My experience with the store reps was amazing! I got a newer IPhone model that hadn't been updated to the new IOS, so it took forever to do the data transfer and update on the new phone. They were so knowledgeable about what could make the process faster (and ultimately did) and kept me company while we waited for it to update. I was in the store for a couple hours, but I honestly didn't mind because they were so friendly! read more

I have paid for insurance on my phone. Lets start with that. My phone fell off the magnetic mechanism on my dashboard while I was making a left turn. I had my window open, so it slid across my dashboard, and went right out the window. The person behind me ran it over. No worries right? I have been paying for insurance on this new phone for over 6 months. Yet, when I put in a claim, they charged my account for every drop that they could. I went to the AT&T store on Hennepin and Lake, in Minneapolis, and the first time they told me it would be replaced the same day. The next time I went to the store, they told me it would be replaced within 24 hours. The third time I went to the store they told me it would be replaced the next day between the hours of 5-7. Now I'm new to MPLS, so I need my phone for the temp agency to call me when they have work for me. Now I haven't been able to work at all. I'm disabled too, and now my Disability benefits are at jeopardy, cuz I cant call them. That means my rent is at jeopardy too. AT&T just might make me homeless A month later, I went back into the store, after paying all my past dues, for service I didn't receive, and they told me again that is would be delivered within 48 hours. I still have no phone. I just moved here to MPLS from Portland Or., and I have been able to find a steady job yet, so I rely on my phone so that the temp agency can get me work. Still no phone! Now the temp agency wont work with me any longer cuz I don't respond to my phone calls and I still have to find a way to pay my bills. AT&T says it's not their fault, cuz their insurance policy goes through a second party. Meanwhile AT&T still charges me for a phone I don't have and service I'm not getting, and insurance for a phone that's been ran over by a car. So I warn you. Stay away from AT&T. They have strait up lied to me in my face now 4 times. Here's the kicker, even though I have no phone, they have locked me into a 3 year policy. I have to continue to pay for a phone I don't have, service I'm not getting, or it will go against my credit rating. Stay away from AT&T. Their adds are lies, their insurance is lies, and the store itself is full of lies. They have a whole back room full of phones, but instead of making it right, they just lie and turn me towards more red tape. I doubt I'll ever get a phone from them. For it not being a repair store, the staff was absolutely outstanding with troubleshooting the issue I was having. My texts weren't coming in on my phone, yet they were all sending perfectly and all of my other messaging platforms were working perfectly. They gave me a number of self fix recommendations (clearing cache, resetting network connections, etc) to try myself to save me hassle of coming in, but gladly offered to help me with anything I needed if I did want to come in. Pierre was one who helped me and after explaining that I tried to do EVERYTHING I'd looked up online/discussed over the phone, he mentioned to me that there was literally only one other thing he could think of: Replace the SIM card. In a matter of minutes, we did that and everything was back to normal! Awesome service by Pierre and for those wondering about their COVID precautions, they had sanitizer on every single table and even had free masks available in case people didn't have them! read more

10/1 - I came into the store to learn about the trade-off promotion for the new iPhone Pro Max. During the conversation with one of the sales associate, he told me that I would get $1000.00 in trade in value for my iPhone XR. Which lead me to move forward with the trade-in. However, due to them not having the phone in-store, they would have to ship it to my house address. 10/21 - I received the new iPhone and went into the store to turn in my old phone. Before completing the trade-in I told the sale associate that now it states its $800 for the trade-off however when I came in, it was at $1000. After he ran his system, he said I would not be honored the $1000.00, unless if I traded my phone my phone in that day (10/1). After he spoke with his manager, he came back stating that the value of $1000 trade-in ended on 9/23 so in all my trade in value would only be $800. Here are the red flags - On 10/1 when I came in, you told me incorrect information about the actual trade in value. - If the trade in value of 1K ended on 9/23, it's my assumption that the whole store have been providing customers inaccurate information? - How come I was never informed that in order to get the trade in value, I needed to turn in my phone that very day (10/1). which means I would be without a phone for 3 weeks. - HORRIABLE customer service. When I asked the sale associate to ask if the manager can over-ride the system, the manager did not even come over to speak to me. Worst store ever. Inattentive and incompetent employees. Prepaid for phone online. It took multiple employees to process transaction. It should have been a simple pickup. When escalated to manager, he just shrugged. All they needed to do was hand over the prepaid phone. It took over an hour for these guys to figure it out. read more

The sales clerk harry misled us when purchasing a new phone and talked us into taking a "free" ATT TV box Assuring us that it was completely free as part of our existing wireless plan, no ongoing charges. Surprise surprise, 30 days later we started getting a monthly charge of $45 and wasted a lot of time an energy in trying to get it cancelled (we never even used the service). Terrible service the times I've gone there, employees didn't explain things at all, then I went there to have a new phone initialized and they locked up several minutes early and wouldn't open to help me.
