this rep he submitted a credit waver that he stated was approved by his boss. I had my bill push out until the 11th of Dec so that the credit had time to be applied and guess what Still NO CREDIT and STILL NO ONE has any IDEA of what is going on.. THERE WAS NO NOTES of me calling them and NO NOTES showing a credit waver was sent on my behalf.. I JUST want to pay what I need to pay, NOT FOR SOMEONES MISTAKE that they are blaming the customer for. I WILL NEVER REFER THIS COMPANY TO ANY ONE OR BUSINESS ASSOCIATES I have!!! It is now the end of the day and NO ONE CALLED ME AS PROMISED. read more

Because of them hiring/not training adequately a rep name John, I am going through hell getting out of the contract he fraudulently sold me with their digital life home security package! I was told I would have a camera installed knowing I did and do not have internet!! From reps, Kimberly and Birdy, claiming Internet is required and their manager Oshane stating it's my problem now and can only get out this by paying the penalty fee over $500!! To the manager Paul Hagdorn at the corporate office stating that's not accurate and Internet isn't required!! Just didn't rectify the issue and is NOT returning any of my calls! I am forced now to file a claim with the FCC and BBB against ATT for fraud and deception! Keep in mind, the people's names above are either at this store, the 888-288-2727 digital life contact #, or the corporate store in Round Rock. And keep in mind, all I wanted was what I was offered!!! All they are interested in is their commission! Research before you let att's represetives pull this stunt with you no matter what store, online, or the 800 customer service reps you will HAVE to deal with one way or another! I've been told ADT home security is the company to buy the home security system through and Verizon is the phone carrier you can feel rest assured in buying products from. Beware of this Store. They are not an AT&T store and they do not fully Understand the Promotions. We were told that if we had Directv we could get the IPhone 7 for Free. We specifically asked if this only applied to new customers and were told no. We purchased the phone and now we are being told by AT&T the promotion did not apply to existing Customers. Our small business utilizes the phone and internet services from AT&T. Recently, We were called and told that we needed to be upgraded from copper to fiber lines, in other words, upgraded to U-Verse. I asked if this was mandatory, she said at some point we would have to make the switch. I reluctantly set up installation for Tuesday morning when our office was closed. I paid an employee to be there with the technician. What was supposed to be a simple switch turned into a chaotic, unorganized, time consuming waste of money and resources lasting over a week. Tuesday's installation continued until the end of Friday, our already limited space was compromised with several technicians for days, but the worst was we had inconsistent phone and internet connection. The thousands of dollars spent on marketing was completely wasted because no one was able to get a hold of us. Furthermore, We are enduring more fiscal loss because we could not process payments and employees were coming in early and staying late to accompany AT&T's technicians. On Friday one of their technicians told us "there was nothing we can do, and the last five hours was a waste of time." He gave me another number to call which led up several phone calls each with over an hour of waiting and redundancy over the course of FOUR WORK DAYS! We made several attempts to contact higher departments but never received a response from any of our emails or messages; there were several occasions we were supposed to be called back but never were. Thursday (over a week later) they sent more technicians to our office. Three technicians came in, spent the whole day here, and again nothing was done. Before the left the technician he said, "the new fiber lines aren't working, you going to have to be switched back to your copper line." Once again I had another number to call, the next 24 hours was spent battling through holds and phone technicians to get our old services back. When the order was finally set they said we would have to wait 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS TO BE SWITCHED BACK!!! I still currently have phone lines that are down, internet that is substantially slow, and no way to process payments. AT&T has no value for small businesses! I do not recommend them!!! Husband needed a new phone, we recently moved to Pville, this seemed convenient. The phone he wanted came with a 'free' tablet which we declined (already have plenty of Apple devices we love to use). Salesperson convinced us it was no risk- we said we would call to activate if/when ready, she said fine. Explained if we did, we try it out- could we just cancel if we don't like/use it. She said "no problem"- her words. Well, she lied. We got hit with a $45 activation fee- was never told (we did not even want it activated). Husband used tablet several times, and we know why it was free. It's a POS, touch screen unresponsive, making any task frustrating. I went to a store by my Apple office- apparently, I am in a 2 year contract for it?! Went back to this store, mgr was off that day, was supposed to call me today. Nothing. I plan to go there shortly.
