I was 'greeted' by a monosyllabic guy at the front door. I tried to explain the problem but he just took the phone and started clicking around. Still at the front door. I asked if we might move to a desk and sit down. It was like speaking Mandarin. He clicked around for around 10 minutes with help from two other employees. He then shoved the phone at me and said 'here'. I took it to verify the sim was properly working and walked out. I think i exchanged 5 words with this guy. The whole place was full of a ragtag collection who definitely didn't seem like they wanted to be there. To turn my old phone in i went to the location on Roosevelt Blvd. Quite the opposite. A young man greeted me at the door with his name, we sat down and he took the phone and marked it as exchanged. The atmosphere in these two locations was just the opposite. Not sure why.

They say they're gonna call back in 1 to 2 hours 4 1/2 hours later no phone call so you call back now you're told by another supervisor to get an answer. It takes 3 to 5 business days. I guess Verizon works like the weather. You don't always have to be right just make up something and people will believe it for the prices they charge. It's completely ridiculous. How can they improve? I don't think they can. I think they care about getting your money.

As I sat there, I noticed the place was clean, no music, a coffee station tucked away, my chair was mediocre for waiting comfort and an additional customer had walked in then out after waiting about two minutes. I waited until 6:15 pm to be helped and found out they didn't carry the adapter piece I was trying to purchase. The salesman was apologetic but had someone asked me "what brings you in today" from the very beginning, then I wouldn't have waited for 35 minutes.

I had to call the store 4x's (between 945am-10am) before I got an answer on the 4th attempt. The previous attempts, someone picked up the phone and then quickly hung up because I could hear the background noise in the store. While I understand needing to assist customers in the store, a customer calling is still a customer that needs assistance. Picking up the phone & hanging up quickly does not negate the fact that I still needed assistance. It's also rude. Hopefully another customer does not experience this over the phone when they are trying to get assistance.
