I'd been looking for a tablet and had no experience with them at all. I am fairly computer Savey having been a software developer for 40+ years but tablets were something of a mystery to me. Jay & chatted for 15-20 minutes, talked about my needs and what I intended to use it for. Jay offered to send me some info on a couple of new tablets he knew about and could order. He also mentioned a different model available at the local "big box" store. I checked out his suggestions plus the big box option that he had mention and it turns out the big box store had a "just introduced" version of his suggested tablet that had a larger screen, more storage and a slightly better processor than his suggestions. Plus it was a few bucks cheaper. All in all I did end up getting the big box tablet but I really appreciated all of Jay's time and effort that he put in with helping me figure out what would work for me and the price range I would be looking at. I went back there the next day to show him the new tablet and got a screen protector from him. He was just the help I needed and did it even if it didn't earn him very much. Can't ask for better help than that. I'd go back to him in a heartbeat for anything he could help me with even if his price wasn't the lowest one!

When we returned 45 minutes later, the device was far more damaged than before. The screen had a large yellow stain that wasn't there originally, and the back of the phone was popped open, clearly mishandled. Instead of taking responsibility, the employee tried to blame us for "giving the wrong phone model," despite the fact that no one asked us for any information at all--no intake, no paperwork, nothing. When confronted, he suddenly took a fake phone call and pretended not to speak English to avoid accountability. To make it worse, Cellairis Corporate claims this location "hasn't been a franchise since 2021," yet the kiosk is still using Cellairis branding, signage, and presenting itself as an official repair location. Whether they're lying or this kiosk is operating under the Cellairis name illegally, it's a massive red flag. We were only not charged because my husband grabbed the phone before the employee could reach for the card reader. This is not a repair service; it's a scam operation hiding behind a recognizable name. I've already reported this to Mall of America security, MOA Guest Services, and informed the Samsung, Apple, and T-Mobile stores nearby so they can warn other customers. Do not trust this kiosk. Do not leave your phone with them. Do not give them a single dollar.

Since the ownership changed recently, my experience has only improved, including just yesterday where the owner of the store took 45 minutes to help my mom clean up my parents' account to right size their data plan, with a pretty good cost savings each month, and also worked with her to fix an ongoing issue with her tablet. He made nothing from this transaction, but with this kind of customer service he's earned a long term customer.

My experience at this "authorized Verizon" dealer was unsettling, to say the least. The individual…read morewho helped me was Jay. With behavior that was condescending and arrogant, Jay treated me with disdain, making me feel stupid because I am 75 years old and not familiar with all the au courant cell phone lingo. Manipulating the transaction with verbiage beyond the understanding of any educated person, I thought I had purchased a new iPhone 17 Pro Max at a good price point. After signing the paperwork, Jay informed me my phone wouldn't be available for weeks, and I would have to wait until someone from Verizon contacted me. However, my new plan would start immediately despite not having a new phone. Jay rushed me out of the store because he had someone waiting for him. The next day, my iPhone 11, which I've had for years, began malfunctioning and was unable to connect to a cellular network without an Internet connection. I called to speak with Jay, who said, "Okay, but I have another customer in 40 minutes." I rushed over to the store, and in a haughty manner, Jay asked, "What do you want me to do? I have never heard of anyone having this problem. Do you want me to remove the SIM card?" I had no clue if this would work, and besides, mysteriously, my phone began working normally when Jay did something to reboot it. Shrugging it off, he said, "You can't cancel anything until you have a new phone, and I have no idea when that might arrive." He looked away, and my wife and I walked out of the store. Feeling nervous, I phoned Verizon and canceled everything --the new order and the new plan, despite what Jay had told me. While I cannot comment on this store, I can unequivocally advise everyone to avoid Jay like the plague. Jay obviously shouldn't be working with members of the human race since Jay's superiority allows for no empathy or kindness. We are all garbage compared to Jay.

I had dropped my Iphone and part of the corner popped out of the case, so knew I needed to get my smartphone fixed. I checked out some Yelp reviews and decided it was worth stopping by. First, Snelling Avenue was undergoing major construction when I drove there, but it was easy to get to and has its own parking lot, which is super convenient. It was empty when I went in, and I was promptly attended to. The store manager, Demetrius W, helped me. He went over the minimum labor fee of $26, and they literally fixed it within 5 minutes. I barely had to wait - had great customer service, and found the price to be reasonable from other estimates that I got online. Overall, very happy with my relatively easy Iphone fix!

Upon arrival we find out they don't have it in stock and the color is only available online. This is where the frustration starts. Then instead of using the store tablets or computers to get the phone ordered, they used our phone to go into the tmobile app and order it for us, which seemed to entirely defeat the whole reason of going into the store. Why would I come to the store to do something I can do at home? Then I asked for the activation fee to be waived because it shouldn't apply since we were at the store, but the worker just threw up their arms and said it wouldn't let them without even trying. I had to chat with customer service when I got home to get them to credit us back the activation fee. Then the massive screw up comes along. The new phone arrived and I'm getting the old phone ready to trade in. Turns out the worker selected the WRONG phone to be traded in. I call the store and they said they have to cancel the entire order and do it again to change the trade in phone. This is after I already have everything transferred to the new phone. They said I would have to return the new phone and the system might not even let them give it back to me when it's reordered because the box has already been opened and they can't override the system. I again had to call customer service and they were able to sort it out without having to return the new phone, but even they said they've had this happen before and stores will get it wrong. Needless to say we did not have the painless experience we were expecting to have by going into the store. I do not recommend coming to this location unless you're ready to triple check what the workers are doing to make sure it's done right.
